The night was eerily quiet, with the full moon casting a cold, silvery glow on the empty streets. The wind whispered through the trees, their branches swaying like skeletal hands reaching out into the darkness. Shadows stretched long and distorted under the pale moonlight, and the silence was so deep that even the faintest sound seemed to echo.
Naina stood alone in the middle of the road, her once soft, tear-streaked face now twisted with despair. Her eyes, hollow and bloodshot, locked onto the moon as if it held the answers to all her pain. The cold asphalt beneath her feet mirrored the emptiness she felt inside. She looked like a ghost—pale, broken, and lost. The world around her seemed to close in, suffocating her with memories of all the love she had never received and the betrayal that had destroyed her.
Naina falls to her knees in the middle of the road, clutching her chest as if trying to hold the shattered pieces of her heart together. Her voice breaks through the silence, shaking with pain.

She stares at the ground, tears splashing against the cold pavement.

**Bitterness creeping into her voice ***. What everyone says? But love just broke me. Mom and Dad never even looked at me like they looked at her... at my sister. To them, I was nothing. Just a shadow, something that never mattered.
Her voice grows harsher, fists clenching as she looks up at the moon.
