It is a bright day. That beautiful sun that enters through my window makes my day special.

"Yesabel, wake up, sleepyhead," her mother shouts.

"That's the beautiful and sweet voice of my mother calling me," says Yesabel.

When Yesabel gets up, she goes to the bathroom, takes a shower, washes her long brown hair, while letting the water run down her body. She is a well-proportioned young woman, with curves in all the right places, beautiful honey eyes, and full lips, neither thin nor thick.

She finishes her bath and dresses in black pants and a pink shirt. She puts her hair up in a high ponytail. She doesn't wear makeup, and she puts on some low sandals.

She arrives at the dining room and greets her parents and brother.

"Honey, you have to ask for the weekend off at the hospital," says her mother, Mildred.

"Yes, Mom, I've already arranged with Beti to cover my shift," replies Yesabel.

"Honey, we know you don't like going to the pack, but as you know, it's our obligation to go," says her father.

They go through the different areas of the hospital, where the young doctors are doing their residency.

Yesabel and Betina are in pediatrics. When they arrive, they give their report on the children in their care.

"Hector is recovering from an appendectomy. He has no fever and his operation is healing well," says Yesabel.

"Very good, Miss Carter," says the doctor.

"Romina is about to be discharged. Her recovery is very good. The antibiotics have worked as expected," says Beatriz.

"Very good, Miss Lopez," says the chief resident.

When the tour is over, it is time to assign the emergency shifts. Yesabel had already arranged with her friend to cover for her on the weekend.

The consultation day was quiet for the two friends. At the end of the day, Yesabel returns home.

"Honey, are you alright?" asks Mildred, her mother.

"Yes, Mom, I'm just tired," replies Yesabel, going up to her room.

Her mother looks at her. Her daughter is very energetic, so this sudden tiredness is strange to her.

"Mom, calm down. You know perfectly well what Yesabel is like," says Ivan, Yesabel's older brother.

"You're right about that. Is your house in the pack ready?" Mildred asks her son.

"Yes, Mom, I spoke to Alpha Donovan, but I prefer to stay at our house in the pack," Ivan replies.

"I'm going to miss you so much, son," says Mildred.

Meanwhile, in her room, Yesabel has a conversation with her supernatural side.

"Naia, what's going on?" asks Yesabel.

"Friend, I don't know. I feel strange," replies Naia.

"I'll be aware, friend," says Yesabel.

After a shower, Yesabel lies down on her bed. At dinner time, her mother calls her.

At dinner, the family talks about their day.

"How was your day, honey?" asks Cristian, Yesabel's father.

"Good, Dad, everything's fine," replies Yesabel.

"And you, Ivan, how are the preparations for moving permanently to the pack going?" says Cristian.

"Everything's fine, Dad. The house Alpha Donovan assigned me is ready, although I prefer to live in our house in the pack," replies Ivan.

"As you wish, son," says his father, Cristian.

Mildred has remained silent while her husband talks to their children. She was sad to have to part with her eldest son, but understands that it is time for his father to rest. He has been the pack's delta for many years.

After dinner and cleaning up, they go up to their rooms to rest.

In another country…

"Cosmo, what's wrong with you? You're driving me crazy," asks Derek.

"I don't know, old man. It's a strange feeling," replies the wolf.

"Stop pacing. You're making me dizzy," says Derek.

"I want to find my mate," says Cosmo.

"Friend, we've been searching for so many years that I've lost hope," replies Derek.

"My hope was renewed now that Marion found her destined one," says the wolf.

"May the moon goddess hear you, my friend," replies Derek.

"Dad, are you alright?" asks Maximo, Derek's eldest son.

"Yes, son. Are you ready for what awaits you as alpha?" replies Derek.

"Patrick and I have spoken. When I take over, he will take care of the business," says Maximo.

"Your brother is good with business," replies Derek.

"Dad, Astrid and Calista will go with us. Noha is staying in the pack," says Maximo.

"That's for the best, son. Come on, we have to leave, or we won't make it to the New Moon pack," says Derek.

The great alpha's private jet is ready and waiting for the family and the new members who have joined them.

They are all going to the New Moon pack for the change of command. Alpha Donovan is handing over his position to his son, Taylor.

"Welcome," says Donovan, shaking hands with Derek and his eldest son, who is accompanied by his wife and mate, Astrid, and their daughter, Calista.

"Thank you, Alpha Donovan," replies Derek. Everyone gets into the vans to head to the New Moon pack.

Cosmo, Derek's wolf, is very restless. This makes Derek somewhat uncomfortable. When they arrive at the pack, they are lodged on the second floor, which is reserved for guests and their entourage.
