Episode 5

Tomorrow in the morning. "soo-ah, soo-ah, wake up soo-ah" gun-woo shook my shoulder lightly "ugh...stop it" I removed his hand and turned to the other side "wake up or else we're gonna be late, today we have the exams" he took off the blanket and pulled me by my arm. "exams!" I opened my eyes wide and got up in a second, I pushed gun-woo away and ran to the bathroom. I washed my face, teeth and brushed my hair, and got dressed and then I ran to the kitchen to eat some food, while I was eating standing I saw gun-woo sitting in the table and enjoying his food, "what are you doing eat faster we are getting late" I spoke with my mouth full "what's the rush, why don't you sit down like everyone else and eat your food, you still have time to go to school" my mom said, while gun-woo and my sister laughed at me, I looked at the time and it was 7:15, I looked at gun-woo but he avoided the eye contact and started eating his food, "you.." I grabbed him by his hair and he yelled in pain, "what are you doing, have you lost it" my mom pulled me away, "why did you wake me up so early?" I yelled, annoyed at him, "you should be thankful to me or else you would be late again and you wouldn't be able to get inside the class for the exam, and as for me I would leave without you" he said, "how good it would be if you would be here every day to wake her up. You have no idea what it takes to wake her up. My morning starts with yelling to wake her up, sometimes my throat hurts from all the yelling" my mom complained, "I understand you auntie, I saw it today how hard is for you" gun-woo smiled and looked at me "whatever" I whispered and took a bite. After we finished our food, we left the house and went to school. We arrived at school and entered our classrooms, the teacher gave us the exam papers and we all started writing. And so we did one exam after another, and then the lunch break came. "thank god, we're taking a break" I stretched my arms. I, ji-hoon and kyung-mi went to the cafeteria, took our food and sat down where min-ji and gun-woo were, "so how you guys did, were the exams hard?" Min-ji asked us, "no they weren't that hard, I finished all the questions" kyung-mi said, "I don't know, I think made some mistakes at the math and history exams" Ji-hoon said,  "as for me I finished all the questions to the exams and I hope i gave the right answer to each question and no mixed them up" I crossed my fingers, "what about you two?" Ji-hoon asked them "well, the geography it was a bit hard, since I didn't study much, but I think I answered all the questions right" gun-woo said, "the English exam was a bit hard for me but I think I did great" she smiled. We ate the food and the classes began again. After some hours of writing and thinking we finished all the exams. "Wohoo, finally we are done with studing, no more stress, no more studying day and night" min-ji jumped like a happy bunny in the school hallway, "so what do you guys wanna do today?" I asked them and started walking backwards facing them, "well I thought we could go to the cinema, there's a new movie I've wanted to watch so bad" ji-hoon said, while ji-hoon was talking I bumped to someone, I turned around and it was taeyang "it's this your new way of walking? I think you should walk like everyone or else you'll bump at someone again and you might break your leg because not everyone would hold you from falling" he said and walked a bit and then he turned his head and said "and I think you should lose some weight, you're too heavy" he smiled and walked, while walking he glared at kyung-mi and kyung-mi looked at the floor, "what's his deal? And what if I'm heavy, it has nothing to do with him" I said annoyed, "hey do you really think I'm heavy?" I whispered to gun-woo "no, of course not" he ruffled my hair "oh really, then can you give me a piggyback" I jumped at his back and he fell on his knees "hey you should've warned me" he said and got up with me on his back "wow you're so strong" I said to him "I'm working on my abs already" he whispered at me, "ya stop it" I lightly slapped his head and he started to laugh, "I want a piggyback too" min-ji said and went to ji-hoon "Ji-hoon wound you give me a piggyback ride?" "What are you crazy?" Ji-hoon said "oh come on, please" min-ji made the puppy face "stop it min-ji, he's barely holding his bag" I said "oh is that so" ji-hoon immediately took off his bag from the back and he put it on from the front and got down for min-ji to get on his back, "hey what do you think, do you wanna have a race?" Gun-woo smirked at ji-hoon "of course" Ji-hoon smirked too, "ok then the loser will buy the tickets and the food and drinks for all of us" kyung-mi said and they nodded in agreement, "3,2,1 go" kyung-mi yelled, "let's go" gun-woo yelled and started running and so did ji-hoon, while kyung-mi left with his bike. I and gun-woo were a bit ahead from them "hey no need to force yourself, you can stop now or run slowly, don't worry about the money we'll share" I said to gun-woo "what no I'm not doing this for the money, or either I'm forcing myself, this is how I normally run" he said "for real? This is your normal speed of running? Even tho I'm in your back?" "yeah, having you in my back it doesn't make me slower bc you don't weigh too much, you're very light" he said at that moment my heart skipped a beat. Finally we saw kyung-mi waiting for us at the end of the road, we arrived to the 'finish line' and waited for ji-hoon and min-ji, "ho, dude that really was a work out" gun-woo said. Then after two or three minutes ji-hoon and min-ji arrived, "dude how did you do it? Do you work out or something?" Ji-hoon said breathing heavily "well I do run sometimes and every monday in the morning" gun-woo looked at me "why are you looking at me? I'm the reason why you're so good at running, you may even win a marathon because of me" I praised myself, and all started laughing. After that we all went to the cinema and ji-hoon payed for the food and min-ji payed for the ticket because she felt bad to let ji-hoon to pay for everything since she was on his back and got him tired. We watched the movie and after that we all went to our houses. I was watching tv with my sister and I wanted to eat something, I got up and checked the fridge but there was nothing, "we have no more snacks" I said to my sister "go to the convenience store and buy something to eat" my sister said, "ok then do you want anything?" "of course I want, are you doing do buy only for yourself?" my sister said "well I was going to buy only for myself but since I'm a nice person I'll buy for you too" I went to her and I held out my hand in front of her, "what?" she looked at me confused "the money what else, I'm going to buy so you have to pay" I told her "ok fine" she gave me the money and I left the house. I went to the convening store and bought some stuff and then I was on my way back home. While I was walking I heard some boys cursing, they were probably beating someone, I didn't want to get involved so I started walking, "stop it please" I stopped when I heard a familiar voice, I went back and got a little bit closer and it was taeyang and he was beating kyung-mi "YAAA..." I yelled so hard that the whole neighbour could hear me, I ran to him and pushed him so hard "what the heck are you doing? Have you lost it? Why are you beating him? What did he do to you?" I yelled at him, he did say anything he just kept looking at me, "are you ok kyung-mi?" I checked him, his face was covered in bruises just like gun-woo's, I got up and pushed and pushed him until his back hit the wall, and I slapped him "why,why,why,whyyyyy" I yelled as I was crying "why are you doing this to them, first gun-woo and now kyung-mi then who's gonna be next ji-hoon?" I looked at him with anger and hate, "enough now soo-ah, there's no point talking to him, let's just go" kyung-mi got up, and I helped him and than glared at taeyang with hate and we left. "Are you going home like that?" I asked kyung-mi and he nodded "but your family would be worried or mad after they see you like this" I said at him "well I can't do anything, I'm just gonna tell them what happened" "by the way why he did that to you? I don't get it?" I asked him "well this is not the first time he beat me up" kyung-mi said "what? he has done this to you other times?" I looked shocked at him "yes, do you remember that i didn't come at school for a week" "yes" "it was because he beat me and I couldn't come at school because of my bruises" he said "was he the reason that you didn't speak to me when you came back to school?" I hoped he would say no but he nodded and didn't say anything. We arrived in front of his house, "so does this means you're not coming to school for another week?" I questioned him "yep, but if my bruises heal faster I don't need to skip the school" he smiled, my eyes got teary "I'm so sorry" "hey what are you sorry for, it's not your fault" kyung-mi laughed a little "it is my fault, cause I’m the reason he's attacking you guys" I cried "hey stop or else people will think I made you cry" he wiped my tears "now give me a big smile" he told me and  i smile a little "bigger, bigger, bigger" than he started to tickling me and I brusted into laughter "ok, stop it now" I said "that's more like it" he said and patted my head "go home now" he said and I left. Tomorrow at school, we're having lunch and min-ji asked "what about kyung-mi didn't he came at school today?" "Oh no he told me yesterday that he was sick and won't come to school for some days" I said "I hope he gets better soon" min-ji said, at that moment I saw taeyang with his friends, I kept glaring at him the whole time, "hey what are you looking at?" Ji-hoon said "huh? Oh nothing I was just thinking about something" I said "about what?" Gun-woo said "about the exams results" I said. After the lunch break all the students were going to their classes, I looked outside the window and taeyang class had P.E, "hey aren't you coming to class" Ji-hoon said, "yeah I'm coming,but you go first, cause I need to go to the bathroom" I told him and I walked toward the bathroom, I looked outside to see if anyone was in the hallway but everyone were in their classrooms, then I got outside and I sat down on the stairs looking at them playing, "hey what are you doing there, come here" the teacher called me and I went to him "are you at this class?" "Umm...I-i" "if you're not, I'm taking you to your classroom" he said "no,no I am from this class" I said "oh really then why aren't you with your friends?" He said "well, I can't play I am not feeling well" I lied to him "oh ok I understand you can't play, then sit there" he told me to sit and I sat down on the stairs, I opened my phone and watched a k-drama bc watching them play was boring, and the hour passed like that, taeyang's class were walking on the stairs to go inside, I grabbed taeyang's hand and stopped him "we need to talk" I said to him, I started walking and he after me "hey where are you going?" one of his friends said "I'll be back you guys go in first" he told his friends, and I brought him behind the school, "what do you want to talk about" he said with a smirk on his face "you know, every time i would see you, you would be surrounded by girls, you would flirt with them sometimes of treat them nice and I would think with myself 'he's such a good guy', or sometimes you would make someone do something for you but not completely bullying them, and I thought 'ok not everyone it's perfect, even he can be mean sometimes' that's what I thought about you I never thought you can the such a bad person" when I said the two last word his small smiled fainted "ok, if you want to be a bully you can make fun of people or prank them or made them do thing for you, but not to beat them up WITHOUT A REASON" I yelled out of anger "so if you're offered because that day, there's no need to bully my friends, they didn't do anything I was the one who spoke to you that way, and to think about it I didn't say anything bad, I just told you to get lost what's the big deal with that,huh?" I looked at him waiting for an answer but the kept looking at the ground, "ok, if you say that I'm a bully and it's better to bully people by making them my servants and you don't want your friends to be bullied then from now on you're gonna be my personal servant" he said with a smirk "what?" I looked weirdly at him "what, isn't this what you said that I have to bully you and not your friends, so it's you or you friends, I'll let you think about it tonight and you can give me an answer tomorrow" he winked at me, I looked at him with disgust "you disgust me" I said, pushed him away and left. I went inside the class "sorry,sorry" I whispered to the teacher and sat down, "hey where were you the whole lesson?" Ji-hoon whispered "well I wanted to skip a class that's all" I whispered I bothered that I missed a class "why you told me to enter the class, we could skip the class together" he said but I didn't say anything I just raised my shoulders, "unbelievable" he said and looked at the teacher, "did the teacher asked about me?" I ask him "yep and I told her that you're not feeling well and went to the nurse office" he said while writing at the same time "you're the best" I hugged him. And the days passed like that it was the weekend, I was getting ready to go at min-ji's house for a sleepover, "mom in leaving" I said before getting out the house, I went in front of gun-woo and I rang the bell "coming" I heard gun-woo saying, "hey did you wait long?" he said when he was closing the door "no about two minutes" I said "ok then, let's go" he said and we went at min-ji's house, "heyy" I said when entered, ji-hoon and kyung-mi had come before us, "soo-aaah" min-ji's twin siblings came and hugged me "hi little chipmunks" I hugged them two "sorry guys but something came up and I had to babysit the twins" min-ji said "it's all right, we are gonna have so much fun together, isn't that right" I petted their heads and they giggled and nodded, and we played some board games and pillow fight since the twins were still awake, "ok now you two did you have fun?" min-ji said to her little siblings and they nodded their head "that's good now it's time for sleep" min-ji said "no we don't want to sleep, we aren't sleepy yet" her siblings said "you know what mom and dad said, you have to listen to me, so I'm saying it's time for you two to sleep" min-ji ordered them "I DONT WANT" they yelled at her and ran behind me "you two come here, how dare you not listen to me" she came towards me to get the twins "no we want to stay with soo-ah" one of the twins said, at that moment min-ji pulled the twins ear to send them to their room "ah,ah,ah it hurts ah,ah" one of them was holding my arm and wasn't letting go "hey why don't you let them say even for I bit" I told min-ji's "but-" "please sis please" the little twins begged to her "ok but just for a little bit, then you have to go and sleep" "yay" they started jumping, "so do you guys wanna watch a movie?" Min-ji said "yeah let's have a movie marathon" Ji-hoon said, the movie started, the lights were off and the twins were each on one of my side, they putted their heads on my lap and I lightly stroked their hair, after I while, I looked at the twins and they had fallen asleep, "hey" I whispered at min-ji and she looked at me and I pointed at the twins she saw them and smiled, i told her to help me remove their heads so I can get up and so she did, we putted pillows under their heads so they can sleep peacefully, I sat next to ji-hoon and he said "it must have been so relaxing being your head stroked" he sais and looked at the twins and so did I "I wanna try it too" he said and laid his head on my lap "ya get up you're not a kid" I pushed his head away, we were watching movie after movie, when kyung-mi said "we're out of snacks" "I thought I bought enough snacks" min-ji said "did you forgot that we have soo-ah and ji-hoon here "hey" I and ji-hoon said at the same time "well I'll go to the convenience store to buy some more" she got up "wait I'm coming too" I ran after her "it's pretty late so I'm coming with you two" gun-woo said and got up. We went to the convenience store and bought some snacks and we were our way home, there weren't much people outside, only some drunk man's, people who were celebrating on restaurants, and some people who were getting home from working late, we arrived home the door was open "did any of you left the door open when we left?" min-ji looked at me and gun-woo but we both shook our heads we went inside and there was no one the boys and the twins weren't in the living room, "where did the twins go?" Min-ji looked worried "don't worry maybe they're in their room" gun-woo said and she then she ran upstairs, after some seconds kyung-mi came in the living room "hey, did you guys move the twins in their room?" I asked him "no, why?" Kyung-mi looked confused, "they aren't in their room" min-ji came back with ji-hoon, "where were you?" Gun-woo asked angrily ji-hoon "in the bathroom" Ji-hoon answered confused, min-ji started to cry "hey don't cry we'll find them don't worry" I wiped her tears "yeah we need to find them" she said, we all got out and separated to search for the twins, I kept running and yelling their names but I didn't found them, and I kept searching about 25-30 minutes, while I was looking for them a man stopped me by my arm "hey are you looking for someone?" he was drunk "no thank you" I wanted to walk away but I couldn't because he had hold my wrist and wouldn't let it go "then why don't you come and drink something with me" he said and pulled me closer "no thanks" I tried to get his hans off but he was to strong even tho the was drunk "please let go" I told him "oh but why, you're such a pretty young lady why would I do that" the touched me face "HEY LET HER GO" I heard someone say I turned my head and it was gun-woo who was running towards us, he ran and kicked the man so hard that the man falled on the ground and didn't got up "are you alright?, did he do anything to you?" Gun-woo checked me if I was hurt "I'm okay, he didn't do anything to me thanks to you" I smiled at him "how can you smile in a situation like this, you should be traumatised" he looked at me with worried eyes "what should I do then cry" I said exactly what he said to me when he saw beaten by taeyang "stop with jokes now did you found the twins?" I asked him "no" he shook his head "where have they gone?" I looked around, I and gun-woo searched even for a little but we still did found them, and decided to go back hoping the others have found them. On the halfway we meet kyung-mi and min-ji "you guys found them?" Min-ji looked at us with hope but we shook our heads "god, where could they be" she putted her hand on her forehead and walked in circles "hey calm down let's go home and wait for ji-hoon maybe he found them" kyung-mi tried to give her hope, and we were on our way home when ji-hoon came running by an alley "you didn't found them either?" Min-ji said and started to cry, "hey who's there in front of your house" gun-woo tap min-ji on her shoulder  and he looked at her house, "I think they're the twins" I said and she started to run at them and they ran towards her "sissy" hey yelled happy , she bent down on her knees and hugged them both when we arrived we saw taeyang there, I saw so shocked (what is he doing here?) I thought "where did you guys go, why you left the house?, do you know how worried I was?" Min-ji asked them with tears falling on her face "we woke up and there was no one in the house so we got I little bit scared and we stayed in the couch without moving, we were watching the movie on the tv but it was a scary movie we got scare and ran away to look for you" one of the twins explained to her what happened "we're sorry sis so please stop crying now" and the other wiped her tears "no I'm sorry for letting you guys alone" she hugged them again, "but after you went outside where did you go and how you come back home?" I sat down at their level and asked them "we were walking on the street looking for sis but we couldn't found her, then we meet this brother and he told that he knows our sister and said that he will send us home and wait there with us for you sis" he said "thank you" min-ji got up at said to taeyang, he did say anything he just nodded once and then he looked at me I looked away, "let's go inside now" min-ji told her siblings "bye-bye big brother" they waved at taeyang with their little hands "bye-bye and good night" he smiled and waved at them and left, "let's go inside now" gun-woo said and we all went inside. "you guys from now on don't ever leave the house no matter what happens ok?, and don't follow the strangers even when they say that they know our family or when they other to help you ok? I'm gonna buy a phone for you guys, and you have to use that only when you need to call me mom or dad ok?" She said to her siblings "yes" they nodded "let's go to sleep now" she said but their didn't move a bit "we are scared to stay alone" they said "hey do you guys want to sleep with me here on the floor" I said "yes" they immediately ran to me, we all got up and made our beds on the floor and we all laid down to sleep one of the twins sleep beside me hugging me and one was sleeping with kyung-mi "what a day huh" Ji-hoon said "yeah the worst" min-ji said "from now on we will never have a sleep over at your house" I said laughing "never ever" min-ji laughed too, and then we all falled asleep.
