Episode 7

Due to the increasing pain, Nana decided to go to the city doctor to find out what her illness really was. The pain was no longer like menstrual cramps; it was so severe that Nana couldn't sleep all night. Because breasts are prone to potentially fatal diseases, Nana was very worried that she might have cancer. Accompanied by Dani, they went to a large hospital for a check-up. On the way, Nana kept groaning, holding a hot water bag used for compressing, hoping the pain would subside even for a little while.

They arrived at the very large hospital and met with an internist. Nana immediately had her health checked, including the cause of her severe pain in her ample breasts. The results were not immediately available because it would take some time to wait. For now, Nana had to be hospitalized to calm down. Her pain also subsided slightly after being given medication by the doctor. The temporary suspicion was breast cancer, and it affected both breasts. Usually, it's only one, either the right or the left. Nana felt pain in both, and if the cancer had spread, they would have to be removed.

"What if it really is cancer? I don't want to be flat, Mas," Nana whined, lying in the hospital bed.

"Hopefully, it's not cancer. But even if it is, the best course of action is to have them removed," Dani said faithfully by her side.

"My fate is so bad! Why does this disease have to happen to me? Nani is still here," Nana cursed.

Dani didn't respond to Nana's words, who would rather have her sister get cancer. Maybe this illness would make Nana a little better and not arrogant towards other girls in the village.

"Dad and Mom will be here a little late," Dani said after reading a message.

"Tell them not to make a fuss. I don't want the whole village to know I'm sick like this," Nana still worried about unimportant things.

"They know, they wouldn't just talk to people." Dani replied.

Nana didn't answer and went back to her phone. She felt a bit calmer because the pain had subsided after taking the medication the doctor had given her. Soon the doctor came with the results of Nana's examination. He frowned slightly after reading it.

"How is it, Doc?!" Nana was impatient.

"Your body is in good condition; there's no disease found at all. The suspicion of cancer is also not proven; there's no illness at all," explained the doctor.

"But why does my chest hurt?" Nana wondered, confused.

There was no explanation from the doctor about her condition. Nana immediately got out of bed to go home. There was no illness in her body, but she wondered why her breasts were so sore that she couldn't sleep all night. Dani settled the bill and immediately got into the car to go home with his mistress. On the way, Nana kept wondering about her illness.

Two hours later, they arrived back in the village. Nana went straight into the house. Her parents, who were waiting, didn't scold her. It was Dani who explained Nana's condition. They breathed a sigh of relief because there was no serious illness. Bu Asih went into her daughter's room to see how Nana was doing now.

"Still hurting? Or any changes after taking the medicine?" asked Bu Asih.

"The doctor said I'm not sick, Bu! Don't tell me Nani is jealous of me and sought out witchcraft?" Nana accused her sister.

"Oh God, Nana! Your sister wouldn't do that." Bu Asih exclaimed.

"How do we know? Can you read Nani's mind, Mom?!" Nana snapped, feeling that her mother was defending Nani.

Bu Asih kept reciting prayers of repentance because of Nana's words, which would surely anger her sister if she heard them. How could Nana's mouth be so quick to speak ill of her own sister?

"Nani is ugly, and maybe she's jealous because men only propose to me. She must be the one who put a spell on me." Nana insisted.

"Enough, Na! Stop blaming your sister." Bu Asih scolded.

"What's going on here?!" Pak Irwin came immediately after hearing the commotion.

"Your mother doesn't believe me! The doctor said there's nothing wrong with me, but my chest hurts like it's being stabbed. This could be Nani's doing, Dad." Nana was sure her father would defend her.

Slap.

This time, Pak Irwin was furious because Nana was going too far. She had often insulted her sister for being ugly, and now she was accusing her as if Nani was the source of the problem. Right now, Nani was still staying at Bude Las's house so she wouldn't be constantly hurt by Nana's insults, but now she was being accused of bewitching Nana out of jealousy.

"Your sister is ugly because she looks like me! But that doesn't mean you can insult her as you please. Nani left because of your insults! Now you're even blaming your illness on her," Pak Irwin growled.

"Oh God, be patient, Pak." Bu Asih held her husband's arm to calm him down.

Meanwhile, Nana was already crying, holding her cheek that hurt from her father's slap. Pak Irwin was very strict when his children went too far. Ugly or beautiful, they were all his children whom he loved and cherished equally without any favoritism.

Pak Irwin immediately left Nana's room, feeling a bit remorseful for hurting his child. However, Nana's mouth was truly outrageous. How could she be sick like this and accuse someone else of witchcraft? Of course, her parents were furious about Nana's behavior.

"Rest. I don't want to hear you blaming your sister anymore," Bu Asih warned her eldest daughter.

There was no answer from Nana because she was already crying. The pain returned, and she immediately took the medicine the doctor had given her. The medicine slightly eased the pain, but her face was also hot from the slap.
