Alexander

When the doctor left my brother's room, I followed her with my gaze and I could see how nervous she was when she left. I turned to Dante to tell him that I would be right back, and I saw him with a goofy smile.

Alexander - What?

Dante - Don't think I didn't notice you checking out Dr. Smith.

Alexander - What are you talking about?

Dante - Don't play dumb, you liked the doctor, right? And don't you dare deny it, I know that stupid look you get.

Alexander - Fine, yes, I liked her and I've decided to make her my wife.

Dante - (smiles goofily) Wow, no surprise there. I knew that you would like her as soon as you saw her. I know she's a good person and an excellent doctor. What are you waiting for to tell her to come with us? I don't know about you, but I'm ready to get out of here.

Alexander - Well, get ready, because we're leaving as soon as they remove that. Saul's already bringing your clothes.

I left the room and went to look for my future wife. I saw her and called to her, she stopped and I told her I wanted to talk to her. I accompanied her to the nurses' station and watched as she said goodbye to the nurse. She whispered something to her and I knew she was talking about me because her face gave her away. She smiled like a fool and came closer to me. We went directly to her office. Upon entering, she continued to call me by my last name so I turned around to tell her to call me by my name, but she bumped into me and I held her so she wouldn't fall. Holding her in my arms gives me a peace I've never experienced. I want to hold her forever, to make her feel safe. I want to make her happy.

We talked and I decided to be direct so I expressed my desire to make her my wife. I saw her surprise and her reply, but I am not about to lose her, no. I want her with me. She wanted to tell me something, but a call came in. She answered and just by looking at her, I knew there was trouble coming. I could hear them wanting her to leave, and when she hung up, I saw her start to gather her things and go to tell me something, but I made it clear to her that she was not leaving here without me.

We were on our way to my brother's room when the same nurse from earlier stopped her to ask her to check on a child who appeared to have arrived in pain and the doctor on duty had not arrived. She turned to look at me and told me to go with my brother. I took her by the arm, came closer, and said:

Alexander - Dear Doctor, you will not leave without me, understand? I want to protect you. (I see her looking at me with her beautiful brown eyes). I'll go get my brother, but don't leave without me, okay?

Andrea - You don't even know me, Alexander. Don't worry so much about a stranger who only treated your brother.

Alexander - On the contrary, what little I know about you, I love, hence the proposal I made to you. Now I will go for Dante and I will see you here so we can go, agreed?

She only nodded in response. I let her do her job and went to my brother's room, but first I signaled to one of my men who was dressed as a civilian, this to avoid making people nervous here, and I said:

Alexander - Good, she is your future boss, therefore she will be your boss, so you are going to protect her with your life. I'm going to get Dante and I'll be right back. Don't stop taking care of her, anything at all let me know, alright?

Guard - Yes, sir.

I went straight to Dante's room, I entered and there was Saul with him.

Alexander - Ready to go?

Dante - Sure brother, I'm just waiting for my discharge. Where's sis-in-law?

Alexander - She's checking on a child, it seems the doctor on duty hasn't arrived yet, so let's go see her at the nurses' station, they can discharge you there.

Dante - Did she say yes to marrying you?

Alexander - She hasn't given me her answer yet, but she's having problems with her mother and wants to leave the country. I won't leave her alone, I'll take her with me to Ireland.

Dante - And what if she says no?

Alexander - Shut up, idiot, now let's go, I don't want to waste any more time here.

Dante - I agree, let's go get the sister-in-law then. When are we leaving for Ireland?

Alexander - If nothing else comes up, tomorrow, so let's get going. Saul, make sure the jet is ready to leave.

Saul - Yes, boss.
