After crying to her hearts content she wiped her tears and took out the big glass shrads stuck in her hand

she wrapped her hand with a handkerchief and drove to the hospital

She had no expression of pain on her face so everyone in the hospital staff thought that she was here to visit her best friend and hospital leader, Ms Stella

Juniper directly went to Stella's chamber and went in without a knock

When I heard my door open without being knocked I knew my best friend was here

"hey ice queen" I greeted

"hey drama queen" she greeted back with a smile

Junipers smile was precious since she smiled only to a few people and I was lucky to be in that group

I could do anything for that smile of hers

"What can I do for Ms Wilson today?" I asked her sarcastically

"You can do your duty and treat her wound Dr Stella" she said mocking me back but it wasn't funny anymore

I knew she wouldn't joke about her wound

"show me" I said

She showed me her right hand which was wrapped in a white handkerchief stained with blood I carefully removed the handkerchief to see glass shrads peirce deep in her hand

"are you an idiot how can you be so careless? Don't you even care about regenia and aspen?" I shouted at her

"it's because of them I am here" she replied casually

My heart pained to see her like this the girl who used to cry seeing others cry now didn't even flinch when she was shot

I sighed giving up

I took her hand and carefully removed the shrads of glass with a plucker then cleaned and bandaged the wound

"done you need to take pain killers for 3 days" I said and started to write down her medication

"no need for that" she said and walked out

This girl is too lifeless

I thought and went back to my work

Junipers POV

after meeting Stella I went home

As soon as I entered I knew something was wrong the guards around the mansion were more than usual

As I entered I was greeted by Carlson he is the butler of the former king

The former king was known for his ruthless and cunning ways

But now he saw me as his grand daughter and asked her to call him grandpa

When I entered I saw grandpa with Regina and aspen he was smiling and playing with them and Prince our golden retriver

"hello grandpa" I said to him

As soon as aspen and Regina heard my voice they came up running to me

"mom great grandpa is really nice" aspen said

"I know we will have our dinner with him today but right now go to your room"

They nodded and started racing to see who reached first

"they are intelligent and well mannered" grandpa said

I smiled aspen and Regina were my pride and joy also the only reason I am living

"you have a mission" he said suddenly

"where this time?"
