Tell Me Its Not a Dream

Tell Me Its Not a Dream

EPISODE 1

Inna was having a day that could only be described as a series of unfortunate events. First, her phone decided to take a spontaneous swim in her morning coffee. Then, her favorite pair of jeans ripped right at the seam, leaving her with a wardrobe malfunction that would make even a fashion icon cringe. And to top it all off, she was now stuck in a crowded supermarket, surrounded by screaming toddlers and a rogue shopping cart that seemed determined to take her out.

"Watch out!" a voice boomed from behind her.

Inna turned to see a tall, lanky guy with a shock of messy brown hair and eyes that sparkled with a mischievous glint. He was holding a shopping cart in one hand and a bag of chips in the other, and he was looking at her with a mixture of amusement and concern.

"Sorry," he said, his voice a deep baritone that sent a shiver down her spine. "Didn't mean to scare you. Just trying to save you from a potential cart-related disaster."

Inna blinked, her mind struggling to process the situation. "You saved me?" she asked, her voice tinged with disbelief. "From a shopping cart?"

He chuckled, a sound that made her heart skip a beat. "It happens," he said, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "I'm Euan, by the way."

"Inna," she said, her cheeks flushing with a sudden wave of warmth. "Nice to meet you, Euan."

"Nice to meet you too, Inna," he said, his smile widening. "So, what's a girl like you doing in a place like this?"

Inna sighed. "It's been a day," she said, her voice laced with exasperation. "My phone drowned in coffee, my jeans decided to commit fashion suicide, and now I'm being chased by a rogue shopping cart. It's like the universe is trying to tell me something."

Euan laughed, a sound that filled the supermarket with a sense of lightheartedness. "Sounds like you need a break," he said, his eyes twinkling with mischief. "How about I buy you a smoothie? My treat for saving you from the shopping cart apocalypse."

Inna hesitated for a moment, then found herself nodding. She couldn't deny that she was intrigued by this guy, this Euan who had appeared out of nowhere and saved her from a potential shopping cart disaster. Maybe, just maybe, this was the start of something good.

"Okay," she said, her voice a little shaky. "A smoothie sounds great."

Euan grinned, his eyes sparkling with excitement. "Excellent choice," he said, his voice full of enthusiasm. "Follow me."

He grabbed her hand, his touch sending a jolt of electricity through her entire being. She didn't pull away. She didn't even try to. She just let him lead her through the crowded supermarket, her heart pounding with a mixture of anticipation and disbelief.

This was insane. This was completely, utterly insane. But as she looked at Euan, his smile radiating warmth and his eyes filled with a mischievous glint, she couldn't help but feel a strange sense of excitement. Maybe, just maybe, this was the start of something amazing.

Maybe this was the start of a love story that would make even the most cynical teenager believe in happily ever after.

After all, what could be more romantic than being saved from a rogue shopping cart by a guy with a charming smile and a bag of chips?

And as Euan led her towards the smoothie bar, Inna couldn't help but whisper to herself, "Tell me it's not a dream."

Inna was having a surprisingly good day. Her phone was finally dry, her jeans were patched (though they looked more like a patchwork quilt than a pair of pants), and she had managed to avoid any further shopping cart-related incidents. She was even enjoying the smoothie Euan had bought her, a delicious concoction of mango, pineapple, and a secret ingredient that Euan insisted was "a little bit of magic."

"So," Euan said, leaning back in his chair, his eyes twinkling with mischief. "Tell me about yourself, Inna. What do you do for fun?"

Inna took a sip of her smoothie, her mind still reeling from the whirlwind of events that had transpired in the past few hours. "Fun?" she echoed, her voice a little shaky. "I'm not sure I know how to have fun anymore."

Euan raised an eyebrow, his expression a mixture of concern and amusement. "What do you mean?" he asked, his voice gentle. "You're a teenager. You're supposed to be having fun."

Inna sighed, her shoulders slumping with a wave of self-pity. "I know," she said, her voice barely a whisper. "But it feels like everything is just...blah. School is boring, my friends are all drama queens, and my family is driving me crazy."

Euan reached out and gently took her hand, his touch sending a jolt of electricity through her entire being. "Don't worry," he said, his voice soft and reassuring. "Life isn't always blah. It just takes finding the right things to make it exciting."

Inna stared at him, her heart pounding a frantic rhythm against her ribs. He was so different from anyone she had ever met before. He was kind, funny, and somehow, he made her feel like anything was possible.

"What do you do for fun?" she asked, her voice a little quieter than she intended.

Euan smiled, a warm, genuine smile that made her stomach flutter. "Fun?" he said, his eyes twinkling. "I do all sorts of things. I play guitar, I write music, I go on adventures."

Inna raised an eyebrow, her curiosity piqued. "Adventures?" she asked, her voice tinged with skepticism. "Like what kind of adventures?"

Euan chuckled, a sound that echoed through the smoothie bar. "Oh, you know," he said, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "The usual stuff. Exploring abandoned buildings, climbing trees, finding hidden treasures."

Inna laughed, a sound that surprised even her. "You're kidding, right?" she asked, her voice filled with amusement.

Euan shook his head, his smile widening. "Not at all," he said. "Life is an adventure, Inna. You just have to know where to look."

Inna stared at him, her mind racing. He was making her feel like she was missing out on something, something exciting and exhilarating. Something that could change her life.

"So," she said, her voice a little breathless. "What kind of adventure are you on right now?"

Euan leaned closer, his eyes locking with hers. "This is the adventure," he said, his voice a low murmur. "Meeting you, Inna. This is the most exciting thing that's ever happened to me."

Inna's heart skipped a beat. He was looking at her like she was the most amazing thing he had ever seen. And for a moment, she felt like she was.

"Tell me it's not a dream," she whispered, her voice barely audible above the chatter of the smoothie bar.

Euan smiled, his eyes filled with a warmth that made her feel like she was melting. "It's not a dream, Inna," he said, his voice soft and reassuring. "This is real."

And as he reached out and took her hand again, Inna couldn't help but believe him. This was real. This was the start of something amazing. This was the start of an adventure that would change her life forever.

And as she looked into Euan's eyes, she knew that she would never forget this day, the day she met the boy who made her believe in magic again.

The day she met the boy who made her believe in happily ever after.
