Luke and Daniel continued their conversation till it was six in the evening, the weird thing was that Teacher Ortega never came back to check on them, so they left the school premises.

Luke ran to the garage at the back of the high school, to retrieve his motorbike, a black 1998 Yamaha YZF-R1, which was given to him by his father as his 16 year old birthday, putting on his helmet he drove away at high speed, heading towards Greensburg, which was about an hour drive from Mandeville, stopping at the entrance of a skyscraper that seems to be be touching the clouds, it was one of the largest in the city, in front of the building was a huge signboard with the company's name printed on it, Mayweather Firm, at the entrance of the company stood two well-built middle-aged men playing the roles of guards.

Seeing Luke coming down from his motorcycle, one of the friendly looking guard walked over to Luke with a smile hanging all over his face, but if one should look closely there was a sense of panic hidden within, "Luke, what's up" the guard reached out for an handshake with Luke, Luke also noticed the difference in the guard, but decided to play along as he reached out to his handshake

"Francis, I am fine, woah bro you have gotten bigger,.....(chuckles) it seems like you are being treated right" Luke exclaimed as he connected the handshake to a bear hug, then he turned to look at the other guard who kept a stern face at the corner of his eye "when did we get a new guard..."

"Luke don't act weird just follow my lead"Francis whispered to Luke while they were hugging,

"hahahaha....... it's all thanks to your Father's company, it's been long time little boy Luke let's go, tell me more about high school, the ladies" Francis chuckled as he interlocked his arms with Luke's

Luke's expression changed lightly as Francis was acting weird today, but he decided to act along, grinning wildly, "hahaha....it's true, let's go, my treat"

"I will be right back.." Francis turned to the other guard at the entrance before dragging Luke to the nearest food stall at the back in the district, Francis ordered two bottles of soft drinks before taking a seat on an empty table, before whispering "Luke things are not looking good for you in this company, your Dad's best friend Andrew has been calling the shots around here like he owns the place, and anyone who disagrees with him gets fired, I also heard that he has gotten more than half of the board of directors on his side, he plans to sell the company's biggest real estate project in the city, he claims it's to gain funds for other projects.... "

Francis looked around to check their surroundings to see if someone was peeping.

"look the only thing you can do is to let your Aunty at Mandeville help you get your shares, then you pull out of the company, that is the only way you can gain something and this itself has a lot of risk.." Andrew whispered slowly

At this point Luke was completely flustered "what other risk could there be..."

"kid, do you think every business is done legally, if you think so then you are dumb, how do you think Andrew managed to convince the board of directors to support his plan, those old men in the board of directors are not blind, they are aware of the fact that Andrew is just trying to suck the company dry, so i am sure they agreed on a deal regarding how to split the profit gained after the trade, and the ones who didn't agree where cut off " Francis made a motion of sliding his index finger across his neck

Luke was shocked, stared at Francis with wide eyes, "what do you mean, are you sure, Andrew doesn't seem to be the type of person to go that far"

"let me ask you when was the last time you saw or got a message from your uncle" Francis asked Luke

It was then Luke finally realized that something seemed fishy regarding this statement, because his uncle, Thomas, the husband of his aunt in Mandeville had been missing for about three months, Luke suddenly had an epiphany which was the fact that no one could be trusted, because he remembered how Andrew had treated him nicely when his Father was alive, but after his Father's death he has started bearing his fangs, then he looked at Francis with suspicion in his eyes

"how do you know all this Francis, because as far as I am concerned, this is clearly a top secret which even some of the higher ups have no idea about "

Realizing that Luke did not trust him Francis quickly spoke up "Kid have you forgotten that I came from the streets, the blood gang, it is because I am a guard that is why I was able to do some digging without being caught, or drawing attention to myself, I asked some of my former gang members and they told me about a mission involving your uncle, and I was also made aware of the secret assassination of some of your Father's loyal friends, that is why I am telling you all this ..."

Luke golden eyes flickered as he stared at Francis intensely to see if he was lying, but upon seeing the clear but worried expression on Francis face, he knew he wasn't lying, giving a helpless sigh "ok I believe you, but what does that have to do with me taking my shares"

Rubbing his temples with a frustrated expression, Francis decided to explain to Luke once and for all "Look, if you get your aunt to sign as your guardian and you are allowed to take your shares, do you think Andrew will just let it go, a man like that has high ambitions, he will probably threaten you with your aunt or try to kill you.....soo "

Luke paused for a moment digesting all the information he had received, trying to deduce a flawless solution for his current dilemma, suddenly his golden eyes lit up "I have an idea, instead of using my aunt as a guardian I could use my dad's friend one of the founder of the Oasis college branch on Los Angeles, he is from a royal family, he isn't someone Andrew would try to mess with, then I could secretly relocate my aunt to another apartment, then I will keep studying in Oasis college where my security is secure.."

Francis eyes also lit up "yh good, that's a nice plan, in that way you will just have to wait till you turn 18 and get full access to your Father's money and company,....." Francis paused for a moment with a frown on his face, " but are you sure your dad's friend can be trusted..."

Luke nodded intensely for a moment before his mood dropped

" he would help me but he has a righteous temperamental bullshit, am sure he won't let me use the money from the shares" Luke murmured

Andrew was speechless, _we are talking about how to survive and keep his Father's business from crashing, but he is still worried about spending the money, you need to be alive to spend for Gods sake_ Andrew sighed helplessly

"ok kid, I will also leave the company today so as to prevent Andrew and his men from laying their hands on me , i am sure because of this conversation I had with you they might get suspicious"

Luke nodded, it's true, because if he were to keep working in the company and Luke comes with his dad's friend to get his shares they could probably link it all to Andrew as he was the first one that he came in contact with in the company after his Father's death, Originally he came to the Company today to see if he could be an intern in the company so as to make a little cash, but now things have changed, he also wanted to go to his Father's office to search for something, because on the night his Father died, his Father called him on the phone giving him some weird information, at first he didn't take things seriously but now it seems that there are some issues in his Father's company

"Be safe Andrew" Luke sighed patting Andrew on the back, before walking to a clothing stall at the corner to buy a pair of stockings, Incase a situation arises where he was questioned about what he went to do with Andrew, he could just tell them that they just went on a stroll, "Hey Andrew if anyone asks we just went on a stroll" then he walked of towards the company.
