Chapter 4;Emma's friends

The next day when I woke up Emma was already ready to go and noticing that I was already up she approach me with a worried face. Then later on I figured out why she looked at me like that, it's because my eyes clearly swelled up and eye bags around it giving away that I cried last night and only had a little sleep.

" Are you already okay?". Walk towards the table and took the tray on it and walk towards Keiko.

"Yeah..."

"Here let me help you, this eyes can help about the swelling...". Put the tray on the bed and took the icebag that is the bowl.

"No I'll do it myself..and besides you'll be late if you stayed here..."

"Don't worry it's still too early we have more time and besides it'll be more convenient since I can see it."

"Alright"

After I'm taking a bath and changing Emma give me a black ribbon to tie my hair she said she maid it herself and she said that this way we're wearing completely the same since she had a ribbon that looks like the one she gave me. She insisted that she'll put it on me so I just agreed because we're in a hurry. After putting the ribbon Emma and I quickly left the room.

I was following Emma through all the way out of the maids quarter since I still don't know the lay out of the mansion.

"So today I'll be guiding you and when we're walking please memories and take not of the ways, since this guiding is not as simple. We're going to help the maid in their works and after that continue our exploring the house."

"Okay..."

Emma and I just did what she said, while we're working and shifting to one work and place I've taken notes and memories the way on this house. On the process I've learned that Emma was actually very friendly to everyone and it seems like everyone likes her too.

After we're done in our work Emma and I went back to our room and after that get a clothes for change and went to the maids bathroom, the maids bathroom was also kinda big and after entering the first door to get in there is more thee doors the door on the left was for the dressing room and in the middle was for the shower room and on the left was for the toilet's. First me and Emma went to the dressing room and put our night gown on our locket. Emma and my locket is also shared and there is a night gown for every maids too with the same style and only white color. After putting our night gown there we took a towel and went to the shower room.

Inside the shower room there was a wall on each shower and a curtain for the entrance.

After I have finished taking a bath I put on the towel and went to the dressing room where I found Emma in there talking and laughing with the other maids. I walked to the locker and took my night gown and quickly put it on. As I was about to leave the dressing room Emma called out to me.

"Hey, wait, wait Kieko..."

Before I could even respond and say a single word she quickly grabbed my arm and draged me to where the other maids she's chatting with are standing.

"Hey guys meet a new friend of ours...this is Kieko and Keiko this is Jessa and Sam their a friends of mine and also a big sister to me."

"Ohh... nice to meet you two."

"Hello Keiko, as you know my name is Jessa but you can call me big sis."

"Don't listen to her, you call her sister Jess and you can also call me sister Sam."

"Oh, okay."

"Hehe...You know Keiko you can call me sister Emma too or big sister."

I looked at her confused, I mean she looked like at the same age as me so I think I must've been over thinking and maybe she was just saying this out of whim.

"I can't do that."

"Huh, why?...You agreed to sister Jess and Sam's request."

"That's because their older than me but you're not."

Then just as I finished talking there was an awkward silent then Jessa and Sam started laughing.

"Pfft... hahaha"

"Hahaha"

"Hey don't laugh you two."

I looked at them confused but still I just watched them as they continue laughing at Emma and Emma telling them to stop.

"Okay, okay , let's stop teasing Emma... Pfft.."

"Pfft..'cough'"it's clear that Sam's cough was fake and it was only to stop laughing.

"Actually Keiko, Emma may not look like it but she's already older than she looked."

"Yeah, although you're almost in the same height but your age is totally different."

"Hmm, by the way how old are you?."

"Eight."

"Ohhh..."looked at Emma teasingly.

"Emma is actually already twelve..hmm"trying hard to stop her laugh.

I was shocked to hear that, I thought Emma was only at the same age as me. Everyone who will see her will think the same anyway.

"Hey, can you two just stop talking already. I know even though you both seems to be explaining things but I know what you both are doing."

"What are you talking about we're innocent."Jessa dramatically put her hands on her mouth.

"Yeah, yeah, innocent".Sam also dramatically wipes her imaginary tears.

I just stood there watching their conversation unfold and grow more longer. And when we already went to our respective rooms it was already so late. In every room there was a clock on the wall above the door to guide the maids about the time.

And just like that Keiko had spent five days in the mansion working hard and enjoying the company of her friends. But she completely forgot about her grandma and had let her guard down as those five days was actually peaceful.

On the other side an older woman can be seen getting off a black car elegantly. As the older woman get off tons of man in black surrounded her for protection.

A maid bow down to her and welcome her. It was the head maid.

"Welcome home madam"

"Madam I'm grateful that you came home earlier than the other business trip"

The older woman, looked at them quietly and stared up the sky with an emotionless face. With her cold and elegant plus her domineering presence and emotionless face except the butler and the head maid everyone around her shivers in fear.

"How's she...?".

"She's doing well madam."

"Hah...doing fine huh?... seems like she's enjoying life her..."

With a cold and full of hatred voice, and a sarcastic tone she continued to talk while slowly but elegantly walking towards the mansion with every steps conveying the message

that she will bring hell.

"Seems like I should've came back early..."

The head maid and the butler and the older woman's second assistant (It was only second because the butler was the first.) followed her inside, while the other servants that is left got to their work. As the older woman was already at the front door that is opened for she stopped at the entrance and smirk sinisterly.

"Keiko Astford, I've made you wait...but don't worry I 'Souzeit Hyneil' will soon make your life as miserable as possible as compensation for not treating your mother that way before and for what that woman did to my life."
