The battle continues as they start to attack the boss at the same time. Hiljyun stays behind a little bit to slowly damage the boss but Kurogawa goes in with his blinding speed relentlessly damaging the boss.
"This battle will surely be history to me…" Says Hiljyun
"Same here." Kurogawa replies to Hiljyun's claims.
Not wasting any more time, they lock in and keep attacking the boss relentlessly. It seems like the boss is weakening from all the barrages of attacks. As they're attacking the boss, the boss tries to fight back but fails since it's only distracted by Kurogawa. This is an advantage for Hiljyun since he can attack the boss while it's distracted.
"Perfect chance!" Hiljyun charged in and finished the battle.
The battle ended after that last attack. This fight is sure the definition of "it's now or nothing". While relaxing, Hiljyun gets a level up notification from the system telling him that he already reached level 10.
The rewards are as following:
Stat points: 40
Soul points: 15
Item: Fire Elemental Instance Dungeon Key
"An instance dungeon key? I should try entering it later." Hiljyun says while looking at his rewards.
"What are you saying, Hiljyun? Do you like talking to yourself like that often?" Kurogawa asks Hiljyun.
"Ah. No, not really. Hey, I have a question. Can you see this window stuff like in RPG games?" Hiljyun asks Kurogawa if he can see the system too or not?
"What are you talking about? I couldn't see anything. You're totally out of your mind if you keep saying random stuff like that, Hiljyun." Kurogawa asks why Hiljyun asked him that question.
Hiljyun looks away and looks at the system again.
"It seems like I'm the only one who can see it…. Interesting." Hiljyun mutters to himself. "Let's get ready to leave. I don't want to be in here a lot longer. It's really dark." Hiljyun says.
"You don't want to loot the treasure room first? We might find some good stuff there." Kurogawa asks Hiljyun if he wants to check the treasure room or not.
".... Sure, I guess." Hiljyun replies
They make their way to the treasure room which is not that far from here. When they arrive, the treasure room is considerably small. The treasure is not very great but one thing caught Hiljyun's eyes. While looking around in the treasure room earlier, Hiljyun gets a glimpse of a lost relic. A relic that will be useful in the future since he knew that relic was used by his former teammate before he regressed.
"That relic…" Hiljyun goes to the relic and picks it up and the system identifies what relic it is.
The details are as following:
Relic name: Rohenc Codex
Relic rank: B
Use: Rohenc Codex is an old book used to teach the way of magics and give information about the Elemental Spirits. The main Elementals Spirits are Fire, Water, Wind, Ground, Lightning. The lost Elemental Spirits are the type of spirits that were assumed to be extinct or just a fairytale. The lost Elemental Spirits are Dark, Light, Shadow, Holy, Abyss and Demon.
"Interesting description…. This might be useful in the future so I'm keeping this." Hiljyun says. He stored the Rohenc Codex in the system inventory afterwards.
"Hey, Hiljyun. Is it just me or does this wall have a weird drawing? It's like a…. Three headed dragon...." Kurogawa asks Hiljyun to come look at the drawing on the wall that he's looking currently
"Let me see." Hiljyun walks over to Kurogawa to see what the drawing is about. "It really is a three headed dragon…. That's really weird…." Hiljyun looks at the drawing again and the system automatically identifies the drawing as the drawings of "Planet Eater, Monster Zero".
Monster Zero's description are as below:
Original name: Abomination Zero
Rank: Outer Space
Ability: unknown
Title: Planets eater
Origin: The origin of Monster Zero is still unknown. As now known, this monster is not from earth or from the world connected through the Space Cracks. The only purpose of the very own creation of this monster is to destroy all worlds and conquer them.
"Planet Eater…. That sounds terrifying for a title…." Hiljyun murmurs.
"What are you murmuring to yourself, Hiljyun?" Kurogawa asks Hiljyun.
"No, this monster is…. Planet Eater, Abomination Zero…." Hiljyun says to Kurogawa to give him a glimpse of what kind of monster it is that they're seeing in the drawing right now.
"This thing is Abomination Zero? What kind of nonsense are you talking about? It couldn't be, right? It's just all a fairytale. Abomination Zero doesn't exist, right?" Kurogawa asks Hiljyun if what he's talking about is real or not.
"This is definitely real. If it's not real, why are there drawings of it in here? This proved that Abomination Zero has visited this world before and it might come for earth next…." Hiljyun says knowing that there's a high chance that Monster Zero might come for earth next and make earth its territory.
Kurogawa looks shocked at what Hiljyun is saying. "Then that means…. Another disaster like the massive dungeon break that happened 5 years ago?" Kurogawa asks Hiljyun if this is going to be bad news to earth or worse.
"I would say worse. This type of monster is a lot stronger and I'm sure…. It won't cause just chaos…. It will cause world destruction." Hiljyun implies what will happen if Monster Zero reaches earth. "For now, let's get out of here. It should take Abomination Zero at least 2,000 years to reach earth. The world that the dungeons originated from are 2,000 years away. So it should take it that long to reach earth." Hiljyun tells Kurogawa the estimated time of Abomination Zero's arrival to earth.
"So, it will take Abomination Zero that long before it arrives on earth? That's long though. We won't even be alive at that time…." Kurogawa says to Hiljyun.
"That's basically what I'm saying. We can't even change a thing. You're just a C-rank and I'm an F-rank. What can we do in this situation?" Hiljyun says and asks Kurogawa what they could do in this kind of situation.
".... I guess you're right. We don't have high status to even tell the government. But we might get some hope if we ask the guild's." Kurogawa says to Hiljyun giving him some ideas on how they can settle this kind of situation by telling this stuff to the guilds.
"Trust me. They won't accept any of this stuff. All of this is just a fairytale to them. We have no hope of convincing them to believe us." Hiljyun says to Kurogawa that they do not have hope to make the big guilds believe them.
"But, we can prove it by letting them know about this dun-." Before he can even finish his words, Hiljyun interrupts.
"We can't. The dungeon will disappear once we get out since we already cleared it and killed the boss. There's no solid evidence if we want to make them believe us." Hiljyun says that they can't prove anything since the dungeon they're currently in will disappear once they get out of it.
".... Damn it! I thought we could do something about it!" Kurogawa says in a frustrated tone.
"For now, let's just get out of this dungeon. We can't be here any longer. I'm afraid if we stay here longer, the Space Crack will close on us and we're going to be trapped in this dungeon." Hiljyun says to Kurogawa to just let it be and get out of this dungeon.
"Yeah, let's go." Kurogawa replies to Hiljyun.
They make their way to the start of the dungeon and step through the Space Crack. Right after they stepped out of it, the Space Crack closed and the dungeon disappeared just like that. Bringing the evidence and the other important stuff about Abomination Zero with it.
"Well, there goes all the stuff about Abomination Zero that we just found." Hiljyun says to expect everything.
"Yeah. It disappeared just like that…." Kurogawa says with a disappointed face.
"Well, where will you be staying tonight, Kurogawa?" Hiljyun asks Kurogawa where he will be staying for the night.
"The answer is obvious, isn't it? I will stay at a motel." Kurogawa replies to Hiljyun's question.
"Oh. I thought you're going to stay at my home tonight." Hiljyun says expecting Kurogawa to stay at his house or something. He's kind of surprised that Kurogawa will be staying at a motel. "We should exchange phone numbers. It's going to be easier if we can contact each other at any time." Hiljyun suggests that exchanging numbers is the best option right now.
"Alright then." Kurogawa opens his phone and shows his phone number and Hiljyun saves it immediately.
"Well, that's settled. See ya around, Kurogawa." Hiljyun says before saying goodbye to Kurogawa.
"Yeah. See you later." Kurogawa says his goodbye to Hiljyun and part ways.
Hiljyun instead of going straight home decides to go into the woods to find a safe spot where he can use the Fire Elemental Instance Dungeon Key. After a while, Hiljyun arrives at a safe spot where no one will come. Hiljyun takes out the key and uses it on the air and sure enough, a Space Crack appears and it leads to the Fire Elemental Dungeon. Hiljyun steps in and immediately gets a notification from the system saying about the main objective.
Dungeon: Fire Elemental Dungeon
Rank: Mystic
Objective: learn fire magics with the Fire Elemental Spirit.
Rewards: Unknown
"Learn magic? That's the objective of this dungeon? How long is it going to take, though?" Hiljyun murmurs.
The system instantly pops up informing him that 1 day here is 10 minutes on earth.
"That's really useful… I guess I just need to find the Fire Elemental Spirit and learn magic. I will learn and master magic." Hiljyun says and he started to go search for the Fire Elemental Spirit, looking determined to learn and master different types of magics.
