The Son Of Darkness Is Mine

The Son Of Darkness Is Mine

Episode 1:

The grand hall of Ardent Palace buzzed with excitement. Its shiny marble floors and tall, arched ceilings echoed with the quiet whispers of the nobles. Tonight, an important envoy had arrived, and the kingdom’s leaders were eager to make a good impression. Servants hurried around, making sure everything was perfect under the careful watch of Prince Adrian.

Prince Adrian of Ardent stood by a large window, looking down at the busy city below. The sun was setting, casting long shadows across the land. Dressed in his finest clothes, he looked calm and confident. But inside, he felt uneasy.

Few knew his secret: Adrian was the son of Darkness, a powerful and ancient being. This gave him strange and powerful abilities, but it also made his life hard. He had to constantly fight the darkness inside him, a burden he carried alone.

“Your Highness,” said Lord Cedric, Adrian’s chief advisor, bowing. “The envoy has arrived.”

Adrian nodded, his face unreadable. “Let’s proceed.”

As he walked down the grand staircase, the air smelled of perfume and fresh flowers. The guests, dressed in their best clothes, turned to look at him, their faces polite but curious. When the ballroom doors opened, the envoy and his group stepped inside.

Among them was Elara, a beautiful young woman with long blonde hair. She wore a simple but elegant green dress that matched her fair skin. Her blue eyes were bright and striking. As she entered, whispers ran through the crowd.

Adrian’s eyes met hers, and for a moment, it felt like the world stopped. He felt a strange connection to her, one he couldn’t explain. Elara looked back at him calmly, not bothered by the attention.

“Your Highness,” said Lord Faelan, the envoy, “may I introduce Elara, my aide and companion.”

Adrian bowed slightly. “Welcome to Ardent, Lady Elara. I hope you find our hospitality pleasing.”

Elara smiled softly. “Thank you, Prince Adrian. It is an honor to be here.”

The evening went on like a normal royal event. Guests talked and laughed while soft music played. But Adrian couldn’t stop thinking about Elara. She moved through the crowd gracefully, standing out even among the nobles.

Later, Adrian found her near a window that looked out onto the moonlit gardens. “Seems like we both wanted a break from the crowd,” he said casually.

Elara turned to him, thoughtful. “Yes. All this grandeur can be a bit overwhelming.”

Adrian studied her, impressed by her calmness. “You seem very composed. Not many people visiting our court are like that.”

Elara smiled softly. “Maybe it’s not about staying calm, but finding your place in the chaos.”

Her words struck a chord with Adrian. Before he could reply, Lord Faelan came over. “Sorry to interrupt, Your Highness. Lady Elara, we should get back to our duties.”

Adrian nodded, his eyes following her. “Of course. Lady Elara, I look forward to talking with you again.”

Elara smiled knowingly. “As do I, Prince Adrian.”

As she walked away, Adrian felt a spark of anticipation.
