Chapter 3

It has been two weeks since Eric(my younger brother) visited me and ever since then I have been feeling weird. I can't just shake off that feeling, I am presently in my room cleaning up which is something I hardly do so I decided to dedicate this day for it. After I finished I decided I was going to stroll and catch any luck that comes my way.

Finally, I was outside listening to the busy streets noise all of a sudden I heard someone shouting "ahhhhhhh, I saw him, he was there, he was looking at me he....he" the woman who was lying on the ground screaming in top of her lungs said she looked so scattered making it look like she us a mad woman, her hair flying wildly and beads of sweat all over her body. The police came around and were investigating the case, I felt uninterested, I mean everyone here did,so I didn't bother to ask what happened, so I just left the area.

It was getting late so I went back home. i decided to take a short way back home so I went through the narrow dark road. I was walking so confidently and dancing on my way when I felt the hairs on my back rise up indicating someone was behind me, I turned back to look but I didn't see anything, I knew anything could happen at this time in the dark alley but I just didn't care an I started walking again when I felt a gush blow past me, i turned around again looking for the thing or person but couldn't find anything. I thought I was hallucinating because I pass here everyday well not really everyday actually and nothing has ever gone wrong but even though I am still gonna take the risk so I just ignored it and walked gracefully away leaving that dark creepy passage. I reached home and slept immediately.

The next morning

I woke up feeling positive about today, the warm sunshine welcoming me, I got up and went straight to my laptop as I switched it on and after loading, I went straight to my email and opened the message, " yesssssssssssss, OMG I can't believe this yayyyyyy" I screamed happily, I'm so excited. I have finally been accepted as a medical doctor who wouldn't want a professional like me huh I can't wait to tell this news to everybody hehe. I read further and realised that the interview was in two days time, guess I have to go shopping then, I won't wear something casual for the interview.

I left my house feeling so happy, smiling at anybody I saw, I reached the store and looked for the best looking professional clothe I could afford. After getting what I wanted I went to get my dinner. " two take away please" I told the waiter " sure" he replied, he handed me the bag and I paid and left. i reached home and realised the front door was widely open " wth, who dares to do this how did the person even open the door, I was sure I closed it well this person sure has the audacity to........" I was cut off when I heard a voice that I dreaded to hear said "hello sissy" .
