Episode 8: Survive the Colosseum Part 1

During trial, she has been accused of many things. She's just standing there eating all the nonsense.

And they decided to release her after she won the Colosseum arena duel. The prideful 3rd son of the Golden Phoenix said that she should be fighting 5 opponents at once. And the court allowed it.

After the court, the guy walks by her. "This is what you wanted, you deserve it for not following my order.", the guy smirks.

She on the other hand, has to start training. She used the Training Book. Furthermore, she asked the Curse Forge if there is a master of combat.

"There is a lot. But, since you're a beginner. One suggestion, [ Better Combat Rebirth ]. It removes all limitations in combat. How does that sound?", the woman said. She nodded, "If you suggest me that, then I shall just get it.". "Alright, you will learn it. No more questions.", the woman said.

She was teleported to a place.

"Is this where combatants were learned?", she asked. "Oh, the mortal. Seems like you're here.", the person said. "Teacher! Teach me please!", she bowed down.

"Alright, since you're eager. I shall let you train. Now, wear this.", the person gave her 10 kg for each limb. She wears it, and it's already restraint her a lot. "What do I do now?", she asked. "I want you to swing that sword for 1,000 times using each arms and legs and your mouth and run 10 kilometers.", the person said, and the quest existed on her head.

She thought it was a joke but seems like the person was serious. She went through many years of swinging the sword and running. Not only that, but she feels emotionally exhausted. But, it seems like the person is worse than hell.

500 years has passed in that world, she was already honed to the maximum of her limitations. And obtained her first mod through hard achievement, [ Better Combat Rebirth ]. This modification allows her to swing anything with no restrictions while both running and crouching. While also allowing her to critical at her will.

"Teacher. Am I done?", she asked. The person was satisfied with the results and tells her. "You are one hell of a student. If you want more training come to me.", the person smiled while she knows that she didn't want to go through that again.

She got back to real world and saw she changed back how she used to look like. "My efforts was in vain huh... But, the experience is different.", she smiled a little.

She got called for her first fight. She got a wooden sword and her opponent got a steel sword. The match was rigged. But, they said it was to balance the match. The audience were cheering on the steel sword guy.

"Surrender girl, you got nothing other than your crappy armor and that wooden stick", the guy taunted her. "Is that all you got? You're even worse than a bug.", she taunted him back, and it worked. He went to slash her, and she easily counter it. Thanks to her grueling training. She can counter every attack. "That's cheating!", the guy said. "Sorry but you lose.", she knocked the guy out. And she won her first round. She won't know whatever happened to the guy after that.

"Well, it's far quiet compared to that place. Isn't it?", she aimed her sword at the wall. "It's rude to come uninvited. I give you three seconds.", she said while glaring at the empty wall.

And the person came out, "How did you know I was hiding. Not even high ranking cultivators can detect me.". "Let's say it's my instinct. So, speak up. I know your objective half way.", she holds her sword. The guy throws his daggers at insane speed and she is still able to react towards it. "If that's all, it's so pathetic.", she said. "You think you won?", the guy pulled back the dagger and the dagger hit her. "Poison?! You really stoop so low!", she was mad and the guy left. She look around and nobody was there. She takes out the Transmutation tablet and take a glass milk and the poison effect was cured.
