Carmen's POV

I'm awestruck, my mate is the most stunning and handsome boy I've seen.

And his scent, dear god I can't, he smells like heaven and happiness. However, he didn't smell like an alpha. There are two types of scent, the ranking scent and the personal scent is unique, everyone has their own scent, then you have the ranking scent, that ranks you as a creature, omegas have a hint of metal in their ranking scent, l couldn't control the growl that came out of my throat.

l went to him immediately and took his hand in mine. Sparks, tingles, call it whatever you want but if I get this warm and fussy inside by just touching her hands l imagine how kissing him, holding him and marking him must feel like.

Anna doesn't stop putting those images in my head, so I shut her off before I do something that I'd have to regret.

He left the canteen light speed. I left following him and let Anna take control as she whimpers, we ran into the woods deep to the heart of the forest and where l let out a whimper and howl of pain. As we're thinking our mate is rejecting us.

l found him sitting by the lake crying, my heart was breaking as I heard him cry.

Did l make him cry, l asked myself.

I don't know, responded Anna.

l lunged at my mate and hugged him. I was holding him tight as l was afraid he was going to leave me again.

l am sorry! I am sorry!, forgive me?

Why are you apologizing? He asked.

You are crying because of me right? I am sorry, don't cry my heart hurts seeing you cry.

What are you talking about? Where did you get the idea that I am crying because of you, he asked me?

Why are you crying then, you left when I was still talking to you, l said.

l thought that you were going to reject me since I am not an alpha but a weak omega, he said.

Wait, you know that you are my mate, l asked?

Yes, I am older than you, l knew you were my mate two years ago.

Then why would you not tell me, l asked

I thought you were going to reject me, he said.

What!! Why would I reject my mate? I didn't know he left because of that, l agree l was disappointed when I found out that he is an omega.

Because I am not strong like James, l am not an alpha. I am a weak omega, he said while crying. I swear he is such a crybaby. I should change his mind.l was thinking of kissing him and I did.

Third person's pov

Carmen could not help but moan when Xander nibbled her lower lips until he entered his tougues in intertwined and battled at each other for dominance as their taste mixed with each, making a sweeter taste of love added by their overflowing love for each other which they tired so hard to conceal.
