After many years for the first time someone tried to speak for me. Someone fight for me. Am I overthinking?

" Duchess ? Do you want to talk with them anymore ? I am done with them. The General will give them money. Let's go. It's time to leave. ", The Duke said.

He did not give me a chance to answer him ... he started to pull my hand and dug me with him on the way of carriage

I can feel his warm hand through his gloves. I think it is the opposite of his personality.

I get in a horse carriage. I met a maid there.

"i, jasmin, from now i will be duchess personal maid. Please tell me anything you need i will prepare for you.", the maid said.

He (the duke) didn't get in the carriage. He rides on horses. I can clearly see his shadow on my window.

It's three or four days earlier of the full moon.

 But moonlight seems like it's full moon everything - roads, trees are clear to see and any objects can clearly identify just like daytime.

milady i forget his majesty, give me those clothes and order to me to help you change them. ", jasmin said.

" why? my clothes are enough for me. It's comfortable and warm too for travelling. ", i said.

Milady please change them. Those are more comfortable and made from good materials. ", jasmin said.

" then okay give me. But you need to be out of this carriage. I will do it myself ", i said

"No. My lady I cannot go out I need to help you in changing. If duke hears... He will tear my head ", jasmine said.

"why lady of duke's mansion will change her dress herself ? Did not I arranged a personal maid for duchess before arrival mansion?, thee duke asked.

so he was following our conversation. what a scary man he is!

"okay. Well... Then help me for changing ",i said.

" okay. my lady. ", jasmin said.

" My lady. . . Duke is not the person everyone knows him in rumors. " Jasmin said.

I did not reply her anything. I am thinking thanks god duke did not get in carriage. If he was in. . . How I travel this three or four days.

Jasmin help me for changing. That dress was amazing design with high quality of silk, expensive diamonds and pearls.

After many years once again I get chance to wear this kind of dress.

My father usually order for me this kind of dress.

Suddenly carriage stopped.

"why stop ? Is it something wrong? ", I asked.

" nothing is wrong. we are going stay and rest here tonight ." , The Duke replied.

he opens carriage door and offer his hand to me.

" Duchess do you want to look around of here?", The Duke asked.
