It all started when Nathan accidentally discovered a book in the imperial library a month ago, while he was there to assassinate the third imperial scholar of this empire in his employer, the crown prince's order.

Being orphaned at childhood, Nathan had a hard life struggling to keep himself alive and fed. That is until he met the crown prince who was just a nameless bastard back then. The crown prince, who happened to be the illegitimate child of the emperor, took him in and trained him to be an assassin. Using him and many other means, the crown prince rose to the position he is in right now.

Being an assassin, Nathan had to live all his life in the shadows, and he had to keep his guard up all the time, so he had no friends at all. All that made him a book lover as he knew only books could be his friend that he could trust, friend that would never harm him.

He had read all the books of the imperial library but never seen that book until the day he assassinated the third imperial scholar.

That book was written two hundred years ago, in the year **25 by a woman named Sylvia Rodriguez. But he couldn't read the name of the book as it was totally covered with blood.

What surprised him is that the book had a side character named Nathan Coleman, who lived the same life as he did until then! The hero of the book was that illegitimate son of emperor who worked hard to get into the position of the crown prince. During a critical time, the crown prince sends the assassin to a place that he was called to attend by his enemy who had laid a trap for the prince, which led to a fierce battle and the death of that assassin.

Nathan got frightened at first seeing the scary similarity of that character with himself. But then summoned up his courage thinking-

There is no way that I would die just because some woman who already died two hundred years ago wrote in her book that I will die this way.

Nathan's breath got slower and deeper as he had lost insane amount of blood already.

Nathan slid through the wall as his breathing stopped, insane amount of vengeance made his heart ache at his last moments.
