Melinda...

Two weeks have passed since classes started; so much has happened, it feels like a volcano erupted. Brad and Zara are getting closer every day, and no, I'm not jealous. I really want my friend to be happy, and since we have to live like humans, I see no problem with him having a relationship with one. I also still feel broken from the rejection. The pain is constant, and I don't think it's fair to be with someone halfway.

I found out that the delicious boy, aka Zara's older brother lol, is named Nickolas. He comes every day to bring and pick her up. He's never approached me but I always catch him looking at me, which makes it difficult to show up in sweatpants and All-Stars lol. I find myself choosing my outfit for the day thinking about whether he'll like it. Bizarre? I know.

We reached the end of another day, and the professor assigned a group project. Obviously, Zara, Brad, and I will be working together. Still, we're at an impasse about where to meet because Zara said her brothers are super protective and won't let her go to the boarding house. Zara: "We have to do it calmly, and here time is very short between classes."

Melinda: "If you can't do it at your house, we can do it at the boarding house where we live."

Since the day I first saw Melinda, I haven't been able to get her out of my head, and I make a point of taking and picking up Zara every day to see her for a few minutes. Dante and Vinicius are suspicious because our agreement was to take turns, but I'm managing to get away with it for now.

Melinda gets more beautiful every day, and it's impossible not to look at her. Today I came to pick up Zara as usual, but they didn't say goodbye at the gate; on the contrary, they came walking in my direction. So I think about it and allow them to go to our house. I'll have to pull some strings, but I believe it will work out. Zara came up with the idea of not only doing the project but spending the whole day. I thought about refusing, but my sister hasn't had friends for a long time; it wouldn't be fair to do that to her. So I gave in, and on second thought, it won't hurt to spend the day with the brunette. And that way, I can find out if she really is my mate. If she is, it will be very difficult, even more so explaining to her that the wolves from the children's stories she heard are real, especially the bad wolves. But if she accepts, I won't care about anything else and I will fight to be with her...
