Episode 4

CHAPTER 4:

Bella, in the girls chamber was putting on her work uniform.

She noticed her colleagues spared her suspicious glances, while others wrinkled their noses in disgust, but she didn't bother with them. Took her work tools and walked outside where she bumped into a familiar figure.

" Hi pretty face." He pats her head.

"Aren't you on duty today James?" She asks.

"I came to say hi. Oh and Janette was fired."

Bella's eyes widened with shock.

Just then, Janette walks out of the building her eyes moist indicating she had been crying.

On seeing Bella, she rushes forward and slaps her hard across the face.

This caught both James and Bella off guard.

" It is you. It's all your doing. You made the manager fire me. I am sure you bribed him with you're body. You wont get away with this. Mark my words Bella. You are nothing but a murderer." She says.

People starts gathering at the scene. Seeing this, she raised her voice.

"Yes, she is a murderer and she killed Mrs. Ann Grey."

The people around begins to murmur.

Not far away, a black rolls royce is packed.

Jeffrey's brows are tightly furrowed as he watches the scene.

''This girl never learns. Find a way of breaking her hands today. And I need more information of that man and his relationship with Bella." he says as he dials a certain number.

In the managers office, a phone rung.

glancing at the caller ID, he shakes with fear.

" H...Hello, Mr Dolson."

"I don't like the commotion going on at youre place. Find a way of resolving it before I close down the car wash." He says.

Maya walked elegantly as she approached Mark's office. She found him busy with his computer and didn't look up knowing it is Maya.

"Mark. I need to find the address where my sister stays."

"And what does that have to do with me?"he asks.

Maya walks around the table and hugs his shoulder, and slowly begin unbuttoning his shirt.

" You still have feelings for her?"

"I never had feelings for her." He says as he slowly approaches her lips, and devouring her roughly.

A knock interrupt their makeout moment and he pushed Maya away. And straightened his shirt.

"Come in "

"Sir Dolson sent this to you." She says and leaves immediately.

Mark opens the letter with a hint of anger.

"An invitation letter to the auction party? What is he planning again. I am tired of being a laughingstock because that is what he wants to see."

''Blame your useless nature. Because of it, he has the largest shares of youre company. And one mistake can render you bankrupt. Remember." Said Maya while applying lipstick on her lips.

" What did you say? I just wonder how you survived all these years with that empty skull of yours. Bella was far better than you. I know if it weren't for that accident, she would have been the greatest neurosurgeon by now." Says Mark with a smirk.

Maya's face turns ugly. "Too bad She is a murder now. I am better than her." She sways her hips as she walked out of the office.

Mark slumps in his chair. He looks at the address in his phone where Bella lives. Yesterday when he saw that video, he knew it was her. Although her body has changed so much.

He has to get there and today just to see her. Although the video had surprisingly disappeared from the internet.

In the evening while She was doing the last bit of cleaning, James appeared as usual.

"Hi Sunshine." He said and before he could get closer, someone pulled her into a hug.

"Sister. I came to pick you up today." Said Jeff .

Bella stiffened for a while. ' sister?' when did that start?

James looked at Jeff with shock evident in his eyes.

The man looked around twenty seven or eight years and Bella never told him about this mysterious man.

The way Jeffrey hugged her and circled his arms around her shoulder was more than a brother-sister relationship.

"Umm.. James this Is Jeff my.... brother and Jeff, this is James. My colleague."

The men stared at each other while a secret storm builds between them.

" You never told me you had a brother. All I know is, you have a sister and a friend April....and I guess this is the orphanage man that grandma Cecilia talked about." He said after he remembered his conversation with Cecilia.

Bella's eyes widened." She told you?"

James nods without taking his eyes from Jeffrey.

" And you are the garage dude that grandma Cecilia talked about?" asked Jeff.

Bella was more shocked " Jeff, you already met Grandma?"

Jeffrey remains quiet for a while and then nods.

" Okay. I will take my tools inside while you two familiarize with each other." She says and leaves immediately.

" James, right?"

" You seem to know about me. Yes. I am James, her very close friend...and will soon be her fiancee."

"Really? I don't need a brother in law especially from this town."

"You are a grown man. Still seeking shelter from a young woman. And what are you up to calling her sister?"

Bella came back just to see the two glaring at each other.

before Jeff could give back an answer she immediately dragged her home and waved goodbye to James.

"Jeff I can't believe that the manager increased my salary. Weird right. He says I will receive my salary this weekend."

Jeffrey smiled as he remembered his conversation with the manager.

Mark was already at Bella's compound. It was already dark and he stood outside the door waiting for her. He heard voices coming towards his direction and turned to take a look but later regretted it after seeing the familiar and not yet familiar man besides Bella.

Bella froze from the spot as she looked at him. Her heart filled with anger and disgust. Jeffrey frowns as he looks at Mark.

He walked forward smiling. After standing in front of Bella, he resumed his cold face.

"Hello. What brings you here?" He asks.

Mark's face becomes ugly as he stares at him. He was right. He was sir Dolson. But what was he doing in such a place wearing such clothes? And with Bella!

This man is really something else. He thought.

"It's okay Jeff. Let me talk to him."she says.

Jeffrey grabbed her hand and drugged her inside, slamming the door shut.

Bella was taken aback from His behaviour.

"What's up Jeff?" Bella asked as she noticed his unusual gaze at the door as if trying to bore holes on it.

" Nothing. I like the colour. Green is my favourite." He says as he came closer to her.

Bella moves back until her back hits the cold wall. Jeffrey places his two hands above her head. He leaned closed and they almost....

" Jeff? You are too close. " Says Bella.

"You should not be around that person. Understand? Okay. I will make supper today." He says with a smile as he pat her head.

Mark stood while staring at the closed door for a long time before deciding to leave.

He vowed to look through what the man was planning. Maybe he was the one that released her from prison or maybe not. Something was fishy.

Bella in her house, looked through some documents. Jeffrey joined her at the table once the food was done.

He noticed how serious she was and on realizing that they are related to her case, he becomes furious and all the care and joy he had in the afternoon dissapeared.

He intensionally drops a glass on the floor which draws her attention.

Bella's heart shook with fear as she sees the danger in his eyes.

"What kind of evidence do you want to show Bella?"

''Its going to be hard but I must clear my name." She said while rubbing her forehead, her heart beating fast as she gazed at the strange Jeff.

Something in Jeffrey's heart keep hoping that she wasn't the murder. He came to conclusion that he would make out for the years that he had her life destroyed. But he wondered if she would forgive him. Of course that won't work because she was not innocent. But what if she was?

"What if you were wronged. Would you forgive sir Dolson?"

Bella paused and looked at his eyes.

Will she even forgive that man who destroyed her life? Who didn't even give her a chance to explain. His eyes softened and he started cleaning the broken glass on the floor.

"Eat up first." He said while serving her. But his mind was on a mess.

All the evidence pointed out to her back then whichever turn you took, it was always leading to her. That is what his men and the detective said. How can she be innocent. He couldn't believe he had developed a soft spot for his mother's killer. Great. Just great. He thought.

Dylan walked out of the police station after checking the survaillance footage of five years ago.

All the tasks given to him was easy but this one was a bit complicated.

Before getting inside the car, he heard a familiar voice. Looking up, his eyes locked up with April. Her eyes widened as she looked at the familiar face. After struggling with her thoughts, a sneer appeared on her face.

"Well, well, well. look who is appearing after these five years. My rival."

"Miss April, nice to meet you?"

"I have nothing to talk to you about. I have a friend to meet." She says and starts walking away.

" You haven't met her yet? Well I know where she works."

April stopped on her track and stared at him hopefully. She had been at the community two times but couldn't make out where she exactly stayed.
