Chapter 4

𝓒𝓱𝓪𝓹𝓽𝓮𝓻 4

My eyes were filled with tears...

As I saw a feather of Celestina near the altars lychgate. The keeper of light said Celestina passed away when I unconscious but I know he was lying.

I left my dorm to attend my 𝒵𝒶𝓊𝒷ℯ𝓇ℯ𝓇 𝒞𝓁𝒶𝓈𝓈, I've wasted my whole time staring. My sanity was corrupted by the incident where did Celestina go?

Time sure is fast, I suddenly found myself sitting and looking at our Chronicle teacher (history class)

"𝐍𝐨𝐰 𝐠𝐨 𝐭𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐬 𝐦𝐲 𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬"

I prepared my monograph and tried to be attentive, my mind was still in a great shudder.

Celestina wouldn't leave me like that, we've been together for ages.

"𝐋𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧 𝐧𝐨𝐰, 𝐈'𝐥𝐥 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐏𝐡𝐞𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐱"

One of my fellow guardians raised his hand, his mind seemed hungry for knowledge.

"𝐖𝐚𝐬 𝐢𝐭 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐏𝐡𝐞𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐱 𝐟𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐢𝐧 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐞?"

"𝐘𝐞𝐬, 𝐈𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐞"

My fellow guardians started murmuring about the chronicle of The Great Phoenix and The Great Guardian.

Great Guardian? Could it be?

I immediately raised my hand to ask the question that's bothering my mind.

"𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮'𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐏𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐚"

The whole crowd laugh from what our lecturer said

"𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐦𝐲 𝐥𝐚𝐝𝐲, 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐆𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐰𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐚 𝐠𝐥𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐬𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐤 𝐬𝐡𝐞'𝐬 𝐚 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐭 𝐬𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐬𝐞𝐞 𝐨𝐧𝐞'𝐬 𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐆𝐨𝐝𝐬."

My fellow Guardians were astonished from what they've heard, it seems that everyone knows her.

"𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐦𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐆𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐧"

"𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐬 𝐦𝐲 𝐥𝐚𝐝𝐲?"

Our lecturer pause for a bit, I saw his expression shift. He slowly sat on his chair

Half of me wants him to stop but my ears are pierced by curiosity.

He left a sigh and started to walk slowly. He threw ashes in the bowl of chronicle and saw the day where it happened.

One of my fellow Guardian exclaimed

I raised my hand, my sanity was seeking answers from the riddle that socked in my mind.

"𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐲 𝐛𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐬 𝐩𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐚?"

"𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐧'𝐭 𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐯𝐞?"

I saw his expression change...

I was right

The last sentence he said wasn't a lie...

Those phrases terrified us but one thing is on my mind, Half of his words were fictions, and The woman who devoured the tremendous keepers is the lady who visited me on my dream.
