On the other side, two hours ago.

I was called into an important meeting with all of the other Alphas, to deal with the recent rogues that have been killing women and children for a few months now. Even though I'm not having any problem with my pack, I was still asked to help since it will help strengthen the relationships with the other packs.

"We don't have enough warriors to protect the women and children in our pack!"

"We need to focus on protecting our north side from the other packs that are stealing our lands!"

"We need to protect our south side from the recent flooding, we need more manpower!"

All these complaints are giving me a headache.

"I'm going out to get some air." I mind linked to my Beta. He slowly nodded my head, while continuing to write his notes.

I started my way out of the long crowded meeting hall, but a sudden burst of pain made me drop to the ground.

The room went silent with the gasps of the other Alphas and betas.

I clenched my heart, the source of my pain. I was seeing a glimpse of what my mate was experiencing through his eyes.

"F.cking B.stard!" I growled loudly, causing my Alpha voice to make the other Alphas shiver, while the betas dropped onto their knees instantly.

I growled loudly, releasing my Pheromones. I struggled to stand as I left the meeting room with my hands clenched. All the passing by Werewolves shivered as they bowed down to me. I swung the door open of the hotel, shattering the glass door as I slammed it shut.

I ran to my car, angrily shutting the door close. I tried breathing to control my anger, but that only irritated me. I plugged in my car keys and stomped on the gas peddle.

After about an hour, I reached my packhouse. But still as angry as before. If not, maybe even more. I could feel that my mate got away from the man who raped her, but despair and loneliness were surging into me through the mates bond.

I swung open the packhouse door after parking my car on the front lawn. Everyone was kowtowing down to me, as I glided past them. Whispers of what happened passed among the pack members, but I didn't care enough to tell them to shut up.

I stomped up the steps towards my room, once reaching my room, I slammed the door shut.

I mind linked my beta and research team that's was assigned to finding possible people that could be my mate.

"Search in all the hospitals for new cases of rape victims that happened around 5 this morning."

"Yes, Alpha." They all replied.

I quickly stripped myself of my clothes, leaving my skin exposed bare. I shifted into my Blacked shaded wolf form and exited out of the window. It wasn't that long of a fall, but I need the pain to keep my mind clear.
