I wake up to the chirping of birds outside, and then I open my eyes slowly, blinking several times until I get used to the sunlight streaming through the window. I feel Derek's large, strong arms wrapped around my waist, and I turn in bed, staring at his serene face. A lock of hair falls over his face, and I gently brush it away.
The memory of what we did washes over me, and I feel my cheeks flush as a genuine smile spreads across my lips. It was the best experience of my life. He's definitely perfect in every way. He's so beautiful it seems like a mirage.

With those words, I feel safer than ever. The future is uncertain, but in this moment, everything is exactly as it should be. And then, as I stroke his chest, making imaginary circles with my fingers on his hard, warm skin, I murmur a little shyly:
"It was a truly magical night, Derek. I will never forget it."
He gently holds my chin and lifts my face toward his, his eyes searching mine deeply as he says:
"And it will be only the first of many, my dear. You are mine, now and forever."
I feel a comfortable warmth spread through my body as his eyes gleam with a mixture of tenderness and desire. He brings his face closer to mine and kisses me softly, a kiss that conveys silent promises of love and protection.
"I love you, Siena," he says, with a sincerity that makes me shiver.
"I love you too, Derek," I reply, feeling my heart expand with the sentiment.
We remain like this, in silence, enjoying each other's company, as the sun continues to rise in the sky. Then, in a quick movement, he hovers over me.
His eyes gleam with an intensity that makes me catch my breath. Derek brings his face close to mine, and his lips lightly brush my earlobe as he whispers:
"Mating with you was like entering paradise. Definitely an immense pleasure."
His whisper is hot and spine-tingling, sending a shiver down my spine. I feel each word as a caress, and my heart beats faster in response. He keeps his eyes fixed on mine, his expression a mixture of desire and deep satisfaction.
"Derek..." I murmur, my hands sliding down his back, feeling the strength and firmness of his muscles.
He smiles, a predatory smile full of affection at the same time, and lowers his head to kiss me. The kiss is deep, full of passion and promise, as if he wanted to show me with every touch how much I mean to him. His hands explore my body with a newfound knowledge, and each touch seems to rekindle the fire we shared last night.
"You are everything to me, Siena," he says between kisses, his voice husky and thick with emotion. "I will protect and love you every day of my life."
I feel a wave of emotion wash over me, and my hands find his face, holding him tenderly. His eyes are so intense and sincere, reflecting my own feelings of love and devotion.
"And I will be by your side, Derek. Always," I reply, my voice thick with sincerity.
