Queen Eliza sat at her desk, sipping her morning tea as she stared at the stack of letters and portraits before her. She had sent out inquiries to the neighboring kingdoms, seeking the perfect bride for Prince Alex. But as she scanned the responses, she couldn't help but feel a sense of unease.
Some of the princesses were too young, others too old. Some were beautiful but lacked intelligence, while others were clever but lacked charm. None seemed quite right for her son.
Just as she was about to give up, a knock at the door interrupted her thoughts. It was her trusted advisor, Lord Thomas.
"Your Majesty, I've received word from the Kingdom of Everwood," he said, bowing low. "They're offering their princess, Christina, as a potential bride for Prince Alex."
Queen Eliza's eyes narrowed. "Tell me more."
Lord Thomas hesitated, "Well, Your Majesty, Princess Christina is...unconventional. She's known for her bravery and skill in battle, but also for her stubbornness and disregard for royal protocol."
Queen Eliza raised an eyebrow. "Go on."
"She's also quite beautiful, but in a...unique way. Not the traditional princess type, but more of a...wildflower, Your Majesty."
Queen Eliza leaned back in her chair, intrigued. "I like that. We need someone who can keep up with Alex's adventurous spirit. Invite them to the palace for a visit. Let's see if they're a good match."
Meanwhile, Prince Alex was out in the castle gardens, training with his sword. He had no idea his mother was arranging his marriage behind his back. But as he clashed swords with his instructor, he couldn't shake the feeling that his life was about to change forever...
As Prince Alex trained in the gardens, his mind kept wandering to the beautiful maiden he had met in the village.they had fallen deeply in love.
But alas, their love was forbidden. bella was a commoner, and Prince Alex knew his mother would never approve of their relationship. He had tried to push the thoughts of Emily aside, but he couldn't help the way he felt.
Just then, his instructor, Sir Edward, called out, "Enough for today, Prince Alex! You're distracted."
Prince Alex sheathed his sword, his heart heavy with worry. How could he marry some princess his mother chose when his heart belonged to
Little did he know, his mother was at that very moment planning his engagement to Princess Christina of Everwood..
Prince Alex's mind kept wandering to the beautiful maiden he had seen in the village. He had only caught a glimpse of her, but her sparkling eyes and bright smile had captivated him. He couldn't shake the feeling that he had seen his soulmate.
As he attended the ball, hosting Princess Christina, his eyes scanned the crowd, hoping to catch another glimpse of the mysterious maiden. But she was nowhere to be found.
Meanwhile, bella, the maiden, was watching the ball from afar, hidden behind a tapestry. She had sneaked into the palace to see the prince again, but only from a distance. Their eyes met for a brief moment, and Alex's heart skipped a beat.
Christina, noticing his distraction, leaned in close. "Perhaps we can help each other, Prince Alex," she whispered. "I have secrets of my own, and I sense you do too."
Alex's eyes never left bella's face, his heart racing with excitement. He knew he had to find a way to meet her again, to talk to her, to learn more about her...
As the night wore on, Prince Alex found himself torn between his duty to his mother and his growing fascination with the mysterious maiden. He knew he had to make a choice, but his heart was leading him astray.
Just as the clock struck midnight, bella slipped away, disappearing into the shadows. Prince Alex excused himself from Christina and rushed after her, determined to catch up.
He followed her through the winding corridors of the palace, his heart pounding in his chest. Finally, he reached the gardens, where he saw her standing alone, looking up at the stars.
"Wait!" he called out, running towards her.
Emily turned, her eyes shining with tears. "I shouldn't be here," she whispered.
But Prince Alex took her hand, his heart overflowing with emotion. "I'm glad you are," he said, his voice barely above a whisper.
And with that, they shared their first kiss, under the starry night sky...
