CHAPTER V ENCOUNTER WITH THE BULLY (2)

Amber and her group are walking in the hallway towards the canteen. They are talking about starting a Group party for the upcoming combat test.

Liana looks at her from across the hall and rolls her eyes.

Amber and her group walks past and doesn't even acknowledge her, she doesn't even pay attention to her and keeps talking to her friends.

Liana feels annoyed for making her feel an insignificant person. ‘Doesn’t she recognize me? I’m ranked 4 strongest freshman this year’ grits her teeth and glares at her.

Amber didn’t notice and continued talking and laughing with her friends, not caring at all.

Liana goes up to her “HEY”

Turns around slowly”” what do you want weakling? Her face shows no emotions, and it's clear she's annoyed.

Liana shoves her “You think you're so much better than me, huh?”

She doesn't flinch and smirks at Liana “Yes I do, and I'm not afraid to show it.” looks at her with a cold stare “you know I could take you down in seconds if I wanted to.” she's looking down on her and smirks “If you badly want a beating we can duel it out at the arena.” shrug “You know, I don't really like bullying those who were weaker than me.... But I guess I can spare you since you're so persistent" she said and challenges her to a duel.

Claire (her friend): Why don't we have a little bet over this?

Liana forced a fake laugh “You really think you can beat me? I’d like to see you try.” She looks at her with an amused smile.

Claire: “Well if Amber won, you'd need to leave her alone and never bother her again, but if you win, you get to make her do whatever you want.” she looked at both of them and smirked. “Oh this is going to be a good fight.” her smirk turns into a devilish grin “It's going to be fun watching you squirm.” her friends start laughing.

Amber: “It's not going to be a fair fight, you know I don't hold back.” she said looking at her with a playful smirk “I guess I'll be giving you a handicap.”

Liana chuckles in disbelief “Whatever. I don't need a handicap. I can beat you easily without it.” gives a cocky smile “I'll even let you strike first” winks and starts to walk away.

Clara (her best friend): “You're not gonna regret this, Amber!”

Amber: “I know” looks at her with a cocky smirk “Oh trust me, I'm not going to hold back.” walks away to get ready for their next lesson.

Claire: “hmmm... This is going to be good.” her friends follow behind her

Amber: “I'll give you 2 days to get ready for the duel at the Arena” she and her friends walk past her as if nothing happens.

The people around them started gossiping and the news about their duel spread like a wild fire around the Academy

After her class she went back to her dorm and sits in her room and practices fighting with a wooden sword, trying to improve her skills “I can't let her win” sighs, “I don't care if I'm gonna get hurt, I have to beat her.” continue training and her sword harder.
