**Episode 7: A Dangerous Revelation**
The chaos that erupted in the hall sent shockwaves through the room, the once elegant and composed gathering now in utter disarray. Rudra guided Armaan through the frantic crowd, his grip on Armaan’s arm firm and unyielding. It was clear that whatever had just happened, it was serious.
“Stay close to me,” Rudra said, his voice cutting through the noise.
Armaan’s heart pounded as they maneuvered through the panicked guests, all thoughts of the flower arrangements and the grandeur of the event forgotten. His senses were on high alert, and every sound and movement seemed amplified. What had started as a prestigious event had now turned into a nightmare.
As they reached a less crowded corner of the hall, Aarav appeared, his expression tense but controlled. “Rudra, what’s going on?” Armaan asked, his voice trembling with fear and confusion.
“We’ve been compromised,” Rudra said, his eyes scanning the room. “It looks like someone’s trying to send a message.”
“A message?” Armaan repeated, the gravity of the situation sinking in.
Aarav exchanged a look with Rudra, his usual easygoing demeanor replaced with a deadly seriousness. “We need to get Armaan out of here. It’s not safe for him.”
Rudra nodded in agreement. “I’ll take him to a secure location. Aarav, handle things here.”
Armaan’s panic spiked at the thought of being separated from Rudra. “Wait, what’s happening? Why am I in danger?”
Rudra’s expression softened slightly, and he placed both hands on Armaan’s shoulders, grounding him in the moment. “Armaan, I need you to trust me. There’s a lot going on that you don’t understand, but I promise I’ll explain everything once we’re safe.”
Armaan’s mind whirled with questions, but the intensity in Rudra’s eyes made him nod in agreement. “Okay. I trust you.”
“Good,” Rudra said, his voice low and comforting. “Now, let’s get out of here.”
Just as they turned to leave, a voice called out from behind them, freezing them in their tracks. “Leaving so soon, Rudra?”
Armaan turned to see Nisha standing a few feet away, her posture relaxed but her gaze sharp as a blade. The playful smirk she usually wore was gone, replaced with an expression of cold calculation.
“Nisha, this isn’t the time,” Rudra said, his voice tinged with irritation.
Nisha’s gaze shifted to Armaan, her eyes narrowing. “And where are you taking our dear florist?”
Armaan’s stomach twisted at the possessive tone in her voice. It was clear that Nisha saw him as more than just an innocent bystander in whatever game was being played.
“Nisha, stand down,” Rudra said, his tone leaving no room for argument.
But Nisha didn’t back down. Instead, she took a step closer, her eyes locked on Armaan. “You have no idea what you’ve gotten yourself into, do you?”
Armaan swallowed hard, his mind racing. “What are you talking about?”
Nisha’s smile was chilling. “You think Rudra brought you into his life because of your pretty flowers? No, darling. You’re part of something much bigger, and much more dangerous.”
Armaan felt the blood drain from his face. He turned to Rudra, searching for some kind of reassurance. But Rudra’s expression was unreadable, his jaw clenched tight.
“Enough, Nisha,” Rudra said, his voice low and threatening. “This isn’t the time or place.”
Nisha laughed, a bitter sound that echoed in the now-quiet hall. “Isn’t it? The boy deserves to know the truth, Rudra. Before it’s too late.”
Armaan’s heart raced as he looked between Rudra and Nisha, the weight of her words pressing down on him. “What truth? What’s going on?”
Rudra took a deep breath, his gaze softening as he looked at Armaan. “Armaan, there’s so much I need to tell you. But right now, the most important thing is keeping you safe.”
Nisha rolled her eyes. “Always the protector, aren’t you, Rudra? But you can’t protect him from everything. Sooner or later, he’ll have to face the truth.”
“Not now,” Rudra snapped, his patience clearly wearing thin. He turned to Armaan, his expression earnest. “We need to leave. Now.”
Armaan nodded, too overwhelmed to argue. As they turned to go, Nisha’s parting words sent a shiver down his spine.
“Remember, Armaan,” she called after them. “No one is who they seem. Not even the people you trust the most.”
Rudra led Armaan out of the hall and into a waiting car. As they sped away from the chaos, Armaan’s mind was a storm of confusion and fear. What had he gotten himself into? And who was Rudra, really?
But one thing was certain—nothing would ever be the same again.
