Carla looked at her walk-in closet, which was partially empty after she threw away the tacky clothes and shoes Ivanka had chosen.

She then stared at the contents of her wardrobe, with only the clothes she had bought before Ivanka had free access to the Miller Mansion remaining.

Miller is Carla's biological father's surname, as the owner of the Mansion, and the Miller Group, which Bastian manages, replacing Carla's father after he died.

Carla took a knee-length dress with an elastic waistband.

Carla then put it on, and her appearance immediately showed a change.

She looked more beautiful and fresh, very pleasing to the eye, with her face looking clean without heavy make-up.

Carla then grabbed her small bag, after putting in the valuables she needed to go out of the Mansion.

She remembered that after she woke up from her fainting, Ivanka would come with Bastian to provoke her step-uncle.

And she at that time, would throw herself into Bastian's arms, but then Bastian would push her away roughly, after hearing Ivanka's explanation.

Ivanka said that she deliberately threw herself into the pool to frame Ivanka, so that Bastian would kick Ivanka out of the Miller Mansion.

With Ivanka's soft and sad voice, Bastian believed every word Ivanka said.

After being reborn, Carla knew what would happen in a few minutes.

"Miss... where are you going?" Tina asked, looking at Carla in surprise.

"I'm leaving first, and... I might be home late!" Carla said as she walked out of her room.

"Huh? Home late? Where are you going? You never go out of the Mansion, let alone come home at night, Miss!" Tina retorted, chasing after Carla, who was walking quickly leaving the room.
