Mirror Training.

The next day. Hoshi and Hana leave their room and head towards the center of the facility. A giant metal dome filled with rooms to train different various things and conduct drills. They enter and are amazed as they witness the size of the facility and obstacles that exist within .

Hoshi: “this is nothing like the academy!” He shouts excitedly.

Hana: “I’m guessing you never been here’re before?” She sarcastically questions.

Hoshi: “Never. Once I woke up about a year ago I spend some time in the hospital and went straight to the academy after that. I lived there and trained; until now that is. I have no memory of my past before my awakening.”

Hana: “about a year ago? that’s a long time to be in your metamorphosis stage!”

Hoshi: “my what?”

Hana: “your metamorphosis stage. That energy field that held you within and allowed you to develop as you slept.”

Hoshi: “I wasn’t informed much about it I had a short briefing with General Tsuki.” He states with a concern look.

Hana: “I see. Well it’s how imperfect demons as us are born”

Hoshi: “imperfect Dem……”

Drill Sargent Yamada: “What are you two doing there standing looking all lost with your cute shiny little medals you pathetic parasites!” He shouts with powerful thundering voice.

Hoshi and Hana are stunned and quickly salute their superior.

Yamada: “You two must be the new scouter and defender. We haven’t had a special operations pair like you both in a very long time. I am drill sergeant Yamada, i will be pushing your limits and testing your boundaries. You’ll go through vigorous training and tests. “You two will be so in sync that you’ll be like mirror images of each other!” Now let’s begin your training and discover you true potential imperfects.”

Hoshi: “imperfects?” he says to himself.

Yamada: “what are your demon abilities?”

Hana: I have advanced vision. I can see further than a normal human, I can target enemies faster, and extremely accurate on a sniper.

Hoshi: “Demon abilities!? I’m human.”

Yamada and Hana both turn to stare at Hoshi with a confused look.

Yamada: “you parasites are not human. If it wasn’t for the general and the supreme leader I would have slayed you both right now at this very instant but I have strict orders.

Now both of you head to the locker rooms change and get ready. I have one month to make you the best partners in existence and I plan to do just that.

Hoshi and Hana head to the lockers room to ready themselves for their training.

Hana: “you have no knowledge of what you are don’t you.”

Hoshi: “I’m human. No matter what anyone says. I was trained to become a soldier and protect humanity. That’s all I know and that’s all it will be. One thing I do question though what makes us imperfects?”

Hana: “we were once human, until demonic energy was fused with our life source creating half human half demonic entities, but only a powerful demon can create such beings. The younger person the more powerful the transformation.”

Hoshi: “how did you come across all this information?”

Hana: “one night I left my room during my training at the academy. I snuck into General Tsuki’s office because I wanted to learn more about this world. I read classified documents that were on top of her desk that I wasn’t suppose to ever see. Tsuki came in and caught me red handed but instead of a punishment she offered me a deal.”

Hoshi: “A deal!?”

Yamada enters the locker room

Yamada: “are you parasites ready!? Let’s get going time to commence your training!”

Hoshi and Hana turn to look at each other and nod.

They both shout: “ready sir!”

For the next month Hoshi and Hannah go through intense training; perfecting their weapon skills, hand to hand combat, and survival knowledge. They trained together everyday growing closer and closer and bonding like never before.

It’s the end of the month.The last day of their training arrives.

Yamada: “ Look at you both. How much you two have grown in just a short month. I’m proud to have been your drill sergeant. Yall have gone from parasites to a proper team. You both successfully mimic each other movements and are in sync as one. My mirror training has been a success. It’s time for your big mission now. Good luck to the both of you. I’ll surely miss you both. Now please report to General Tsuki’s office where she awaits you for further instructions.” He confidently states.

Yamada leaves and thinks to himself

Yamada: “These kids are alright. I wish them the best of luck. I can no longer hate them. This month with them has taught me a lot. They might be more human than I thought.

Hoshi and Hana have completed their training and are set to begin their very first mission together.
