It's the rain

I woke up to the alarm next to me. I got refreshed and went down to have my breakfast.

Mom prepared my favorIte honey pancakes for me, I totally devoured into it😋..

I left for school immediately, after reaching the school, lexy joined me and we started to chat about last night's party.

When we entered our classroom everyone was writing down some homework in hurry.

I then remembered that there was homework to be done and submitted today.i totally forgot about it and had a lot to complete it. It was the maths work which i'm very poor at🫠.

Lexy started to help me do my work. After a long time of struggling with the problems, I was at the end of completing my homework.

But as always the one last sum was so tough that I couldn't get the rIght answer to It. it was time for the class to begin, so I was getting more and more nervous.

Dillon saw me from his desk and tried to ask me what the problem was. I told him about the sum I wasn't getting, and he immediately handed his work to me and helped me with it.

Just as I was fInished, the teacher had come and asked every onee of us to put down our homework on her desk. I submitted my copy too at the right time 😀. Then I sighed with relief…

After the class ended, we had our lunch break. Lexy and I sat together at one place as usual we do. Dillon and his friends always sat at the place just behind us as always. I used to always sit facing him not even losing a single chance of getting a glimpse of him ☺️

We were chatting with each other when suddenly my eyes met his and I immediately turned my face away blushing. Hoping I wasn't caught peeping at him, started eating quickly and giving fake smiles and chatting with Lexy. Then I slowly looked back at Dillon to check if he didn't recognize my crazy act.

When I turned up to look at Dillon he was staring at me with a smile. We made eye contact again. Dillon waved his hand to me saying "hi". I, too, waved back to him and silently started having my meal.

We went back to our classroom and the classes were being done as usual. Whole the atmosphere was slowly getting cloudy and was so windy outside. All the windows were shattering with the stormy wind. It's the end of the class that the rain has started, and we all got struck in the school. When I looked out for my car outside, I couldn't find my car. When I called my driver what the problem was he explained saying it could take some time to come over and pick me as there was a hurdle reaching the school.

I had no other option but to wait for my car to arrive. I decided to stay back in my classroom till then. Lexy already left with her parents who came to pick her. i realised i was the only girl left out in here, started to search for some way to pass the time.
