The Fairy's Master
Kim Suho stood at the edge of the Han River Bridge, the city lights twinkling below like stars. His life had been a never-ending cycle of misfortune, and he couldn't see a reason to continue. His parents' death, his relatives' rejection, the orphanage director's abuse... the memories haunted him. He muttered, "Pathetic..." as he gazed out at the river.
Just as Suho was about to take the leap, a gentle voice whispered in his ear, "I can't let you die! You need to live, your life is precious!" A pair of soft arms wrapped around him, holding him tight. Suho turned to face his savior, and his eyes widened in surprise. A girl with pink hair like cotton candy and delicate wings stood before him. Her star-shaped pupils shone with kindness.
Suho's mind reeled as the girl introduced herself as Lumina, a fairy from the Light Fairy Kingdom. She explained that she was his master's fairy, and he couldn't die because his life was precious. Suho's skepticism faltered as he gazed at Lumina's wings, wondering if they were real. But the girl's genuine concern and warmth touched his heart, and he felt a spark of hope.
Suho's eyes widened as Lumina's wings fluttered gently, their pink hue glowing softly in the night light. He stumbled backward, his mind racing with questions. "W-wings? Are those real?" He couldn't believe his eyes.
Lumina nodded, a gentle smile on her face. "Yes, they're real. I'm a fairy, and you're my master." She held out her hand, and Suho hesitated before taking it.
As they walked to Suho's small apartment, Lumina chattered excitedly about her duties as a fairy and her desire to become the fairy queen. Suho listened, still trying to wrap his head around the situation.
Upon arriving at the apartment, Suho's gaze fell upon Lumina's revealing outfit, and he felt a flush rise to his cheeks. "Uh, can you... change into something else?" he asked gruffly.
Lumina's eyes sparkled with delight. "Of course, Master! I'll grant your first wish!" With a wave of her hand, her clothes transformed into a modest human outfit.
Suho's eyes widened in surprise, and he quickly looked away, trying to hide his embarrassment. "Thanks... I guess."
Lumina's laughter echoed through the room, and Suho's heart skipped a beat. He wasn't sure what to make of this strange, wonderful creature who had entered his life.
Gladd you asked! Here's Chapter 1, Part 3:
As the night wore on, Suho found himself growing more and more accustomed to Lumina's presence. She flitted about his apartment, exploring every nook and cranny with wide eyes and a childlike sense of wonder. Suho watched her, a mixture of fascination and trepidation swirling in his chest.
As he observed Lumina, he began to notice the little things about her - the way her hair sparkled in the dim light, the way her wings fluttered even when she wasn't flying, the way her smile could light up an entire room.
Despite himself, Suho felt a pang of attraction. He quickly pushed it aside, telling himself he was being ridiculous. She was a fairy, after all. A creature from a completely different world.
But as he looked into her shining eyes, he couldn't help but feel drawn to her. Maybe it was her innocence, her pure joy in the simple things. Maybe it was the way she looked at him, like he was the only person in the world.
Whatever it was, Suho knew he had to be careful. He couldn't let himself get too caught up in this strange, magical world. He had to keep his feet on the ground.
As the night drew to a close, Lumina settled onto the couch beside him, her eyes drooping sleepily. Suho hesitated for a moment before offering her a blanket, which she accepted with a grateful smile.
As they sat there in silence, Suho couldn't help but wonder what the future held for them. Would he ever be able to go back to his normal life, or had Lumina's arrival changed everything forever?
To be continued...
