Athymathy was running down the hallways with her Maids, they took one-of the worst paths known to the household, aware that she'd likely never reach the office using the path.

Athymathy St.Vonsuen

" Well, if life isn't against me then I don't know anymore.

「Maid」Angel

" My lady ! Life isn't against you! We'll make it!!! " — She looked back at Sume — " Uhm..

「Maid」Sume

— Running as fast as she could right behind Angel — " Mhm? — shrugged —

Athymathy knew that quite well that there was no secret passage or any hall that could lead them to the office sooner, or in the beginning she didn't.

After her return, during her 2 years in her body, she would often roam around the mansion out of boredom and eventually stumbled upon multiple secret passageways

with that, she immediately took a sharp turn to the left and ran down the hallway, her maids did struggle a little bit but managed to keep up. She stopped at some point, the hallway she stood in.

The walls were tall and seemed neverending, the hallway was long like an endless path to nowhere, and behind her was an enormous portrait of her Mother. She turned to face the portrait and picked up the red carpet

「Maid」Angel

" My lady...? "

「Maid」Sume

"Huh.. ?? "

Athymathy St.Vonsuen

" Mhm... it's here, I just know it " — She mumbled to herself as she kept searching until she found a small hole where three or four fingers could fit in —

" Bingo. " — She then used her strength to lift it up, opening up a hatch.

" Let's go. "

「Maid」Angel

" But-how...? "

「Maid」Sume

" Understood. "

They all went inside the hatch

And traveled in the tunnels, after a minute or so of going left and right and who knows where, they reached another hatch. This time Angel opened it and together they all went out

「Maid」Sume

" Where...are we? could this be ..? "

「Maid」Angel

" My my- I didn't know my lady knew about secret tunnels... but you are right. Where are we? " — She looked around confused.

" Take a good look ladies. " — She said as she wiped off any remaining dust on her dress

「Maid」Sume

" W...wait, we're outside the Duke's office.?? "

Athymathy St.Vonsuen

" Yep..." — She walked towards the two doors as she sighed " Don't tell anyone about this and keep the coast clear... wouldn't want people to know..."

「Maid」Sume

" I ....uh understood " — She nodded

「Maid」Angel

" Understood my lady! — She smiled and nodded excessively.

Athymathy St.Vonsuen

" it's showtime. " — Although she had never shown any interest or care for her own life, she couldn't tolerate losing and being wronged by someone else. This feeling she thought long lost,still lingered in her even after losing everything as Chaiya.

A tea cup was placed on the table.

Orca St.Vonsuen

" Uh huh, so that's why you came here? To tell me that the Mistress harbours hatred towards you and may try to harm or slander you? Why would you think that?

Athymathy who was seated opposite to her father Orca began sniffing a little, a few tears ran down her supple skin.

" I love mother tirian so much that I accidentally mentioned her name when I was talking to Mistress Nicole. I knew she didn't like mother but I couldn't help but mention her name...s.. since

There was knocking on the door.

Cyrus left to check who was knocking. Duke Orca however, was still stuck on what course of action he should take. Although he was aware of Mistress Nicole's dislike for Tirian but he never thought that she may possibly hate Athymathy for mentioning her name.

Orca St.Vonsuen

" I don't think the Mistress would be that irrational to hate you all because you mentioned Lady Tirian's name. "

Athymathy St.Vonsuen

" But fatherrr..." — She crossed her arms and pouted. [ Well shucks, there goes my plan. If he doesn't believe me ... Then Nicole will turn the tides and make me look like the villain while she pretends to be the victim. But ... I won't give up. ]

Orca sighed as his fingers grazed over his forehead, likely stressed out. Cyrus opened the door allowing two individuals in. With a smile he informed the Duke about the individual

It was non other than Nicole.

Mistress Nicole greeted the Duke as he greeted back, after mentioning her name Athymathy's eyed lit up.

[ Nicole?? She's here?..Well then... ]

Orca St.Vonsuen

" You may have to wait though as I already have a guest. "

Nicole St.Vonsuen

" and who may that be..? "

Athymathy St.Vonsuen

" Surprise.⊹˚..."

Those were the exact words the Mistress asked and may even become her biggest regret.

Nicole St.Vonsuen

" N-no it cannot be?! It cannot!!! " — She backed away slowly —

Athymathy St.Vonsuen

" Surprise Surprise.⊹˚ ∘ ╯" — She turned her head around, feeling nothing more than a bundle of joy, to see her expression only brought her satisfaction —

At that moment, Nicole was baffled and angered. She couldn't believe what she saw. It was also during that moment, Athymathy felt pure satisfaction in seeing her break down slowly yet finely so.

" Rest well my Lady. "

「Maid」Angel

— She turned off all the candles, leaving her lady to rest in peace. —
