If Only Loving You Wasn't a Sin

If Only Loving You Wasn't a Sin

“Lily”

Lily, Lily. Oh, what a name you have.

Lily, just Lily,

Just like the flower Lily.

How she slowly walks through the crowd like a blooming flower, I can sense her smell from afar.

One step forward, there's this white hair of hers flying through the wind

The color of her hair that everyone clearly finds weird.

They were mean people, like bad breaths.

She couldn't take their words properly enough because of their bad breath - (inappropriate words) smelling it like it was a bad wind for her health.

She did the best thing — The bravest decision she has made.

Actually– I never really thought she would ignore those d-mons. I'm not saying she shouldn't, but I just thought she was a soft hearted person who overthinks to whatever people say.

Her hair was the straightest way ever

I always admire how it waves like an ocean and bounces every time she walks.

But it's not the same anymore, her hair changed.

It was curved, curly, and ‘lavender-ish’.

Even though of that, I still can see the white piece of her hair hiding behind that color. How I see it bounces more than ever and waves like a noodle.

She was so special, yet confusing.

How could anyone be like her so lucky to be treated gently by me? -I'm so delusional.

I'd talk about her with my friends,

Annoy them, I wouldn't mind.

As long as I can describe how goddess she was.

The angel that could capture the sting of love...

I'd die for her and be in hell. I may or may not care, but I'll even tell the demons that I met an angel before.

I never hitched a breath nor skipped a beat, ever in my life.

She was the one who was able to make my heart beat fast,

…the one and only.

I talked to her the day my birthday got exposed in the whole class - my friends came in the middle of a discussion of our math class.

The subject I only struggle on because of the teacher.

But I was glad they did,

Or I will never get the chance to have the most awkward, embarrassing memory of us talking together.

Our conversation: "(Her: Nice to meet you! I'm Lily, and are you?)

Me: (I was a bit shocked and stuttering a bit back then so, just Imagine it). "Nice to meet you too, gorgeous. My name's Ivory, but you can call me Ivy." I thought of it, my tongue slipped, but I noticed how she smiled when she heard the word "gorgeous" from me.

Her smile was the only thing I craved for-ever in my life. It was like a soft bullet - weird thing to say but I can't explain properly. It was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen in her that made my heart melt. But every part of her is just perfect. I love her. And I know this isn't a wrong decision.

Her: "Oh, hii Ivy!" -her with an energetic response. I remembered, of course. "Happy birthday, by the way."

After that, we started to get close - I can feel our chemistry, us being the sun and the moon, yin-yang. Our conversation gets deep-long.

We hung out after school, she took me to a club, I invited her. I didn't have a car that day, YET, so, she gave me a ride back then.

PART I — To be continued.
