...Mors POV...
I sat in my study, fingers drumming impatiently against the mahogany desk as I awaited Nero's arrival. The sound of the door opening drew my attention, and I looked up to see my right-hand man enter.
"Young master, I have the information you requested," Nero announced, his voice steady.
"Well, don't keep me waiting. Tell me everything," I demanded, leaning forward in my chair.Nero cleared his throat and began,
"Seraphina Aurelia, a 13-year-old girl currently attending Nexuz Academy. Her family owns a flower shop called Magnolia Moment. She lives with her mother and younger sister, as her father is not in the picture."
I listened intently, my mind cataloguing every detail.
"Seraphina excels in her studies and is considered a prodigy. She has a particular fondness for Ghost Orchids, the rarest and most beautiful of all flowers. By all accounts, she is a kind, intelligent girl with a bright future ahead of her."
"That's enough," I interrupted, a smile tugging at the corners of my lips. "You're dismissed."
As Nero departed, I pored over the documents, my excitement growing. I should pay my Czarina another visit soon. With renewed focus, I quickly finished my work and changed into casual attire. Grabbing my car keys, I headed downstairs.
"Young master, shall I drive you?" one of my men asked.
"No need. I'll take my own car," I replied, making my way to my prized possession, a Rolls-Royce Boat Tail.
The purr of the engine as I started the vehicle sent a thrill through me. As I approached Magnolia Moment, I spotted Seraphina in a simple white dress, tending to the flowers. It seemed the shop was busier than usual today.
For now, I would simply observe from afar, allowing my Czarina to enjoy her blissful ignorance. After an hour of watching her, I instructed Nero to install cameras throughout the flower shop and around her home.
"Make a copy of the key to her house, especially her room," I added, my voice laced with anticipation. "As you wish, young master," Nero responded, ending the call.
I drove to my father's company next, determined to inform him of my plans. "Father, I've decided to marry a girl in nine years' time. There's no need for you to find a wife for me," I stated firmly.
My father looked up from his paperwork, a hint of surprise in his eyes. "Does she know about this arrangement?" he asked, his tone cold. "Not yet, but she soon will," I replied confidently.
"Make sure she's strong enough to handle all this," my father said, dismissing me with a wave of his hand. As I returned to my mansion, the staff greeted me.
"Welcome home, young master. Your bath is ready," one of the maids informed me.I made my way to the bathroom, quickly undressing. "Just thinking of her makes me hard," I muttered under my breath, my arousal evident.
After a quick shower, I dried off and headed straight to my laptop. "Good," I whispered, seeing that the cameras were already in place. This was truly addicting.
My breath hitched as I watched Seraphina through the various feeds. She was watering her Ghost Orchids, clad in a pair of cute, short pajamas. Seeing her like this, in the comfort of her own home, made all my troubles fade away.
My heart raced as I watched her undress, her silky smooth skin captivating me. I felt myself growing hard again, a familiar heat pooling in my abdomen. "Haa," I exhaled, my gaze fixed on the screen.
Soon, my Czarina would be mine, and I would shower her with the love and adoration she deserves. No one would dare stand in my way.
Seraphina POV
All day, an unsettling sensation clung to me, a nagging feeling that someone was watching. Each time I glanced out the window, I spotted that sleek, black car parked across the street. It had been there for hours, a silent observer, and I couldn’t shake the creeping unease it brought.
I was exhausted from the relentless stream of orders piling up from my customers at Magnolia Moment. While I was grateful for the business, the weight of the day hung heavily on my shoulders. Yet, despite my fatigue, I couldn’t dismiss the eerie feeling that had settled over me in recent days. Was someone truly watching me, or was I simply overthinking things?
“Whatever,” I muttered to myself, trying to shake off the discomfort. The heat from my pajamas was becoming unbearable, so I decided to change into something lighter. As I undressed, a chill ran down my spine, and goosebumps prickled my skin.
“What the hell?” I questioned aloud, glancing around my room as I instinctively covered my almost naked body with my arms. The sensation of being watched intensified, and I felt a shiver race through me. “Maybe I’m just overthinking it,” I reassured myself, brushing off the uneasy feeling as I rummaged through my wardrobe.
I slipped into a pair of satin pajamas, the fabric cool against my skin. I jumped onto my bed, letting out a contented sigh. “Ahh, the bed feels so nice,” I moaned, stretching out and sinking into the soft sheets.
But as the holidays came to an end, I reminded myself that I needed to prepare for school the next day.Reluctantly, I got up and gathered my school supplies, laying everything out neatly. I set my alarm for the morning, feeling a sense of accomplishment as I climbed back into bed, ready to drift off into sleep.
But sleep didn’t come easily.
“Seraphina, Seraphina,” a whispering voice echoed through my dreams, sending a shiver down my spine. “Ngh, wh-what?” I murmured, my voice thick with sleep and confusion. The whisper grew louder, more insistent, and I felt a wave of panic wash over me. Was I dreaming?
I tried to move, but my body felt heavy, as if weighed down by an unseen force. A rough pair of hands gripped my thigh, and I fought against the sensation, struggling to shake it off. Tears brimmed in my eyes as fear coursed through me. The hands moved higher, and I felt a surge of desperation.
Suddenly, the shrill sound of my alarm jolted me awake. I shot up in bed, heart racing, gasping for breath. My face felt damp, and I touched it, realizing I had been crying. “Tears?” I whispered, the remnants of the nightmare flooding back like a crashing wave.
Relief washed over me as I realized it had all been a dream, but the lingering fear clung to me.I took a moment to collect myself before getting out of bed. I quickly went through my morning routine, brushing my teeth and washing my face, trying to shake off the remnants of the nightmare.
After getting dressed, I headed downstairs for breakfast, the familiar scent of pancakes wafting through the air.“Bye, Mom! See you later!” I called out, grabbing my backpack and heading for the door. My mother waved from the kitchen, her smile warm and reassuring, but the unease from the dream still lingered in the back of my mind.
As I stepped outside, the morning sun bathed the world in light, but I couldn’t shake the feeling that something was off. I glanced at the street, half-expecting to see that black car again, but it was gone. I took a deep breath, trying to push the thoughts away.
Today was a new day, and I was determined to make the most of it, even if the shadows of the night still haunted me.
