Chapter 7: Reunited

Author

Three groups are in danger. Will they be able to survive, or will they die at the hands of walkers?

A bunch of zombies was in the parking lot. One of the walkers growled at her and charged at her. Mel knew she needed to fight and could no longer rest.

So, she took the scalpel from her pocket that she had taken from the operating room before she found herself in this situation.

She immediately stabbed one of them in the head and took it off, then stabbed another. She managed to get away from the other two and started running. The sound of her footsteps, her breathing, and her racing heart were the only things she could hear in the underground parking lot.

She looked back to see more zombies chasing her and let out a "damn it" in a rapid voice.

As she ran from them, she tripped on the ground. Since her body was weak, she turned herself around and saw them getting closer to her. She tried to get up but failed because of her weakened body...

She knew this would be the end of her life, so she shut her eyes, getting ready to be bitten by the horde of zombies...

However, a loud noise was heard, and a harsh, evil laugh echoed through the place. She opened her eyes to see a man riding a motorcycle, and behind him was another man holding a gun who started to shoot every zombie in their path.

"Yaaaahoooo!!!" a man could be heard behind the helmet, and of course, there was the other one. While they enjoyed killing them, she had the opportunity to run again, and they didn't notice her. She made sure to get back safe and sound...

While they were distracted, Mel ran to the stairs as she had no choice but to go to the elevator because it was dangerous to ride it. She also thought that the hungry zombies would only be waiting for her as food.

Mel struggled to run, and her body was getting weaker. She felt her wound open since there was blood on her hospital gown.

"Fight it..." That was her only thought right now inside her head. Goddammit... She cursed, knowing she wouldn't make it on time. Running down the stairs carefully, she put the things down and stopped for a while to look at her wound that had been cut open. Oh, motherfucker... she cursed to herself...

Suddenly, two teenagers riding a motorbike were laughing while hitting the zombies' heads. This attracted the other zombies, who chased after Mel. And this gave her a chance to escape.

I should be thankful to the riders!

Mel ran fast as she could until she managed to reach back to the room. "Thank god you're okay! I was worried sick!" Anna checked her arms and make sure to checked everything around her. Mel shook her head "I'm fine "

Anna sigh in relief. "We should find a way to escape the hospital. We can't stay here any longer!"

Ella Cruz

I grunt, struggling to push the zombie out of my way. I side-eye to see Namjoon and Hoseok almost running out of strength. My back hits something, and all I know is that I feel something sharp right in my left hand. I look down to see a knife in my hand. With all the strength I have, I took the knife and stab it right in it's head, and after the zombie downfall, I help Namjoon and then Hoseok.

We then immediately close the door and take long, ragged breaths. Our hearts beat fast; we can hear our hearts inside. "Fuck..." Namjoon sighs out loud. "Well, yeah, fuck! You almost killed us!" I glare at him, giving him a statement about his reckless move. Namjoon wants to say something, but he just closes his mouth. He knows I'm right; he could have gotten us bitten if he had been thinking straight.

"Now what are we going to do?" Hoseok, on the other hand, looked so devastated. "I saw a map around here when I ran out; I forgot where it was located." "It's located near the fire exit," Namjoon replied, and then he added, "We need to get there, take a picture, and then get back here."

Hoseok, who was on the floor, suddenly stood up with his eyes wide. "Wait, wait, wait. You want us to go to the exit? Namjoon, are you crazy? The fire exit is far away from us! We need to take the elevator or go down the stairs to get there!" I knew Hoseok would react like this; it was a risky move, but we didn't have a choice.

"That's the only way, Hoseok." "You're a senior here, right? I'm sure you already know the layout of the whole school." Namjoon looked at me with displeasure. "But not senior high school."

"I thought you were the president." Namjoon looked away, and I shut my mouth, not continuing the words that came out of my head. "So, what's the plan? Take the elevator?" I shook my head. "That would be too risky. If we ride the elevator, God knows what would happen if we encounter zombies when the elevator opens." Hoseok gulped, and chills ran down his spine when he heard it from Ella.

Studio

Yoongi keeps trying, but no one answered. "We should help them... At least some of us will help!" Jimin ran to Yoongi; everyone inside panicked when they saw the CCTV footage. Seokjin put his hand on Jimin's shoulder. "We need a plan, another plan, Jimin. But we need to wait." Jimin threw Seokjin's hand off his shoulder. "When?! We don't know if Taehyung is okay or not! We heard Rona's voice; she is probably dead by now!"

Seokjin looked at Yoongi; he could read from his face that Taehyung is okay and needs another plan. The walkie-talkie rang out. "That must be Taehyung!" Jimin took the walkie-talkie from Yoongi's hand and answered, "Taehyung! Are you alright?!" Jungkook was the first to speak up.

"This is bad; Rona sacrificed herself. I am also making sure that the door is protected, but I don't think it will hold much longer." Seokjin went to the CCTV. "Where are you right now?" He looked at the screen and changed the channel to the footage. "At the computer classroom," Seokjin stopped and saw Taehyung.

"The computer lab is right below us, right? Maybe we can climb down there to help Taehyung." Yoongi looked outside the window. "We can't; the sun has already set. We have to wait until tomorrow."

At night...

Panting....

Sound of wheelchair can be heard at the dark hallway....

"We need to hurry!" Mel pushes the wheelchair with Rolona, along with Anna. Anna was against sitting on his lap, but she immediately agreed. They feel heavy, but she managed to push them. On the other hand, the nurse pushes the wheelchair with the other patient.

"Do you know where we are going?" Mel plans to get them out of the hospital. Earlier, while she was running away, she saw an ambulance in the parking lot, thinking it had been left alone by the staff at the hospital.

"Is the elevator working here?" Mel asks the nurse. She nodded. Mel was scared at the same time to use the elevator because there might be zombies waiting for them, but at the same time, they can't use the fire exit stairs because Rolona is still conscious.

Mel's body felt weak, but she tried to stay strong just to protect the others with her.

Mel gripped the handle of the wheelchair while the elevator was taking them down to the underground where all the cars were parked. It was getting hard to breathe; Mel felt like there was a knife at her throat that was slowly slitting it open, making it hard to breathe.

The elevator countdown is slowly going down to the underground. The light inside the elevator flickers, making it feel like a horror movie.

They held their breath; Mel pulled the wheelchair and took a step back.

*Ding*

The sound of the elevator opened slowly. Then, Anna gasped while the nurse covered her mouth before she screamed.

Tower 7 at night

The door opened slightly, making sure that it stayed quiet. Ella was the first one to get out, peeking her head out of the door. She slowly walked out, followed by Hoseok and then Namjoon.

Only footsteps and a faint growl could be heard from the hallway. Namjoon slowly closed the door; the plan was to get to the nearest fire exit and find the map. Zombies can't see in the dark; that's what they know about them from watching K-dramas about Korean zombies.

Hoseok covered his mouth before he could even make a sound. Ella peeked her head out and saw at least a few zombies walking in the dark. The hallway was dark with no light, so it was easy for them to get past the zombies without making a sound. Namjoon got near to Ella and Hoseok and knelt down to their level.

"The exit door is over there..." Ella pointed to where a zombie blocked the exit door. "It can't be wrong; this is where you and I bumped into each other," Ella said, nodding. The three of them stood up and made a plan. "Please don't tell me we have to pass them..." Ella looked at Hoseok, and he scoffed, knowing Ella's plan. He shook his head and looked at Namjoon, but in the end, his roommate thought the same thing as Ella.

They don't have a choice but to pass right by them without making a sound. "Hoseok, you go first," Namjoon said, and Hoseok gave him a death glare. "Why me?!" "Ella, you go after, and I'm last." Without answering his questions, Namjoon pulled his arm and gently pushed him.

Even though he had fear for his death, he forced himself to be strong and gripped the bat in his hand. He slowly walked and avoided the mess on the floor so it wouldn't make a sound. Ella followed Hoseok to make sure that she would pull him back in case he did something wrong and the zombie attacked him, and that she would save him from his death.

Namjoon, behind Ella, was also making sure that everything behind them was alright and keeping an eye on what was behind them, ready to warn them in case something happened. However, while making sure not to step on anything, the lights suddenly turned on.

"Fuck..." Hoseok cursed when one of the zombies was right in front of him. The zombie snarled and then growled at him, attracting the others. Hoseok screamed, and before the zombie could reach him, Ella pulled him behind her collar and struck her arm at the zombie's mouth. Ella didn't feel any pain; instead, she pushed the zombie with all her strength and smashed its skull using the bat she was holding.

Her arms were protected before they even got out of the dorm. Namjoon, who was behind them, started to hit and smash the zombies' heads while Ella was still protecting Hoseok, who was still on the ground. "Stand up!" Ella helped Hoseok by grabbing his arm without taking her eyes off the zombies. "Don't retreat! Run towards the door!" "The zombies—!" "We will run past them!" Namjoon was the first one to run while Ella took Hoseok's hands and pulled him to run with her.

Namjoon took the trash can and swung it hard at the zombie's head as soon as they reached for the door. Another survival student was there. He got out, and behind him was a bunch of zombies. Namjoon stopped running, and Ella and Hoseok also stopped and saw him. The boy tripped over his feet, and the zombies who were behind him started to eat him. He had bites all over him and screamed for help.

"Aish..." Namjoon looked behind them, and there were more zombies running toward them. "Let's go!" They ran toward the exit. "God damn it! They ate him!" Hoseok said with a trembling voice.

"Ah!" A girl bumped into Ella, thinking she was a zombie. Hoseok pushed her away, causing the back of her head to hit the wall. "Rona...?" At first, Ella thought she was infected, but when she looked closely, it was Rona. "Why did you push me....?!" Rona hissed at Hoseok while holding her head. "I'm sorry...! I thought you were one of them...!" Ella helped Rona to her feet as Namjoon came back. "We don't have much time; let's go!"

All of them ran down the stairs. It was a risky and dangerous move because zombies could hear their every step, which would attract them. While running, the lights turned off again, and the whole place was dark.

"Shit, the lights went out again!" Ella cursed under her breath. She was also thinking about the same thing that had happened before: the lights went out again and again, and she suspected it was the government doing this after they announced that all electricity and water would be cut off. Just like in zombie, pandemic, and catastrophe movies.

Namjoon looked out the door to see more zombies walking and standing everywhere. He was thinking deeply about what to do next: whether they should risk it again or stay until they had another plan. However, Namjoon knew that waiting on the stairs would be too risky, as the other zombies might step in...

Everyone decided to stay and take a break.

"There are a lot of zombies outside the door; we need a plan."

"We can't wait here. The lights will turn on suddenly, just like earlier. If I hadn't pulled Hoseok, he would have ended up eaten by that zombie, just like what happened to the boy."

"And we can't risk going out there. We need another plan if we want to survive."

Hoseok watched Ella and Namjoon arguing, which led to an uncomfortable atmosphere, so he decided to step in. "Um... guys, I know you want us to feel safe, but I think Ella is right. We can't stay here any longer, and of course, Namjoon, you're right; we also need a plan, but we can't think any longer. We need a plan right now."

"Hoseok is right," Rona said, supporting Hoseok's words, and he nodded at her in thanks. Ella sat down on the floor and took something out of her bag. She saw that there were a few chocolate bars inside. "You guys want some? We need energy; I still haven't eaten yet." Ella gave a few chocolate bars to them.

"I thought you said we can't stay longer?" Namjoon smirked in mockery. Ella rolled her eyes at him. "I guess we need energy if we want to fight back against the zombies, or we will be their dinner," Ella said in a sarcastic way.

"In fact, we're still on the 8th floor before we go down to the underground," Hoseok nodded at the number label on the wall. "8th floor, ha, we're almost on the 7th floor where my dorm is located. I was planning to go back there to get more stuff and supplies. Mia bought a lot," Ella chuckled, remembering how Mia and she went to the grocery store and Mia almost bought the entire store. She thought that Mia came from a rich family since she had so much money.

An idea suddenly popped up in Namjoon's head, and he looked at Ella again while taking a bite of his chocolate bar. "Ella, you said you have a lot of supplies in your dorm from Mia's." Ella knew what Namjoon meant. "Are you actually taking this so seriously?" Namjoon and Ella stared daggers at each other. With no choice left, Ella sighed.

Of course, they also needed at least food supplies and an emergency kit since they were trying to survive the apocalypse inside the school campus. With no help coming because of the lack of electricity, they needed to act on their own to survive.

Namjoon told the others to get ready because it would be another round to face the zombies. However, when they got to the 7th floor, they were surprised and suspiciously looked around.

There was no one at the hall, and only dead bodies were scattered on the ground. The group hesitated. "Do we really need to do this? It's so suspicious; I don't even see the infected Mia," Ella whispered to Namjoon while her eyes were still on the dark hallway, illuminated only by the moonlight streaming through the school windows.

Everyone slowly went out without letting their guard down. It was dark, and the only light guiding them was the moon. They knew very well that the empty hallway was dangerous and suspicious; at the same time, they could hear faint growls not far away from them. Namjoon leaned a little bit against the door to read the numbers on it; Ella's room was #107. She also told them that the door had been clearly wide open when she ran away from Mia.

Rona was behind Hoseok; she was afraid that she had grabbed Hoseok suddenly and made him startled, causing him to scream. Ella was also startled by Hoseok, so she turned around sharply, ready to attack. Namjoon looked behind him to check after them. Luckily, Hoseok covered his mouth before he could make a sound. "Sorry," Hoseok wanted to scold her, but he remembered that it was not the time, so he just hissed at her.

Namjoon and Ella continued to slow their steps and hid in a much darker place as if they were ninjas. They avoided stepping on the dead bodies on the ground. Hoseok was shaking in fear and nervously avoiding stepping on someone's dead hand.

Finally, they reached room #107, just like Ella mentioned. The door was wide open. Ella then suggested to Namjoon that she would be the first to go inside the room to check everything. There was no one inside; Mia could have been here somewhere, Ella thought while checking the living room. The room was separated inside the room. Rona saw a silhouette in one of the rooms and went closer as she opened the door. The person turned sharply and suddenly jumped right at Rona.

Startled, Rona screamed loudly. Her scream attracted everyone, including the zombies. Rona was on the ground while the zombie was right above her, pushing its way to bite her. Hoseok was the first one to see this, and he stumbled; the zombie caught his attention and went after him.

"Ahhh...! Bullshit!" Because of his fear, he took his weapon and hit the zombie right on the head. Ella and Namjoon came just in time to help Hoseok. "The door...!" They heard the other zombies running towards them. Rona and Ella reached for the door and closed it before the zombies could even reach it. Once the door was closed, the girls used their bodies to prevent it from breaking.

"We could use a little help here!" Ella exclaimed. Namjoon turned his head to see them blocking the door. They could hear the zombies outside trying to get in. With only one hand, Namjoon dragged the zombie away from Hoseok and threw her into the bathroom, then closed the door. Hoseok collapsed onto the ground, his legs wobbly. "God... I almost died...!"

Namjoon helped Hoseok stand back on his feet and assisted Rona and Ella. They took items from the table, refrigerator, and other places just to block the door.

At night in studio

Yoongi watches the CCTV, and Seokjin is right behind him. "Hah! Checkmate!" Jungkook exclaimed in victory, and Jimin sighed, "Damn it!" Jungkook laughed at his reaction; Jimin failed to win against Jungkook on the chessboard. "That's enough, both of you. It's time to get some rest," Seokjin said while fixing his gaze at the screen.

"Have you guys noticed that the light always flickers, like in a horror movie?" Jimin said while he cleaned up. Jungkook stood up and took the walkie-talkie in his hand. "I wonder how Taehyung is doing right now." "He is fine; we have CCTV with us." Jimin looked at the screen and said sadly, "He looks lonely and scared..."

"Good thing the lights went back on. The other CCTVs are broken. If the lights go off again, then—" and just like that, before Yoongi can even finish, the lights went off again. "Shit," everyone sighs. A radio from the walkie-talkie made a sound. Jungkook answered, "Hey bro, you okay there?" He heard him chuckle. "Yeah, I am. It's dark again here. And lonely. I heard you from above." Taehyung laughed as he thought Jimin was lost again from the chessboard. "Just hold on, we will find a way to get you out of there..." "Yeah... hope so."

Taehyung looked out the window, watching the moon shine through and land right on the ground. "The moon is beautiful; I heard a goddess once lived there," Jungkook said, looking out the window. The whole school was dark, but the moon helped to light everything up, even if just for a bit. "Yeah, she is our witness for everything..." Jungkook replied. The call ended, and Jimin patted his shoulder. "He will be fine," were his words before he took off his school jacket and laid it on the ground before lying down.

Somewhere in Seoul...

"Damn it..." Mel cursed under her breath as she looked behind her. Anna and the others had fallen asleep. "Did the engine stop?" another voice asked, and Mel nodded. "Yeah, it ran out of gas."

"Han Do-Yun, that's my name," he said before getting out of the ambulance. But I didn't ask his name...

Earlier...

*Ding*

The sound of the elevator opened slowly. Then, Anna gasped while the nurse covered her mouth before she screamed.

Two men wore jackets and caps with facemasks and pointed a gun at them when the elevator opened. "Get out," one of the men gestured for them to exit. Everyone got out of the elevator. "Don't do anything reckless; just follow what we say." Everyone did what they were told; they obeyed and followed them until they got inside the ambulance.

Now...

Everyone walked to the silent street at night. It was dark, and there was no light, but Mel was thinking about something. The lights were out; how was the elevator still working? Mel had been suspicious while they were in the elevator, but she didn't have any answers.

Do-Yun stopped at the nearby store. One of the men, Sung-hyung, knocked. "Hey, it's us!" Do-Yun smacked the back of his head and hissed, "Too loud, you idiot!" Mel and Anna tensed, and their ears were on alert.

A faint sound of a bus was coming toward them. Mel squinted her eyes and saw that the bus was approaching, and behind it were... more zombies running. "Oh God... Oh God...!" "Motherfucker!" The man kept knocking at the closed store. Mel pulled the wheelchair and urged the nurse to do the same.

The bus hit some of the cars and stopped. Everyone on the bus immediately got down, but the zombies were much faster. "Open this damn door! Hurry!" They heard the door clank open slightly. A woman with a baby in her arms ran, while others with children got separated and bitten. "Hurry up!" Do-Yun pulled the wheelchair and got them inside; the nurse and the other patient were already inside the store, while Mel was still standing outside, waiting for the survivors to come.

"Over here! Over here!" Mel waved her arms, and Do-Yun aggressively pulled her arm. "Stop it! It's too late for them!" But Mel didn't listen and broke free from his grasp before she ran to the woman with the baby running towards her. "Aish, she's dead," Do-Yun said as he went back inside and was about to close the door when Anna grabbed his arm.

Mel ran despite some zombies running toward her, but she dodged them until she reached the woman. "Are you alright...?!" She checked the woman before grabbing and protecting her. She took hardened metal from the car and used it to defend against the zombies. "Let go!" "No! I won't let you kill my sister...!" Anna screamed in his face, speaking in English, and punched him right on the nose. Do-Yun groaned and covered his nose as he pulled away from the door. "Mel...! Hurry...!!!!"

The woman tripped and twisted her ankle. "Oh no... Child, please, just save my baby...!" The woman shoved the baby into Mel's arms. "Please.... Run....!!!!" Mel wanted to help her, but someone's hand grabbed her wrist and pulled her to run. Mel turned around to see the zombies starting to get her; the woman had been bitten to death. The person pushed Mel inside the store, and she fell to the ground while the man immediately closed the door before the other survivors could even get inside. They could hear the begging and screaming from them.

That night, at tower 7

Ella brought some bags and put it on the floor. "Everything is complete for Tomorrow. Emergency kit, food supplies and also some things can help" Namjoon nod at Ella in approval. Hoseok and Rona fell asleep. "Do you think we can make it tommorow?" Ella sat down, Namjoon look at her. "I don't know, maybe we die or we survive" Namjoon said while looking at Ella with expressionless, his eyes fix to the window and see the moon.

"I just hope that we're all survive... " he reply before went to the other room leaving Ella alone.

Ella lean her back to the wall and look down to see her bracelet on her wrist. Remember this moment Elizabeth Ann Cruz, this bracelet is the proof that no matter what, I will be with you forever. Even if I die.

Yes, Elizabeth Ann Cruz was her full name. She hid her full name...She remembered the moment when her parents die, she remembered how her foster mother adopted her, she remember her twin sister she loved the most died, she remembered that night...

. . .

. . .

. . .

No... No...

"Let go....! No... Let go....!"

A group of hands grabbed her. A doctor came inside. "Tsk, tsk, tsk. You think you can escape like that? Huh, experiment #305?" The doctor nodded to the nurse. The nurses took the syringe, and inside was a green liquid, which they injected into the girl.

"No...!!! Nooooo!!!!!"

"NO!" "Ella!" Ella jolted up from her sleep, and she felt like she couldn't breathe. She held her neck, breathing heavily, and felt dizzy. Rona put her hand on her shoulder. "Hey, relax. Take a deep breath in." Hoseok and Namjoon went to the living room to see Ella in a horrible state. "What's wrong with her?" Hoseok asked, concern on his face. "I don't know; I think she had a nightmare," Rona replied while taking some strands of hair from Ella's forehead.

Namjoon stared at Ella darkly, but of course, he hid it when Hoseok looked at him. "We have to go," he said before turning his back on them. Rona scoffed and said to Hoseok, "Is he serious now? Ella is in a bad state; is he really going to leave without waiting for her to get better?" Hoseok just shrugged his shoulders.

After a few seconds, Ella was feeling better, and the group proceeded with their plan.

Outside the Yeon High school

An ambulance crashed right at the gates of the high school. The zombies chased after it, and the people inside the ambulance got out and ran. "Damn it....!" They were wearing all black clothes with masks. A man threw a bomb right at the zombies to slow them down.

The group ran toward the school entrance while they hit the zombies and fought them. While they were running, Jimin saw them. With surprise and excitement, he called everyone to wake up. "Guys... Guys...!!! Look, look!!!" Jungkook, Yoongi, and Seokjin went to the window and saw a group of all-black survivors running toward the school entrance, where the studio they stayed in was located.

"Holy shit, they came here..! We should at least help them!" Yoongi looked for something and went inside to the audio room to turn on the speaker that was near the studio. Yoongi took his phone and connected it to the Bluetooth. "Yoongi, what are you doing?" "Trust me!" Yoongi opened the window and turned on the music on his phone.

[Playing: Idol by BTS]

Once the song was started, the zombies froze on the stop and turned their bodies straight in the studio.

You can call me artist (artist)

You can call me idol (idol)

No matter what you call me

I don't care

I'm proud of it (proud it)

I'm free (free)

No more irony (irony)

Cuz I was always just me

All eyes were fixed on Yoongi. "Seriously, Yoongi? An idol?" Yoongi laughs, "At least I helped, come on!" They look to the window and see more zombies running to the studio. "Okay, it works, but we need to block the door..!" Jimin and Seokjin go to the door to block it while Yoongi and Jungkook watch the window. The survivors look up to see them and nod thankfully.

They point fingers at me, but I don't care at all

Whatever the reason for your criticism is

I know what I am (I know what I am)

I know what I want (I know what I want)

I never gon' change (I never gon' change)

I never gon' trade (Trade off)

On the other side, Ella stopped and asked, "Was that an idol song?" Rona chuckled upon hearing it, and even Taehyung, on the other side, heard them say, "Aish, those bastards."

Keep on chit-chatting, saying this and that

I do what I do, so you do you

You can't stop me lovin' myself

However, even if they help them, it also takes everyone's life at a cost. The group ran when the zombies reached for them; Namjoon was the leader, and everyone followed him. Hoseok took the fire extinguisher and used it as a defense against the zombies. With no choice left, Hoseok screamed while he released the contents from the fire extinguisher. "Hoseok, that won't kill a zombie!" Ella pulled Hoseok by his arms.

Eolssu, I like it

You can't stop me lovin' myself

I like the shouts

You can't stop me lovin' myself

The group ran to the stairs, and another zombie was there. Luckily, Namjoon was fast enough to kill them by hitting their heads. Rona and Ella kicked some of the zombies trying to get to them. Rona picked up a small knife from the floor and immediately struck the zombie's head, just like she had seen in the movies.

Oh-oh-owoah (Hey)

Oh-oh-owoah-owoah

Oh-oh-owoah

Bam badum bum brrrrumble

Ursoo

On the other hand, Seokjin, Jungkook, and Jimin tried to block the door, but the huge number of zombies approaching it made it harder for them to use their strength to keep the door closed.

"Yoongi...! Turn off the speaker now!" Seokjin shouted and grunted while pushing himself against the door. Yoongi turned off his phone and helped them. "This is bad; the door won't hold off! It will break!" Jungkook said, the walkie-talkie turned on, and Taehyung spoke. "Guys, you have to get out of there! I heard running from the zombies coming over there! Get down here!" Jungkook had another idea in his head. "Hyung, get here. I will take something that can help us!" Yoongi replaced Jungkook while he ran, opening the cabinets.

Luckily, Jungkook remembered that he had placed a pile of curtains and tableware by mistake because he misunderstood his classmates, thinking that he should put them in the homeroom. However, Jungkook wasn't listening and replaced the homeroom with the audio studio room. Ms. Song scolded him for his mistake and said she would get it later after his lunch when the apocalypse came. He tied together the curtains and tableware and tied them to the other side.

He also took off his school jacket and looked behind him. "Jin-hyung! Please take off your jacket and give it to me, and the same goes for you too, Yoongi-hyung and Jimin-hyung!" The boys followed what Jungkook said and threw off their school jackets at him. Jungkook immediately tied the jackets to the curtains and tableware, and once he was done, he threw them out the window. "Hyung, look at the window!" Taehyung turned around to see a long tied bundle of curtains with tableware and their jackets together. He ran and opened the window, peeking his head out to see Jungkook.

"Wait for us there!" Jungkook looked behind them. "Hurry up! We don't have a choice but to hold on tight! But it won't take long, and I can't carry a heavy weight; it will rip!"

Seokjin looked at Yoongi, who understood and immediately ran towards Jungkook. "Let's go first!" Seokjin and Jimin struggled to use their strength just to block the door, but they still managed to do it. "Taehyung, we're going down there." "Alright, be careful." Jungkook and Yoongi looked at the other two sadly before they went to the window. "Please... both of you, catch up!" When Jungkook and Yoongi slowly went down, they grabbed only the curtain and tableware with their jackets.

The radio turned on that Yoongi had left on the table. "Hyung...! Hurry!" Seokjin and Jimin looked at each other, and together they both ran. The door behind them burst open and broke down, chasing after them. Jimin went first and climbed down faster, and Seokjin followed, taking the walkie-talkie with him before going to the window. He was almost grabbed by the zombies, but he managed to dodge them and went to the window to grab the clothes. However, one zombie managed to get out and fell, but it grabbed Seokjin's leg.

"Hyung!" Jimin, who was below him and saw it, screamed not because he was bitten, but because he was shocked and scared. The zombie was about to bite him when Jimin put a ball of his handkerchief in the zombie's mouth. "Eat that, you bastard!!!" Before hitting it, he grabbed his pen and struck its head. The zombie let go and fell. The tied rope ripped a little, and they felt it. "Shit! It's ripped!" "Hurry up!" Jimin went down faster while Seokjin followed. When Jimin was inside, the rope ripped, and Seokjin stumbled and fell before he could even reach the window.

But luckily, Taehyung and Jimin caught his hand. "Hyung! Hold on!" Below them was another zombie waiting for Seokjin to fall, but with teamwork, Yoongi and Jungkook helped Taehyung and Jimin bring Seokjin up. "Hyung! Give me your other hand!" And just like that, Seokjin gave his other hand, and they helped him up.

Seokjin was safe inside, and everyone sighed loudly and breathed heavily. "Shit... Thanks..." Seokjin slumped to the floor. Just when they finally relaxed, another knock came from outside the computer classroom, and everyone flinched. "Open the door! We're survivors, we're not infected! Help us!" They looked at each other before standing up and saw them from the window. "Hey... It's them!" Jimin exclaimed.

Meanwhile, somewhere in the Yeon high school village...

Surprisingly, the group of Namjoon survived and ran outside to the village while other zombies chased them. In fact, they scattered; Namjoon was with Rona while Hoseok was with Ella. Together, they found a way to the escape route. "Fuck!" Hoseok was still holding the fire extinguisher and threw it at the zombies' faces. Ella saw a wooden plank and swung her arm to hit the other zombies in their way.

They stopped for a while and saw another exit from the village. Grabbing Hoseok's hand, they ran together, while Namjoon and Rona managed to get out of the village.

The group reunites outside the senior high buildings and runs inside. There, they meet the other zombies, and the group goes up the stairs, running and panting. Ella's legs are feeling like they are about to give up from tiredness; she can feel her thighs getting numb. She wants to rest, but she knows well that it won't work. So she fights it and keeps running. The group sees a zombie running toward them, so they have to run to the hallway, but another zombie is there. The group turns back, but another group of zombies comes.

"Shit, we're trapped!" Rona wraps her arms around Ella. Namjoon goes to the classroom door and tries to open it, but it is locked from the inside. Hoseok and Ella grab something to shield themselves and the others. "We're dead..."

Panting, with a racing heart, cold sweat ran down her back. The zombie was getting closer and closer when the door suddenly opened, and a group of people dressed in black came out. Everyone turned their eyes to see them; one of them threw a smoke bomb, and smoke billowed out.

Ella covered her nose and coughed as her eyes squinted, trying to see her surroundings. The smoke spread faster, and she heard gunshots. She couldn't see the others, and Rona was separated from her.

Her ears are ringing. She walks to find a way out, unaware that she is almost close to her death. A group of hands grabs her arms, and Ella screams and shudders, thinking it is a zombie. But when she turns to take a closer look, it is them. She is dragged along with them, and she hears a familiar voice: "Over here! Hurry!"

Was that Seokjin's voice? she thought as she saw the door and was dragged inside. Ella slumped to the floor, closing her eyes to calm herself down when she heard another familiar voice. "Ella." She felt a hand on her shoulder. Ella looked up; her vision was not clear enough. A few seconds later, she saw her face, and her eyes widened...

"Mel...?" She was in disbelief to see her, so she stood up slowly and looked around to see her sister, Anna, taking off her mask, and of course, she recognized Rolona, her old classmate.
