This worsened the situation. She asked, "Mom, dad should take his family to the amusement park. Other children's father take them to the amusement park. Dad should also take us to the amusement park." I used mother in law's excuse to cover it up and said, "Baby, grandma told you that your father is ill that's why he can't come to the amusement park with us. Be good and go with me." I offered mother in law to go with us. She said that she had an appointment with her friends so she couldn't go with us. We went to her favourite amusement park, then to her fav restaurant and ice-cream parlor. We set off from home at 12 o'clock and returned at 6 o'clock.

When we returned home, we were welcomed by Albert's grumpy face as he opened the door for us. He asked us in an inquiring manner, "Where were you two?" Susie was about to speak but I silenced her and told her to go to her room and then said, Why do you care about it? It's none of your business and if you think it's your business, go and answer Susie's questions about us. She's always asking me why daddy doesn't eat with us. Why does he always talk rudely to you. If you can answer her questions then come to me to talk abut our business and you can give her

ease of mind then come to me to talk about our business. Humph!" After saying this, I hurried to the Susie. She was checking all the toys that we bought. When I entered the room, Susie said, "Mom, I won't ask you any questions anymore." I was stunned by this and after a pause, I said, "Baby, ask me as many questions as you want." I said this to her that I could at least know what was going on in her mind. It is said that when you share your problems with someone, it reduces the troubles to half.

If you keep your grievances in your heart rather than sharing it with someone, you can even go crazy. Susie replied with a dissatisfied "OKAY". It was almost time for dinner. I asked mother in law what would she like to eat. She told me to cook something light for her as she had a heavy meal with her friends. I made vegetable soup for everyone. The first one to sit on the kitchen table was Albert.

I was so shocked to see him that the bowl almost slipped from my hand. After him, Susie came and the mother in law at last.

I served the food and then we all started to eat. This was the first time in my life that I felt the warmth of a complete family. I was overwhelmed with joy but it didn't last long.
