SCENARIO 1 | "Everything's okay, I'm here now..."

The sound of the rustling crowd could be heard through all of Yunping City, "It's official! It's official! Guanyin has blessed us!" Shouted a young man, handing out pictures of a somewhat beautiful place. "Hmm?" A male dressed in black tugged at another's sleeve, pointing to the crowd. "Hey, Lan Zhan, let's go over here." The male said, becoming more consistent at tugging the other male's sleeve. With a sigh, the other male, dressed in white, agreed, "Mn." The two walked over. The young man repeated again, "It's official! It's official! Guanyin has blessed us!" Taking a paper from the young man, the male in black asked, "Um, sir, what exactly has he blessed us with?.." "Huh? Can't you see? Take a look! A beautiful inn, as well as a garden, is being renovated by himself!" The young man said, waving a paper in front of the male in black. "Himself, huh?" The male turned to the man in white. "Lan Zhan, it must be that he brought lots of riches to this town, as well as a notice, showing what it is for." The male in white nodded. "Hey, did you say who's name I thought you said?" The young man said to the man in black. "Lan Zhan? Or, for you, Lan Wangji."

"And you, who are you?" The young man pointed at the one in black. "Me? I'm Wei Wuxian." The young man gasped in shock, "Please excuse me for being impolite." The young man only apologized to Lan Wangji. "Eh? Hey! I'm here too!" Wei Wuxian said with a stubborn look. "Sorry to you too." The young man apologized, quickly running to a new spot on the street. "Hey!" Wei Ying turned to Lan Zhan. "How come he was so sincere when apologizing to you, but when he apologized to me, he didn't even bow?!" Lan Zhan shrugged. "We should continue the journey." Lan Zhan said, walking ahead. Wei Ying followed, jogging until he caught up to him.

-FEW HOURS LATER-IN A RANDOM FOREST-

"Lan Zhann, I'm so tired..." Wei Ying said, followed by a yawn. "We will start a fire over here and rest then." Lan Zhan said, pointing. "Okay. I'll go grab some firewood." Wei Ying said. After setting up the fire, Wei Ying asked Lan Zhan, "Lan Zhan, when did you learn to start a fire?" Lan Zhan said, "Around 6."No wonder it's so bright." Said Wei Ying, smiling. Wei Ying yawned, then rested, leaning onto a tree. Lan Zhan fell asleep about the same time, with his posture remaining as he rested. As usual, Wei Ying woke up before Lan Zhan did. After a few minutes, he got up and walked around the forest, not going too far. Just when Wei was about to go back to where Lan Zhan was, he heard the echo of growling. Wei Ying froze for a second, then continued walking, thinking he was just hearing something in his head. He heard it again, except behind him. By the time Wei Ying turned around, the ferocious wild dogs were biting at him. Wei Ying had nothing to do but try to block and scream for help.

Wei Ying, hesitant that Lan Zhan would hear him, he screamed, "Lan Zhan! Help me, please!" Within a few seconds, Wei Ying had heard Lan Zhan's steps. Lan Zhan picked Wei Ying up, using Bichen* to get to a thick but somewhat high branch of a tree.

Bichen is Lan Wangji's sword. (swords for cultivators could be used to reach other places by riding/standing on the sword.)

Wei Ying, crying from his intense fear of dogs (especially when they attacked him 😔 btw he just crying because they attacked him. WWX IS STILL A TOUGH GUY ALR👹) couldn't help but grab on to Lan Zhan. Lan Zhan, struggling to help with Wei Ying's wounds while Wei grabbed onto him, said, "Wei Ying. Let me bandage your wounds." Still crying, Wei let go of Lan Zhan. After Lan Zhan finished taking care of Wei Ying's wounds, Wei clinged onto Lan Zhan. Lan Zhan noticed that Wei's hands were shaking, so he embraced him with a tight hug and said, "Everything's okay, I'm here now..." Hearing the gentle and genuine words, Wei Ying's hand stopped shaking, yet his heartbeat was still racing. Lan Zhan quickly noticed this and started to hum a soothing melody, "Wangxian." Wei Ying's heartbeat not only returned to normal, but he soon also fell asleep in Lan Zhan's arms.

After the ferocious dogs had given up, Lan Zhan carried Wei Ying in his arms and continued to hum "Wangxian." Lan Zhan had reached an inn after a while. He had got them a room, then laid Wei on the bed. Not long after, Wei Ying woke up. Wei Ying glared at Lan Zhan, asleep on the spare cushion. Wei Ying stood up and walked over to him. He felt that Lan Zhan deserved a proper bed. So, with some struggling, he picked up Lan Zhan and sat him on the bed. Wei Ying sat by the edge of the bed and said,

" Lan Zhan, thanks for that."
