Jimin woke to the sound of a soft, rhythmic creaking. His eyes fluttered open, adjusting to the dim light filtering through a small, high window. He was still in the unfamiliar room, the same oppressive silence enveloping him.
A figure stood by the window, their silhouette casting long, ominous shadows on the wall. Jimin's heart pounded in his chest as he tried to make out their features. The figure turned, their face illuminated by the sliver of moonlight. It was the same man from the previous night, his eyes cold and calculating.
"Good morning, Jimin," he said, his voice a low growl. "I trust you slept well."
Jimin remained silent, his mind racing. He tried to recall the events of the previous night, but his memory was hazy. The man's words had been so disturbing, so... possessive. He couldn't shake the feeling that he was trapped in a nightmare.
"I have a proposition for you," the man continued. "One that will benefit both of us."
Jimin's eyes narrowed. "What kind of proposition?"
"A simple one," the man replied.
"You will obey me without question, and in return, I will keep you safe."
"Safe?" Jimin scoffed. "From whom?"
The man's smile was chilling. "From yourself."
Jimin felt a shiver run down his spine. He didn't understand what the man meant, but he knew he didn't like it. He tried to think of a way to escape, but the room was empty, save for a small bed and a nightstand.
"I don't trust you," Jimin said, his voice barely a whisper.
The man's expression darkened. "You have no choice," he replied, his tone laced with menace. "You are mine now."
Jimin felt a surge of anger. He wasn't going to let this man control him. He stood up, his heart pounding in his chest.
"No," he said firmly. "I won't."
The man's eyes narrowed. "Very well," he said, his voice dripping with contempt. "We'll see about that."
As Jimin braced himself for whatever was to come, he knew that he was in for a fight. A fight for his freedom, and for his very life.
The man stepped forward, his movements fluid and predatory. Jimin backed away, his heart pounding in his chest. He tried to find a way to defend himself, but there was nothing within reach.
Just as the man was about to close the distance between them, Jimin spotted a small, broken piece of glass on the floor. He lunged for it, grabbing it with his fingers.
The man froze, his eyes widening in surprise. He didn't expect Jimin to fight back.
"Don't come any closer," Jimin warned, holding the broken glass in front of him like a weapon.
The man hesitated, his face a mask of confusion and anger. He knew that if he got too close, Jimin could seriously injure him.
"You're making a mistake," he said, his voice low and menacing. "I can make your life a living hell."
Jimin didn't flinch. "Try it," he said defiantly.
The man took a step forward, his eyes fixed on the broken glass. Jimin held his ground, his grip tightening on the jagged piece.
Just as the man was about to lunge, Jimin heard a noise from outside. It sounded like someone was trying to break into the room.
The man's eyes darted towards the window. "Someone's here," he hissed.
Jimin didn't need to be told twice. He turned and ran towards the window, pushing it open with all his might. He leapt out, landing on the ground below.
He looked up just in time to see the man break the window and climb out. Jimin turned and ran, his heart pounding in his chest. He knew he couldn't outrun the man, but he had to try.
