Chapter 02: Dead or alive

Carefully looking out, for the house maids as they are also a threat to her, because as soon as they'll see her, they'll report her to their madam

so she carefully sneeked out, and today luck was on her side, she managed to get out of the house, using the back door

finally after so many years, which felt like eternity, she got out of the hell hole

tears fell from her eyes in disbelief

'am not dreaming, right?' she asked herself, as she recalled, how many times she dreamt of escaping here, and when she woke up, se had to bare the torment of disappointment

but today's dream felt so real, even the coldness of her tears were real

'if this is a dream, then I shall never wake up from it' the thoughts wondered in her mind, as she ran through the long yard

where she met a long road, but not a single vehicle on vision, it was so late, and on the road all alone, it was obviously dangerous

but she had no other choice, she can never go back there

The present

'I don't know whether am doing the right thing or not... I don't know if am running towards danger or safety... I really don't know.. if where am going to,... my life will be worse than it already is..I just hope that.. the heavens will give me a chance to rewrite my destiny..at least before I die, ..I'll get a chance to get my revenge'

she kept running barefooted, the cruel cold wind of the night hitting her hard

without knowing where she was going, but one thing was for sure, that she'll never go back there

One the same road, there was a black car coming, cutting a corner she was close to, it almost hit her, but luckily it stopped on time, only few inches apart from her

she felt her whole body freezing, the blood in her veins flowing backwards, from the shock

and slowly her vision got blurry, falling into complete darkness, right in front of the car, that almost hit her

The Kwins mansion

"I said search for her everywhere, you must bring her here, I don't care if she's dead or alive, bring her back here, or else you are all dead, do you hear me?" Maria shouted, at the guards, her face red from anger

hearing her command, the trembling guards rushed out immediately

"Mom, what will we do if.. she goes to the police and reports us" Celine uttered in worry, but unexpectedly a heavy slap landed on her left cheek

which made her hold it in disbelief, "M..mom!"

"Shut up!" she shouted, her hand on Celine's neck, gripping her tightly "this is all your fault, why did you leave the door open?, you're the reason for this, so before things get even worse, make sure you find her, or else.." she didn't finish her sentence, but threw her aside, and left

Celine's face turned purple, "You b*tch, this is all your fault, I'll make you pay, once I lay my hands on you" she swore, with a devilish look, while holding her bruised cheek
