Adebayo, a young man of striking handsomeness, was an awe-inspiring figure on campus, his height of 6ft, with a chiselled physique that seemed to ooze confidence, left many female students swooning. His popularity among the fairer sex was legendary, for he always seemed surrounded by adoring fans. But it wasn't just his good looks that drew people to him; he was also an exceptional student, topping his class from his first year until now, his final year. Although girls always surrounded Adebayo he never seemed to have an interest in any of them because he believed he would never be in a relationship with a girl in his school year. This was his belief until one faithful day.

one morning, Adebayo was on his way to class, and as always he was with his and a bevvy of admirers. As they all approached the classroom where they were to have their lecture, a young lady came rushing out, colliding with Adebayo and knocking him off balance. Filled with irritation, Adebayo prepared to scold the young woman, but as his eyes met hers, he was left speechless. In that fleeting moment, it was as though the rest of the world faded away, and all that remained was the captivating gaze of the lady before him.

As Adebayo took in the sight before him, he found himself breathless. Standing before him was a short, light-skinned beauty, her features striking in their perfection. Her hair, braided into intricate designs, framed a face that radiated both intelligence and sweetness, and Adebayo found himself utterly captivated. Adebayo, still under the spell of the young woman's ethereal beauty quickly stammered out an apology before she turned to leave. ''Oi, Adebayo!'' they called, laughing at his sudden change of behaviour. '' What's got you so distracted? And why did you apologize to that Shawty? Anyway class is starting let's enter!'' shaking off his daze, Adebayo allowed his friends to usher him into the classroom. But even as he took his seat, his mind was still filled with thoughts of the lady who had left him speechless. Still lost in his thought, he suddenly heard a voice as though calling him from afar. Startled from his reverie by the insistent voice, Adebayo blinked, as if waking from a dream. '' Adebayo! Adebayo!'' the voice shouted and he quickly turned his gaze to who was calling him and to his surprise it was his lecturer. '' What's wrong with you?'' the lecturer asked, his voice growing impatient. '' I asked you a question, young man!''

Adebayo realizing his inattention, quickly apologized and proceeded to answer the question asked. As the lecture grew to a close, Adebayo, his thoughts still consumed by the young lady, leapt from his seat the moment the lecturer left the class. Without a word to his friends, he dashed from the classroom, his heart pounding in his chest. He knew he had to find her, he had to speak with her. He ran outside weaving through the crowds of students outside, his eyes searching for the lady who had left him so enraptured. Adebayo's search was in vain. As he roamed the corridors and crowded halls, he saw no trace of her. It was as though she had vanished.  Frustrated and dejected, he decided to go home leaving his friends behind.
