PAST LIFE - (Evelyn as Ellara)

The village erupted in chaos as Ellara was dragged through the muddy streets by an angry mob, their cries of “TRAITOR! SHE IS A WITCH!” Echoing through the night. The faces of those she once healed were now twisted with hatred, their eyes filled with betrayal.

On the ancient stone bridge, the night air was thick with mist and cold. Ellara stood at the edge, trembling as she faced a woman. Her face was blurred but she could sense she was speaking but couldn't get the word out. Ellara suddenly felt the searing pain in her stomach. Glancing down, she saw the dagger embedded deep within her flesh.

When she looked up again, the woman's face was a mask of twisted satisfaction. She felt that, With a cruel smirk on her lips. The woman extended her hand and shoved Ellara off the bridge. The icy river below engulfed her with a splash. The freezing water stung her wounds, and within minutes, Her lungs screamed for air. She struggled to stay float, but the current was too strong. Accepting her fate, she closed her eyes, letting the water pull her down.

Evelyn jolted awake, her heart pounding and breath ragged. The nightmare was vivid, more real than ever before. She has been having these nightmares for years after her parents died in a car accident. She could still feel the phantom of pain in her stomach and the cold water surrounding her. She sat up in bed, trying to shake off the lingering feeling.

PAST LIFE - (Liam as Lysander)

An armed warrior stood on a battlefield, the sounds of sword clashing and dying men filling the air. His armor was battered, his face streaked with blood and sweat. Chaos reigned around him. A comrade rushed to his side, eyes wide with fear. “LYSANDER SIR! SIR WE BEEN BETRAYED!”

Lysander turned just in time to see a woman standing on a sloped cliff, her face obscured by shadows. She aimed an arrow at him with a deadly precision. The arrow flew straight and true, piercing his heart. Pain exploded in his chest as he collapsed to the ground. The woman approached him, her lips moving, but her words were inaudible, and her face remained a blur. As the pain ebbed away, he closed his eyes, succumbing to the cold numbness.

Liam awoke with a start, sweat soaking his sheets. The nightmare had been so real, the pain so intense. He could still hear the voices of cries and screaming for life. He sat up, trying to shake that feeling. The morning light filtered through his windows and despite the unsettling start,the day waited.

In two different places, two souls began their day with the same thought “That same stupid dream again.” The echoes of their past life haunted their dreams, leaving them with the inexplicable sense of dread and longing for answers. As Evelyn and Liam prepared to face their day, little did they know that their paths were destined to cross, and their shared history would soon begin to unravel.
