The Omega of the Dragon

The Omega of the Dragon

Episode 1

This is the story of a beautiful romance, a cute young woman who was chosen as the dragon's wife. In the kingdom of Drinel, every 10 years they offer a young woman as a sacrifice to the dragon so that he will protect their kingdom from demons, wild beings that attack to devour human souls. So, a virgin maiden must be sacrificed, she is handed over to the dragon, and he consumes her mana and in return, he protects them. As the story begins, young Alison is chosen to be the sacrifice. She, already accepting her fate and afraid, gets lost in the forest, where she saves an attractive boy who turns out to be the prince of the kingdom. He, captivated by young Alison, decides to save her, so he proposes marriage and asks her to marry him in secret. That way, the dragon can take her away. Alison, who had also fallen in love with the prince, accepts his proposal.

Of course, when the king and queen find out about this madness, they try to separate the young couple, even asking their son to retract the marriage. Since there is no sacrifice, the dragon could become enraged and destroy their kingdom. Alison's family, not wanting to lose their daughter and knowing that she has married the prince, propose a solution: give another sacrifice to the dragon. They give the king and queen their second child, a beautiful young man with pink hair and beautiful yellow eyes, whose mana is greater than Alison's. However, the king and queen think that the dragon might get angry if they give him a boy.

"Don't worry, your Majesties, Beryl is an omega. The dragon won't care. Years ago, an omega was already given as a sacrifice," says Alison's father.

When the king and queen hear such great news, they accept and Beryl is left in the palace, where the queen orders him locked in a room so that no one touches him and he does not escape. Beryl was the bastard son of the count, Alison's father, a son born from his affair with a maid from his mansion. So, they didn't care about handing him over, if by doing so, their daughter would be saved and also Alison could be queen in the future and they would have greater prestige.

Beryl, for his part, since he was born, has grown up despised by his father and by the countess, who hated him for being the fruit of her husband's affair with a simple maid. Beryl grew up a timid child, obeying everything that was asked of him, hoping to thus gain a little of his father's affection, but it never happened and when the time came, the dragon took him away.

Alison and the prince continued to live out their romance, until one night, Alison learns that Beryl was given to the dragon and that, furthermore, he was her half-brother. Faced with this, Alison decides to cut ties with her family, because she was furious. She couldn't believe that her parents would do such an atrocity, and all for ambition. Determined to take revenge for Beryl, Alison decides to find the dragon and defeat him so that no one else ever has to be sacrificed, despite the fact that the king and queen warn her not to disturb the dragon. The prince accompanies Alison, finding the dragon in a castle in the mountains. There, Alison confronts him with the help of the prince and together they manage to kill the dragon.

But, the consequences of this lead to the kingdom being attacked by demons, so Alison and the prince try to find a solution. This being, to use the dragon's core to create a barrier in the kingdom. The core is placed in a hall of the kingdom's palace, where a spell is recited, thus creating a barrier that prevents demons from entering the kingdom. Alison and the prince are seen as heroes and get their happy ending.

"What a stupid ending, 'heroes?' They were the ones who caused the kingdom's woes," Amir thought after finishing that book.

But Amir never thought he would end up in that story he hated so much, and worst of all, he would wake up in the body of that omega whose life was miserable and ended up being a sacrifice.

And now, there he was, looking at himself in the river. His face was a bit dirty, but that didn't stop him from being cute. He had beautiful yellow eyes and pink hair.

《I'm a piece of gum.》 he thought to himself.

He let out a sigh, he still couldn't believe that he would end up in that place, let alone in a character whose ending was tragic. But no, that ending will not be like that. He is willing to change everything, he will not be a sacrifice, he will run far away and no one will know where to find him.

And so, his escape plan failed. Just as he was leaving that house where they treated him worse than a dog, the family knights caught him. The maids bathed him and put clean clothes on him. And now, there he was, locked in a room in the palace, for tomorrow would be the day of the sacrifice. His plan to escape had failed.

"Get me out of here, you damn motherfuckers! You're taking advantage of the fact that I'm skinny and short, but you'll see, I'm going to claw your eyes out."

He yelled and hit the door with a chair. He was like that for hours, until finally they brought him dinner and he calmed down, although while he ate, he cried, because this could be his last supper.

"Damn you." he sobbed. "Don't think I forgave you. You giving me food doesn't stop me from cursing you. You're all assholes." he yelled.

After eating, he wanted to escape through the window, but when he looked, he was in the highest tower and without a doubt, jumping from there was not a good idea, because he would not break one bone, he would break them all. Now there was only one option left, to beg the dragon not to eat him. Maybe if he cries, he'll take pity on him. That's what the protagonists of the novels do and they fall in love with them, right? If he does the same, maybe the dragon will fall in love and they'll get married and have pink little dragons.
