The Blackwood estate, grand and luxurious, was slowly becoming familiar to Myra Morante. Although she was surrounded by opulence, she sought ways to make her new life feel more like home. In the afternoon, Myra decided to invite her best friend Lydia over for a visit. Lydia's arrival was a welcome change from the formal atmosphere that had defined Myra’s life since the wedding. Lydia’s eyes sparkled with excitement. “Well, since we’re out shopping, why don’t we make a stop at the makeup store? It could be fun!” Myra nodded, grateful for the distraction. They headed to a nearby makeup store, its shelves lined with an array of vibrant products.

As they browsed, Lydia looked at Myra with admiration.“Honestly, Myra, you’re already so stunning, you don’t need much makeup at all,” Lydia said, her voice filled with genuine praise. “But a few touches could enhance your natural beauty even more. Let’s pick out some essentials that you can use to accentuate what you’ve already got.” Myra blushed at Lydia’s compliment. “Thank you, Lydia."

They selected a few high-quality items: a subtle foundation, a neutral eyeshadow palette, and a soft pink lipstick. Lydia made sure to choose shades that would complement Myra’s complexion and enhance her natural features.

“Lydia, you always know how to pick the perfect products,” Myra said. “I think this shade of lipstick would look amazing on you.” Lydia grinned, clearly pleased with the compliment. “Thanks, Myra! I was actually thinking the same thing. Let’s try it out.”

“You look fantastic, Lydia,” Myra said, genuinely admiring her friend’s choice. “The colors really bring out your eyes and complement your look perfectly.”

Lydia beamed. “You always know how to make me feel good! I’m excited to use these.” At the checkout, Myra turned to Lydia with a warm smile. “Thanks for coming along. It’s been so much fun."

Returning to the estate, Lydia’s cheerfulness continued to lift Myra’s spirits. They enjoyed tea in the garden, and the fresh air was a pleasant break from her usual routine.
