Introduction

"Hey I found someone who's seriously injured, we need a healer! Hurry up! He's very close to death" was heard by Natsu as it sounded like a girl.

The voices started fading as Natsu gave up since he had lost all the strength left in him.

After a while Natsu opened his eyes and as he was opening it, everything looked blurry as he slowly began to start seeing clearly.

"Ahh my eyes!" He screamed, because of the sun rays as he used his hand to cover his eyes. It made his eyes to hurt him since it was the first time in a long time that the sun light entered his eyes.

He used his right hand to cover his eyes from the sunlight as he was still on the bed.

"Where am I?" He asked as he looked round the room, he tried standing up from the bed and felt a sharp pain in his chest.

Sigh.....

He held his ribs region and stood up from the bed and headed towards the door. He opened the door and saw a passage, not knowing where to go he looked left and right and decided to go back into the room. He went towards the bed in the room and then laid down on it and decided to sleep.

He had a dream about the incident between him and the Liagole as he immediately woke up from his sleep with fear in his body and started panting.

He then heard a very soft and beautiful voice asking "Are you okay?"

He turned towards the door and saw a beautiful girl with a blonde gold hair and a very beautiful skin coming in.

"Are you just waking up? It looks like you had a rough time in there and I can see you are really terrified of what happened" she said as she closed the door behind her.

Natsu who was stunned by her beauty and words as he asked "What do you mean by that?"

"I saw the way you woke up and judging by the way you are sweating, you were either stressed or afraid" she replied coming closer to him as he sat up right.

"Oh, so that's what you meant" Natsu replied as he scratched his back head smiling awkwardly.

"By the way I'm Nanami, what's your name?" she said.

"I'm Natsu, it's nice to meet you" he replied.

"Okay, now that we have become acquainted I want you to meet my friends" she said as two boys came into the room.

One of them had a crimson red hair and wore a black top with a red short as he smiled so softly and said "I'm Tetsuya, it's nice to meet you"

The other had a thick blue hair and wore black from top to bottom, but unlike Tetsuya he didn't smile towards Natsu, instead he kept a cold face without showing any emotions and said nothing.

Nanami then said "Don't mind Osamu, he's not really the talking type" as she smiled with an awkward face while trying to laugh.

"It's nice to meet all of you" Natsu said.

Before Natsu could say anything else Tetsuya interrupted him and said "Sorry for the intrusion but if I may ask, what where you doing there without a team and what were you thinking going that deep into the forest on your own if you know how dangerous it is"

Natsu didn't really understand what he meant and said "I'm sorry I didn't really mean to go in I was actually.... " immediately he was cut off by Tetsuya who asked "Are you a solo hunter or adventurer"

Not knowing what to say Natsu started getting nervous and stammered "Well I..., I..."

Again someone interrupted him before he could complete his statement, this time it was Nanami and she said "Come on Tetsuya stop pressuring the boy, he just woke up, at least he should get enough rest before we question him"

"Are you hearing yourself?" Tetsuya replied as he then said "We don't know what this boy was doing there and yet you are trying to support him"

"Stop with all this nonsense, I'm not supporting him I just said that this might not be the right time to question him" Nanami replied facing Tetsuya as they began to argue.

As they were arguing, a woman who was really beautiful and wearing glasses, having a green long hair with a very light skin and wearing a black short skirt and blue crop top with a lab coat as long as a gown entered the room and said "What's all this noise all about" as she closed the door behind her.

Immediately Nanami and Tetsuya said "Ahhh! Dr Mayumi, what are you doing here" and she replied "You know I'm a doctor right and his my patient, so don't I have the right to check on my patients again"

Dr Mayumi then turned towards Osamu and said "Are you just going to stand there and watch, aren't you going to say anything?"

Osamu stayed silent and said nothing, he didn't even change his facial expression at all, it was still as cold as ever.

Sigh....!

"You know, you never change do you" Dr Mayumi said.

Natsu was confused with all the names and the worst part was that he didn't even know what to do or say, so he kept silent while thinking "What do they really want from me, they said I'm a patient, does that mean I'm sick, why are they even interested in someone like me, what's happening?"

Dr Mayumi turned towards Natsu and noticed that he was nervous and confused so she said "You don't have to worry about anything, the three of them you see before you were with a group of people who found you lying on the ground very close to death"

She paused and looked at Natsu for a little while, so that he can digest the information and she continued by saying "So they brought you hear and was taking care of you, that was until they called me. Nanami was afraid you were going to die and so they decided to call me to take good care of you"

And then she asked Natsu "What are your powers?"

Natsu knew deep within him that he didn't have any powers so he tried dodging the question by asking "How long was i asleep?"

Dr Mayumi looked at him for a little while without saying anything and then said "You have been asleep for more than a week" then she touched her jaw and said "Hmmm! I won't say I know the exact time they brought you hear but I have been treating you for a week now"

Natsu was stunned, he knew he was weak but to sleep for that long, what the heck is that. Natsu still tried understanding how he slept that long and while he was thinking, Dr Mayumi interrupted him and said "You know, your a very lucky boy, you spent all your energy trying to defeat a powerful beast which would have killed you if they didn't come to rescue you, so if I may ask, what's your stats?"

Natsu knew he couldn't avoid the question so he thought for a while and said "I'll tell you my stats only and only if Osamu would tell me his stats"

Natsu said that because he believed that Osamu wouldn't say a word but to his greatest surprise Osamu replied with something that frightened him as he said "If that's the case, then, I'll only tell you my stats if you can defeat me, but know that if I win you'll still tell us you're stats, is that okay"

Natsu was sure in his body, spirit and soul that he would undeniably lose, he knew within him that he didn't stand a chance but he didn't want to back down because that might make them belief that he's really weak.

Immediately Natsu finished thinking on how he'll undeniably lose, Nanami said "Osamu! you know that you are going to defeat him easily so what's the point of asking him to fight, you'll just increase Dr Mayumi's work"

Tetsuya then said "She's right, it's just going to be a one sided battle, I don't think he can even manage to touch you talk less of hurting you, well...!"

Natsu was shocked by what he heard as they continued speaking, he knew that he was going to loose but he didn't realize that the guy he challenged was a monster.

As he was trying to think of a way out, he remembered something his grandma said and this is how it goes "My dear child, don't be so afraid of a battle. No matter how impossible that battle is, don't ever be afraid of it. Instead you should try as hard as you can to win, and if winning looks impossible to you, then try to survive while thinking of how to win. Know that a man isn't born as strong as he is currently, he worked hard for it, and when you're ready to work on yourself, you will overcome every obstacle. Even if you lose or fail, always remember that there is always a lesson to learn and that lesson will take you a long way, it will make you to be able to overcome all other obstacles and as legends once said, 'Knowledge is power', so instead of crying and making sorry excuses, make good use of your knowledge and surprise the world with whatever you've got"

After remembering what his grandma told him he smiled and said "Okay let's go, I've been really wanting to see how strong you are but with the way they talk about you I guess you all don't know what I'm capable of"

Nanami was shocked by what he said and screamed as Natsu stood up from the bed to fight Osamu "Are you out of your mind! Even if you can match up to him you shouldn't fight in that condition" she started shouting while lowering her voice back down when she said that.

Tetsuya on the other hand saw through Natsu's act of bravery and said "You know, your one hell of an interesting guy"

Natsu didn't understand why he said that so he quickly voiced it saying "What do you mean by that?"

Tetsuya was shocked by what he said and he immediately knew that Natsu was dumb and said "Are you seriously that dumb, most times after hearing something like that, I mean the way we were talking about Osamu defeating you easily, most people tend to back down and very few tend to still go through with it, but here's the fact, if you aren't strong I'll advise you to step down now because those people who pretended to be strong and went through it died, so don't think yours will be different"

Natsu immediately felt chills move down his spine, he knew he would lose because he is the weakest of the weak, but instead of giving up he decided to sound cool and said "Are you really looking down on me, well shame on you, cause I'm going to win this fight"

He then looked at Osamu and said "Lead the way"

Osamu who had a little conscience told Nanami to find good clothes for Natsu to wear and for her to make sure the clothes had reinforcement in them.

Natsu didn't really understand what Osamu meant by reinforcement so he decided to say nothing.

Nanami then left and not long after came back with clothes for Natsu, and not long after that, Natsu was done wearing the clothes which was a perfect fit.

It was a black top with blue trousers and with that Natsu and the others left the room for the fight between Natsu and Osamu.
