Episode 10

Melinda...

We're walking down the streets, and I'm enchanted by everything I'm seeing. The neighborhood isn't very big; everything here revolves around the college, as if it were a college town, but from what we're seeing, we have everything we need right here. There are several shops, bars, snack bars, a shopping mall with a movie theater, a beautiful tree-lined square, and a lake with an incredible view. We also saw a small forest, which makes me miss Aria. Because of the necklace, I can't even talk to her, and I honestly don't know when I'll be able to transform.

We spent the whole day walking and getting to know everything. We didn't even notice when it got dark. We decided to return to the boarding house, but not before having ice cream, of course, lol...

We arrived at the boarding house, had dinner, and went to our rooms. I said goodbye to Brad, went into my room, took a shower, and fell onto the bed. I thought about calling my family, but I don't feel ready for that yet. I just sent everyone a message, but I couldn't even wait for a response. I'm so tired that I passed out...

I woke up the next day feeling my body renewed. It's a shame the pain is still here, but with the distance, I'll get used to it soon enough. I did my morning hygiene, put on a loose floral jumpsuit and my sneakers, and tied my hair in a ponytail. I need to be as comfortable as possible today for the college tour. We need to be there by 8 am. As I finished, I heard a knock on my door. I opened it and saw Brad standing there in all his glory. Have I mentioned that he's gorgeous? He's wearing shorts, a polo shirt, sneakers, and a cap that gives the look a relaxed feel. Imagine him as a doctor? I could easily pretend to be dying just to be seen by him, hahaha. I started laughing to myself, but was interrupted from my daydreams.

Brad - Mel? Did something happen?

Melinda - Hi, no, nothing. Let's just say I'm admiring the scenery.

Brad - You know you don't just have to admire from afar, princess. Just say the word, and it will all be yours, lol.

Melinda - I know, Brad, but everything in its own time. I don't want you to get hurt because of this, okay? So for now, I'll just admire from afar, lol.

Brad - All right, all in your own time. Now let's have breakfast; we can't be late for college.

We went down to have breakfast. By the goddess, I have to be careful not to gain weight here, hahaha. The table is beautiful, full of bread and cakes, and I notice that there are a few more people who must have come for the tour. I made my plate and got a place to sit. On the way, we greeted everyone and introduced ourselves. We finished breakfast, grabbed our bags, and left for college...

Norty West College is exactly like the pictures on the website. It looks like a castle. Its architecture is old, but very well preserved. The guide shows us every corner: the classrooms for theoretical classes, the laboratories for practical classes, the cafeteria, the university hospital where we will do our internship, the library, the study and break rooms. I was walking around, taking pictures of everything to send to my mother. I looked at Brad, who was as happy and delighted as I was, but I couldn't help but notice the looks on him. Let's just say our wolf genes make us more attractive; classes haven't even started, and he's already a hit, lol.

We walked around all morning and stopped for lunch at the college itself, and met some people. The second part of the tour was the bureaucratic part. We went to talk to the dean to confirm that everything was right with our enrollments. We received our schedules, material lists, locker keys, and to top it off, we had a welcome lecture with the college director. We left there and decided to buy everything that was on the material list right away. We went to the stores we had seen yesterday during our walk. It wasn't difficult; we found everything. And we ended the day with Brad dragging me to the movies, lol. And then we returned to the boarding house. I can't believe there are only four days left until my dream begins...
