The following morning, Adebayo awoke with renewed energy. He knew that today, he would get to talk to Rose again. Reaching for his phone, he navigated his social media app called WhatsApp, his heart fluttering as he saw her name. '' Good morning, Rose.'' Adebayo sent, moments later he sees a response from her '' Good morning, Adebayo! How are you today?'' Rose's message read, her words radiating warmth and excitement. Adebayo, with a smile on his face,  quickly typed out a reply. '' I'm doing great, Rose! Thanks for asking.

Over the day, Adebayo and Rose continued to chat, their conversation flowing easily. But as the afternoon grew close, Rose announced that she had to go. ''Adebayo, I'm sorry to cut our conversation short,'' she wrote. ''But I need to go take care of something. We'll talk again soon, though. Maybe in school today?'' Adebayo, though disappointed, knew better than to push the issue. '' Sure thing, Rose,'' he replied. ''I' 'll see you in school.''

As they wore on, Adebayo and  Nadia finally crossed paths on campus, their paths diverging only to converge once more. As they saw each other, their faces lit up with recognition, their hearts quickening as they began to chat. ''Adebayo, how 's your day been going?'' Rose asked, her smile broad and warm. ''It's been great,'' Adebayo replied, his tone light and teasing. '' But I think it's about to get a whole lot better now that I'm talking to you.'' Nadia, her eyes shining with mirth, laughed at Adebayo's remark. ''Oh, Adebayo,'' She replied, her voice teasing. ''I can already tell that you're a charmer. But I'll let you in on a secret-I think I'm going to have a pretty good day too, now that I'm talking to you.'' Adebayo, his smile growing wider, felt a surge of confidence.

In the weeks that followed, Adebayo and Rose's connection continued to flourish, their bond strengthening with each passing day. As they grew closer, whispers of their relationship spread across the campus, the student's curiosity piqued by the pair's frequent sightings together. '' Adebayo, I've been wondering..... do you feel a certain way about me as I do about you? I mean......I think I may have fallen in love with you, and I need to know  if you feel the same way.'' Adebayo, his mind racing, struggled to find the right words. '' Rose,'' he began, his voice unsteady, ''I've wanted to tell you for so long....I do feel the same way. I've been in love with you for a while now, since the first time I saw you. You're so beautiful, so kind, so intelligent..... I just can't believe I will be with you now.''

Rose, her cheeks flushed pink, smiled up at him, her expression radiating warmth.  They both stared into each other's eyes and after some moment, Adebayo mustered the courage to take the next step. ''Rose,'' he said, his voice filled with excitement, '' Would you do me the honor of being my girlfriend?'' Nadia, her eyes sparkling with joy. nodded enthusiastically. ''Adebayo, I would love to be your girlfriend.''

The campus was abuzz with the news of Adebayo and Rose's budding romance, as their relationship blossomed into a full-fledged love story. Many of the girls on campus, who had once harbored secret desires for Adebayo, now found themselves jealous of Rose, their envy palpable as they watched the happy couple together. Yet, despite the occasional whisper of envy or gossip, Adebayo and Rose remained inseparable, their love deepening with each passing day. They shared whispered secrets and stolen kisses, their hearts beating in unison as they explored the depths of their newfound affection.
