*Ring Ring,* My annoying alarm goes off for the second time to wake me up. I

I stayed up all night reading the lesson, so getting out of bed was a struggle.

"Wake up, wake up," my parrot pecked my head, screaming for me to get up.

"Okay, Bitter, I'm up, I'm up." Bitter walks away from me, probably just wanting to start his routine, including munching on his favorite cereal.

I got up, went to the bathroom, and noticed my dark circles in the mirror. "I

i should have slept early," I said to myself, toning it like it would help when between those lessons I snacked on a little chapter of my book “Fourth Wing” Well I said just one chapter, and then it was 2 am already. I might need to put on some light makeup to hide them and look presentable at school.

"Katie! Get up now and have breakfast!" my mother shouted from downstairs. I

groaned and went straight to the coffee machine. I'm likely to get Moody before my morning coffee.

Sipping my steamy coffee and smelling that aroma in the morning is the best

“Coffee? Really Kate? Isn't coffee every day bad for you since you're anemic?” My older cousin Leslie sarcastically comments. I just laugh it off."Hey, stop that!" Loelle, my little cousin, said to my older cousin Jake, taking her toast. Yes, all our family members are in my grandparents' hacienda, a lively place with my Lola, her 2 sons, 4 daughters, and their families.

I'm from my Lola's youngest daughter Mary, I have one younger sister named

Jaime, 4 older cousins (2 males and 2 females), and 6 younger cousins (2 females and 4 males).

were like a hockey team with parties every night but in the morning because of

the chaos we always make but hockey players are hot that's the difference yeah I should stop reading in the meantime “Katie, you're going to be 13 next year you should make more friends and go out sometimes” my older cousin Mike told me while eating his toast I just scoff at him and reply “I may turn 12 last week but I'm still 11 mentally, it takes time kuya” all the older cousin laugh since they all know what troubles they made when they turned 13 with their so-called kind friends.

I went upstairs after I finished my coffee and toast and saw Lola talking to

someone on the phone saw me and gestured for me to come to her. I went “Darling Kate, you don't have classes tomorrow, right?” “Yea Lola, why do you ask?” I replied.

“Well we're going somewhere tomorrow”

“Where?” I excitedly said to her and noticed the phone was still on a call. I asked

“Who are you talking to?” I look at her beautiful blue eyes that are as calm as the

sea at night with the warm breeze

“You will know tomorrow darling” my Lola laughed and patted my head

I look at her, tilting my head while she laughs and walks away

“What was that about?” I asked myself but headed to change and went

downstairs since we were going to be late at this point all of my cousins were already inside the van waiting for me, of course, except our oldest cousin Jessy “Where is Jessy?” My little cousin jade beamed who's currently in kindergarten.

“she's already done she's just getting her bag” I reply while I sit beside him

'Right to mill, did Lola say anything about where she will be going tomorrow?’

Furrow his Brow “she didn't mention? Why is she going out?”

“Yes, she said the two of us are heading out tomorrow”

“Where?” My oldest cousin Jessy asked while taking a seat

“I don't know” I reply

“I'm sure you're going to the mall for a new dress” Uncle Mill teased

I groaned since I didn't fancy the hours I needed to stand while putting on some dresses. It was going to be a tiring day if we were heading to the mall

I tap my fingers as Hours pass by in this four-corner room. Teachers come and

go And I'm still thinking about who my Lola talking to and where are we going tomorrow and why it has to be tomorrow-

“Katie!” My friend Tenshi “what?” I exclaimed

“I've been calling you so many times, but you're in your world again” Tenshi

refuted to me “Sorry, why are you calling me” I gushed to her “Our class is done. Can I come over to your house?” “Yeah, why not?” “Oh let's go, what are we waiting for” she beamed while pulling me

“Ok, ok, calm down girl wait are you coming to hang out with me or just there to

sightsee my kuyas?” I grin at her silent smile, knowing I got it right

“Both?” We both laugh, heading out of the school and walking home

“I'm home. Hi Lola Tenshi is staying for dinner”

“OH dear, go on, come in tenshi”

“Hello Lola” Tenshi hugged Lola, and we walked into the living room. My kuya

Blane and his hockey team were playing their usual game, well, not the whole team, just the top forward Stef, goalie Max, and defenceman Gabe

“Why didn't you call me? I should've picked you up” Kuya Blane nagged at me

“I'm alright with walking” “we can study here” as I put our things on the table

We studied while Tenshi was sightseeing from time to time from where my kuya and the other 3 were playing making this time worth a single look hours went by so fast when the two of us hung out well looking at my ceiling dozing off and thinking of many useless things or not maybe “We really can become sisters cousin if she marries one of my cousins” I mumbled and laugh at myself “oh~ how much chaos would that cause” I gushed.
