Chapter 2 : Culture Shock

Suho woke up to the sound of Lumina humming a gentle tune. He turned to see her sleeping beside him, her pink hair sprawled across the pillow. He rubbed his eyes, wondering if he was still dreaming.

As Lumina woke up, Suho quickly got out of bed and began his morning routine. Lumina watched with wide eyes, fascinated by the human world.

At breakfast, Suho taught Lumina how to use chopsticks and eat Korean-style food. She struggled, and Suho couldn't help but laugh at her clumsiness.

After breakfast, Suho showed Lumina how to clean the dishes and make her bed. She listened intently, eager to learn.

As the day went on, Suho realized that having Lumina around wasn't so bad. She was annoyingly cheerful, but her innocence and kindness were growing on him.

But as they sat down for dinner, Suho's phone rang. It was his ex-girlfriend, Jung Hana. Suho's expression turned cold, and Lumina sensed the tension.

Suho hesitated, unsure whether to answer the call. Lumina, sensing his unease, asked, "Master, who is it?"

Suho sighed and answered, "It's my ex-girlfriend, Jung Hana."

Lumina's eyes widened with curiosity. "Ex-girlfriend?"

Suho nodded and picked up the call. Jung Hana's voice was sweet, but Suho knew better. "Suho, darling, I miss you. Can we meet up?"

Suho's expression turned cold. "What do you want, Hana?"

Lumina watched, fascinated by the exchange. She had never seen Suho interact with someone from his past before.

After a brief conversation, Suho hung up, his expression dark. Lumina asked, "Master, what's wrong?"

Suho shook his head. "Nothing, Lumina. Just an old acquaintance."

Lumina sensed there was more to it but didn't press the issue. Instead, she changed the subject. "Master, can you teach me more about the human world?"

Suho's expression softened, and he smiled wryly. "Of course, Lumina. Let's watch a movie together."

As they watched a romantic comedy, Lumina giggled at the silly antics on screen. Suho couldn't help but chuckle, feeling a sense of normalcy for the first time in years.

But as the night wore on, Suho's thoughts drifted back to Jung Hana and their complicated past. Little did he know, their encounter was only the beginning of a tangled web of relationships and emotions.

Suho and Lumina spent the next few days exploring the city together. Lumina marveled at the human world, and Suho found himself enjoying her company.

One day, while they were shopping, they ran into Jung Hana. She flirted shamelessly with Suho, making Lumina's eyes narrow.

"Suho, darling, it's been too long," Jung Hana said, batting her eyelashes.

Suho's expression turned cold. "Hana, what do you want?"

Lumina watched, sensing a hint of jealousy within herself. She didn't understand why Suho's interaction with Jung Hana made her feel uncomfortable.

As they parted ways, Lumina asked, "Master, who is she to you?"

Suho's expression softened. "Just an old acquaintance, Lumina. Don't worry about it."

But Lumina couldn't shake off the feeling. She didn't know what it was, but she felt a pang of possessiveness towards Suho.
