Red Lights
"Boss! Boss!" Suban burst into my office. I continued writing. Not glancing up. "Yes?" The pencil moving on the paper was quite loud.
"Boss! There's... A person! He said he was recruited in your gang!" I glanced up, a little surprised. "Is that so?" I asked flatly. Suban nodded. Ii sighed and got up.
"And where is he?" I stood and looked up at Suban, being two inches shorter.
"He's outside the office door, boss." Suban spoke, a small smile on his face. I scoffed. "Whatever." I walked over to the door and opened it, just to see a chest. He was quite taller than me, I was a bit surprised, but scoffed.
"Who are you?" I looked up at him, a dead-panned expression on my face. "Me?" He asked, smiling like a foolish dog. "Yes, you." I scoffed. "I'm the new recruit!" He booped my nose. Did he just... Boop my nose? "Hm. I don't remember recruiting you." I looked up at him, glaring at him, for booping my nose.
"I was on the phone with you, though!" He frowned a little. I couldn't help but find it cute. "Whatever... Just, come in." I stepped out of the way, he walked in, his stride was very...confident for someone who acted like a puppy. I stared at him. We're about the same size... The man smiled. "Wow! I'm taller than you, hyung!" I froze when he said that. W-what is he a telekinesis? And...are you serious? 'Hyung"?
"Ah. It seems you are." I said flatly and patted his head. His head bopped down everytime I patted it, in my world, I was doing it gently. "Hey, Hyung. Don't you think that's a little too rough?" He grabbed my wrist, his tone become deeper. I cleared my throat.
"I didn't notice. Sorry." He smiled, like there was flowers radiating off him. "Hm. Whatever." I turned my head away, with a straight face, I put my hand in my pocket.
"You're excused now." I looked at the younger man. He smiled.
"Don't you wanna know my name?" He pointed to his face, smiling. I scoffed. "Fine." He smiled. "My name is, Sun-yung." He smiled and looked at me for a response. "Nice name." - Is all I could come up with. He kept smiling though. What the hell? Does he never get offended? So...weird.
He waved and then walked out of the room. Suban looked at me. "Boss, I dont trust him." He said bluntly. I glanced at him. "Why's that?" I asked with a bit of curiosity. "He's...a little off." He glanced at me.
"i don't think so...He seems sweet." Suban looked at me dumbfounded. He was about to talk, but I cut him off. "I have to finsih some paperwork, get out." I glanced at him. He frowned in protest, but got out anyway.
I walked to mu desk, sitting down in my black-leather chair. I looked down at all the paperwork. Ugh...Why does my father have to be such a awful chairman?... Jesus, giving me all this paperwork, even though I take down multiple gangs a day. I sighed while thinking to myself.
So much work...
I started to jot down the words on the paper, blinking idly, I could feel and see the sun going down. I sighed, and finished my paperwork. I put the pen down with a clack sound.
I leaned bac in my black-leatcher chair, the wheels on the bottom, rolling back as I relaxed. I glanced near the door.
Hm? No one's come to bother me? How...peculiar.
Just as I thought that. I could feel my eyes blinking slower and slower. I fell asleep, in my black-leather chair.
Even though I was asleep, I could feel the wind from the open window blow on my face gently.
