Chapter 4

(Esma Pov)

I look at Laurence and Spencer. They look at me.

"He's obviously not going to be responsible of the baby." Laurence says harshly.

The only difference that Laurence has is his stubborn beard. Looks like he's been trying to grow it for a while. But it looks good on him.

"You think?" I ask them.

They nod in unision.

"But how does Leslie know what happened?" I ask them. I feel frightened. No one know only Dad and my Brothers but Dad died. Especially if she has evidence. I don't know what I'm going to do.

Laurence sits on the hospital bed. He grabs my hand.

"We have no idea, Esma. But we'll find a way to stop this." He says.

In reality I'm guessing I'm older. But when I was 15 my dad messed with the wrong people and as a message they hurt me and sent me back to my house. When Dad and my Brothers saw me they knew what happened to me. I remember crying and feeling disgusted with myself.

Dad was killed by the same people several months later. I never took therapy but I entered an anonymous group chat for girls and women who have gone through the same thing and you can say it helped but then as I was healing Dad died.

But somehow Leslie has evidence as in pictures of this. I shake my head.

"I shouldn't stress. Its bad for the baby." I say. I gulp.

"Are you sure about the baby?" Spencer asks. I nod.

Laurence stands up and stretches his legs.

"Then we will be the best uncles in the world. This kid will have the best life even if it's without a father." Spencer says.

Laurence jabs him with his elbow.

"What?...ohhhh" Spencer says.

"Sorry sis." He scratches the back of his neck.

I nod. "Your fine"

"So how long do I have to stay here?" I ask.

"The doctor said until your on the clear maybe a month or two." Spencer says.

I nod.

Vincent rushes into the room. I just met him a few months ago.

"What are you doing here?" I ask.

They explain everything to me.

"Guess what?!" Vincent exclaims.

I look at him confused. He shakes his head and ignores me.

"The project Esma was working on is finished. Every possible mistake is fixed. If there is even a little mistake it is unlikely but it would be easy to fix." He says to my brothers. They look at me proud.

I tilt my head to the side confused. They sigh.

Laurence sits on the bed again.

"You have been working on this for about 3 years now. You've been working on making a Makeup/Clothing company. We have been trying our best with everything but this is your company you have done everything." Laurence exclaims.

I look at him confused, "Makeup? Clothing? Both of them?"

Vincent and Laurence laugh. They nod.

"Your makeup line is called glow up and your Clothing line is called Esma Fashions. You didn't work so much on the name for you Clothing line." He says sarcastically.

I gawk at them. I did all that. I always dreamed of this but our family company is known for Architecture and Artwork.

They laugh at my expression. Damn.

All of a sudden Alec throws the door open and looks at me.

"I don't care if that child is mine. I will have no part of it's life. I feel sorry for that child. You just depend on your body and your family name. You will never be a good mother and I won't help you raise a disaster." He yells at me.

Before I can react. Laurence punches him across the face and Spencer joins him.

"Stop." I scream.

I look at Alec.

"You don't have to worry. I never even asked you to be apart of my child's life. You will regret this one day and beg at mine and my child's feet. My child will never call you Father. You hear me never and who said I used my body. Boys throw him out. I never want to see him again!" I yell at him.

Alec looks at me angry. My brothers throw him out literally throw him out and shut the door. I feel my eyes water.

Vincent comes to my side and my Brothers as well.

I put a hand to my stomach, "My child is fatherless." I whisper.
