Episode 8

Gianna returned home happy; she had finally healed someone, and it wasn't a little bird or a rabbit; it was a huge dragon. Although she was young, she healed a dragon. She couldn't wait to tell her grandparents what she had done. Her grandmother listened to her happily; her eyes sparkled as she spoke of what she did; it was exciting to hear her.

"It was fantastic, wonderful, I saved a dragon, you hear, a dragon, I don't know if he understood me, but I helped him." She said happily and her grandparents looked at her proudly.

"Daughter, I am very proud of you, you don't know how much, you see, you are not weak at all." Said her grandfather.

"Yes, grandfather, I was delighted with those creatures, what do you know about them?, I met the dragon king's daughter." He smiled and answered.

"I know what everyone knows, daughter, they are born from dragon eggs and are loyal to the dragon kingdom. Those of the dragon kingdom are humans with a noble heart, warriors, and dragons fight alongside those humans." She nodded.

"I thought the king was young, not with grown children." He smiled.

"The dragon king is married to his queen, he has grown children and you met the youngest." He said.

"He must be getting on in years, I haven't seen him in a long time, but he must be over sixty years old and he rules his kingdom with nobility." He says.

"They have the best artillery and being able to ride one of those creatures gives them an advantage over everyone else." He explains.

"You're very interested, baby." Says her grandmother.

"Oh, Grandma, it's just that they're wonderful; it would be great to be a warrior and ride on one of them." She laughs excitedly and her grandmother says to her:

"Don't let me hear you, your possessive alpha." She nods.

"I know and I won't tell him."

After that the days went by and Jackson was still the perfect man; every moment she spent with him was unique; the love of her life was that man.

"Hello beautiful, how are you getting ready for tomorrow?" Jackson says at her bedroom door and his eyes rake over her with desire; he didn't warn her he was coming and she was only wearing shorts and a tank top; her hair was loose, she had combed it and forgotten her ponytail.

"Hi, honey, what are you doing here? I wasn't expecting you." She approaches and he kisses her, eats her lips and trails his kisses down her neck.

"You are beautiful, honey." She sighed and kissed him, surrendering to the desire and love she felt for him. Tomorrow would be the most giving wedding, she thought, and she pulled out her blouse and looked at how beautiful she was in that pink lace bra. The man was lost, and she began to take off his shirt.

"My heaven, you are my beautiful, beautiful." He said as he removed the shirt from her body when he went for her pants.

"Gianna… Jackson… They're here, come down; there's something last minute to see." Mariana said and he ignored her and continued to kiss her, brought his hands to her bra and…

"Gianna, open up and come out, Jackson… Mariana's voice was insistent, so she sighed and got dressed.

"We're coming, we're talking." She said and she quickly grabbed her usual clothes and put them on.

Jackson hugged Gianna and kissed her again and again.

"Hurry up." Mariana shouted again.

Jackson cupped Gianna's face in his two hands and kissed her.

"You're beautiful, pretty and if we're going somewhere else afterwards I need to be with you today." She nodded.

"Sure, honey, but after tomorrow I'll be all yours." Her eyes flashed red.

"You already are, forever okay." He said and she smiled.

"Yes, Orestes, forever… I love you, so much, so very much both of you." They walked out and went downstairs where Mariana tired them out with things that were already ready and then he had to go. It didn't give them time to be together.

He, before saying goodbye, kissed her again and hugged her tightly, inhaling her scent.

"Goodbye, my pretty one." He said and she was left happy and in love.

She slept all night thinking about what she would do tomorrow.

A new day dawned. Everything was perfect; she spent the whole day busy, getting ready and finalizing details. The hour flew by, she put on the dress she chose and got ready, as beautiful as possible; she was going to be queen and she had to look the part.

The dress was a corset style with a sweetheart neckline, delicate sleeves on the sides with transparencies and a bit of lace, her wide princess style skirt with a silver embroidery on top and a beautiful diamond crown that belonged to Jackson's mother.

Gianna's dress

The young woman left in a car with her grandparents. Her father, sister and stepmother were there at the place.

The drive was twenty minutes long and stopped at the wedding venue high on a mountain, near a beautiful cliff. There were the tables, the flowers, the glitter and luxury and an altar in the distance with an arch of white flowers and the groom waiting.

Gianna smiled on the way. Her grandparents told her how beautiful she was and how much they loved her.

Many packs were gathered; the old king was at the altar to officiate the ceremony. The woman looked, and the moon was present and she felt her heart leap in her chest. She looked at the moon and gave thanks to her mother and the goddess. The young woman walked down the flower path; there was Jackson looking very handsome in an elegant black suit created for him.

The flower arch at the altar was so large that it had aisles on either side; the man smiled as his grandfather gave her away; her father never showed up, in fact neither did her stepmother and sister.

The mountain was located at a neutral point, the cliff gave a beautiful view and the unique flowers that grew there gave it the perfect touch.

When the young woman reached the altar with all eyes on her, her grandfather gave her away and stepped back and Jackson looked at her and said.

"Today I marry, today I will give the pack a wonderful moon, today I marry someone worthy of me and to be queen, today I marry the woman I love." He said and those words were perfect; she almost cried with joy, but Jackson stretched out his hand to the right where there was an aisle of laughter and from there came out Mariana in a beautiful princess style wedding dress.

The look on Gianna's face and everyone else's was one of shock.

The young woman didn't understand at what point she had fallen asleep; she must still be asleep in the car, but no.

"Did you really think that I, the alpha king, the supreme, a being in charge of many packs, would be with you, an omega who on top of it all humiliated my future wife for so long." He laughed scornfully.

"You're delusional, you're a despicable being; I had to restrain my urge to push you away because you disgust me." He continued.

"A weakling is not worthy of the crown." he said and ripped it from her hair, leaving it dishevelled. Today I marry Mariana. She just shook her head, crying silently, everyone was murmuring, her grandparents wanted to approach, but they wouldn't let them; some warriors were holding them back; her father looked at her with contempt, as did her stepmother.

"No, no… This is a nightmare, I'm not here…" she murmured.

Gianna's heart no longer existed. It was broken, though more was missing.

"I, Jackson Makris, supreme king of all Lycans, reject you Gianna Garza as my moon and queen of this pack." A pain as if a hundred silver daggers pierced her chest, and she fell to the ground, but she sighed, wiped her tears abruptly and said:

"I, Gianna Garza, accept your rejection; Jackson Makris, supreme king of all Lycans, I renounce to be your mate, your moon, your queen or to have any kind of bond with you." She said with her forehead held high and looking at him fixedly, but she was broken; the pain was unbearable.

"May you be very happy with the woman you deserve, because believe me, your majesty, you are the one for each other." Gianna walked backwards, watching her grandparents cry, but they were not allowed to approach her; warriors were holding them back.

With nothing left to lose and with the howl of pain from her wolf in her head, she continued to back away. As she ripped off her veil and sleeves, thick tears streamed down her face and when she was far enough away from the guests, that's when her grandmother and grandfather broke free and ran towards her. The others turned to see how the young woman did not stop. …

"Honey no… Stop, breathe." Said her grandmother.

"My little one, sparkles… Don't do it, come on, let's get out of here, but walk towards me." Said her grandfather; everyone's face was full of terror, Jackson's eyes were about to pop out of his head, Gianna's father was terrified and everyone approached. Mariana just rolled her eyes and said she was just being dramatic. Everything was chaos; she kept backing away with her arms open and determined to stop suffering.
