Raised By Three Secret Agents
Leon's POV
Few days ago
I stood alongside my teammates in front of the boss, he looked so furious as he hit his favorite cane of the ground making this annoying tap sound.
He sighed and finally thought it was funny enough to talk about letting us stand in silence for the past two hours. If he wasn't the boss, I would have made him pay for making me wait.
"You guys are sorry of special agents, how could you have let him escape? Were you guys sleeping? What did you take this organization for?" he yelled, his body trembling as he spoke. I could see Ray's body trembling on anger, he was boiling in rage.
I knew how he felt, that bastard shot him on the thigh and now this bastard son of a bitch is making him stand with that aching thigh for two hours to sprout shit. I felt like feeding him bullets.
"Are you guys even listening? Argh..the nerve of the three of you, I know what to do with you. " his yell woke me up from my sweet daydream of feeding him bullets watching blood seep from the holes my bullets made.
"We are sorry, sir. It won't happen again." Jayden said with his head bowed and his fist clenched behind his back. He was cursing under his breath mumbling curses as long as his breath could hold on.
The bastard just laughed and shook his head in annoyance.
"I give you guys two days to find a smart little girl about five years old to carry out your new mission. If you guess fuck this up, I freaking up bullets in your darned heads, you get that?"
"Yes, sir!" we all bellowed.
...****************...
"Fuck!!" Ray yelled tossing the chair across the hall. His face was beet red in pure rage, his lips were white from being bitten under his teeth.
"Calm down, Ray. We will work this out together like we have always did in the past. This isn't the first time, that bastard has made us go through hell." Jayden said with his head resting on his forehead, Ray shit his eyes tight trying to calm down.
"It'll be fine, Ray. You will find a daughter before the end of the day, trust me. " I said . It has always been this way, we were forced to kill and do that fat bastard's dirty work like dogs since we were sold to him.
If not because we were exceptional and smart, we would have died along with the others but now, I think it would have been better if we died as well. We won't be living like this.
...----------------...
It was already late in the night, the cold breeze blew against our bare skins. We weren't allowed to go back home, so we had to go hunting for a child in plain shirts and shorts in this cold April weather. I expected as much, none of us were shocked nor surprised.
"Captain, where should we stay from? There are millions of orphanage homes or are we expected to get laid?" Ray asked pointing out the obvious. I wanted to asked but the words just didn't sound right.
"Let's start from the closest orphanage, we might be lucky enough to get a kid. " he said looking out the window.
We lived at the outskirts of town like outcasts and even the convenience store was kilometers away, now we are talking about an orphanage, who was he kidding?
Ray rolled his eyes and picked his phone, he still looked pissed. I was boiling but I didn't want to worry captain, he had enough on his plate than to babysit me as well as Ray.
We drove for about two hours, Ray was already dossing off slowly. He was much more calm and peaceful when he had his mouth shut.
"There... let's just hope we will find a kid. The bastard said a five year old girl."
The orphanage home looked like we stepped out of a horror movie, it was so shabby and worn out. Flowers and grasses were even growing out of the cracks in the walls and the bell on top of the building was not making it any better. Thankfully, Ray was asleep.
"Should we leave Ray here alone? I don't want him to have another panic attack, this place will scare him." I said glancing over to Ray who was resting his head gently on the handle of the door with his eyes closed as he snored softly. Sometimes I forget he is just nineteen.
"I will stay with him, he needs someone by his side when he wakes up." I nodded, we needed to take care of our littlest.
"Call me immediately, you have the kid." I nodded to his words before I exited the car. The building compound was filled with long grasses as it surrounded the lone building, how could kids live here in the first place?
