 My name is Jade Cruz, the eldest daughter of the Cruz family. But that was the most regrettable moment of my life. Unlike other families, I didn't have the freedom of a grown-up teenager. I was always monitored by my creepy parents. I have a younger sister, Jane. However, our parents treated us like some kind of slaves. They were always strict towards us. I don't know why, but I hate my parents very much. I even suspect, are they really our parents? Having abusive parents is not easy. So, I tried my best to protect my little sister from our monstrous parents. I know they won't care about us anymore. Sometimes, I curse my own fate for having parents like them. The only good thing they did for us was letting us go to school. That was the only good thing that happened in our lives. Seriously, why can't we have a normal family? What's wrong with them anyway? Day by day, I realized that my family isn't normal.

 I've always known that, but it wasn't until recently that I realized just how twisted and dark our family truly is.

It all started when I was a child. I would hear strange noises coming from my parents' room late at night. Whispers, moans, and sometimes even screams. I would lie in bed, terrified, wondering what was happening behind that closed door.

As I got older, I began to notice other oddities about my family. My parents never seemed to age, and they rarely left the house during the day. They would only venture out at night, always returning before dawn.

I tried to ignore these strange occurrences, but things took a turn for the worse when my younger sister disappeared. She had been playing in the backyard one minute, and the next, she was gone without a trace. My parents claimed she had run away, but I knew deep down that something more sinister was at play.

I started to investigate on my own, digging through old family photos and documents. What I uncovered was horrifying. My family had a dark history of ritualistic sacrifices and dealings with the occult. I realized that my parents were not who they claimed to be, but something much more sinister.

I knew I had to escape, but my family had other plans. They locked me in the basement, where I discovered the truth about their twisted rituals. They were preparing to sacrifice me to a dark entity in exchange for eternal life and power.

I managed to break free and flee into the night, knowing that I could never return to that house of horrors. I now live in constant fear, knowing that my family will stop at nothing to bring me back and complete their dark ritual.
